Stick to the character plz

This is something i had issue with earlier as well. Writers are unable to stick with the character sketches that they started off with. Aahil going goo goo eyed over Sanam yesterday, thinking of going over with a heart balloon etc might have been liked by many and really, since it was a SaHil scene to some extent we can still tolerate this Un-Aaahil like dream. But this is just too much. Sanam is shown as a conservative girl like her father who was scandalized when Aahil used to casually get intimate with his girl friends. She used to shy away from touching her fiance. and now it has been many times that she has casually put her hands and arms around rehaan for no reason at all.. Once was the time when they were talking watching the stars and she puts her hand on his chest. excuse me but for me that's a bit to personal even between friends whop know each other for years. and to have this level of intimacy and casualness between people who have just become friends who are just getting to know each other.. where both are very straight laced , conservative people is just unreal.. and today in precap..i don't care how the scene plays out tomorrow .. no matter how and what is spoken between sanam and rehaan .. it will still look artificial and forced ..and totally out of character for Sanam to hug another man.. albeit.. that he is her only friend... Even Asad used to look uncomfortable when Tanveer used to throw herself at him and hug him for sympathy... and they were friends since child hood... only hug that was initiated by asad was the 1st scene of Tanveer after bus accident and that was understandable for drama quotient and natural reaction in the situation.. and again for the fact that they were child hood friends.. but those things do not apply for Sanam rehaan .

we still do not know if hug is dream or real. i don know if putting hands on friends shoulder/arm is artificial but nice to see her character growing rather being at a same point

I know of a few who gets a lil culture shock coming to town to study...while they're the same generally...they do pick up on things like being extra touchy feely.

rehaan was pereshan for sanam so.he was very concern for her. she was just try to pacify him...😕 that what friends for its truely friendly hug

I am not saying that we can't hug friends or touch their arms.. we can.. and its ok if they had shown it after a few episodes... but if you remember that watching the stars scene was the only 3rd scene after they became friends and for me that's too soon to be on such familiar terms. conservative may be the wrong words but its just out of character and not normal.

even if rehaan had initiated the hug and later had pulled back.. it would be because he is in love with her.. but for sanam who think of rehaan as just a friend a hug seems too soon in friendship... all i am saying is that just like Aahil's feelings for Sanam changed too soon similarly Sanam's familiar behaviour with Rehaan is all too soon..

Regarding Asad hugging Zoya.. Asad started hugging zoya after he fell for her and that was after he saved her from forced marraige to Akram. and everytime he did hug her it was like he was fighting with himself against it... That was a charm.. because he struggled with his convictions every time when he was near Zoya. Asad and Zoya though were friends too.. but between them a large part was their physical attraction towards each other.. their love for each other. they were soul mates and yes the hugs came much later in the show too..

Sanam and Rehaan's relationship at least from Sanam's end is supposed to be platonic.. just friendship.. and a new one at that so this much familiarity is out of place for me.. and its just to create MU and drama.

Now if Aahil had pulled Sanam in a hug or Sanam had hugged him back after the machine scene it would have been something what Asad Zoya had.. the attraction and Connection between them as 'soul mates' coming into play.

Hmm... I feel it is a bit drastic, but we also haven't watched the episode completely so we don't know the context she did it in. Though, I do feel they shouldn't stretch sanam's character like that. She is a bit conservative and I don't think she would hug rehaan on just a whim like that normally, maybe rehaan comforted her after her argument with aahil? Idk but there has to be a reason why she hugs him or atleast it has some kind of backstory behind it because I don't think their friendship is at that comfort level, atleast from sanam's side. Though, I don't mind their hug, just that poor aahil's heart breaks at seeing it. lol

@TM. I agree with all the points you made. They are all valid and makes complete sense. Just to create misunderstanding in Aahil's mind Sanam's hug was completely out of character. Well it did serve its purpose and made Aahil jealous, but what if Aahil thinks Sanam to be characterless, because in the former incident she threw herself at Aahil. I know it was done in unconscious state, and now she being conscious and all hugging Rehaan too. I agree Rehaan hugging Sanam out of concern and also because he is attracted towards her, would have served the purpose as well and still would have been natural. Its like the "Will" and "Aahil's Age Issue" again. Just to bring a twist in the show and to show SaHil's marriage they added the clause that Aahil needs to be married in order to gain ownership of the will and his wife would get 50% of share in the property. I mean which father in his sane mind leaves his 50% of property to an unknown person. How would he know that Aahil will make a correct decision and choose a good girl and not make the mistake of marrying a Gold Digger unlike his father. There are possibilities that the Girl might end up marrying his son solely for money na?!! Biggest Example of this is Nida's Entry into the picture b'cos of the will being involved. If the whole Will had been on Aahil's name but only after marriage it would still have made some sense. And Suddenly Aahil turned 29 and going to be 30 in two weeks.?? It would have made sense if Tanveer wouldn't have repeated the dialogue of being in jail for 12 Years like a broken record then we could have analyzed the number by ourselves. To top this Blooper, Aahil in the flashback scenes does not looks older than 11 or 12 years, where Tanveer so conveniently murdered Nawab Senior. So obviously she was immediately taken to Jail. I don't think Police would have had come after four or five years to make the arrest. Yeah the justice might have gotten delayed, but murder cases rarely get bail that too when the murderer has confessed their crime and self-surrendered then the justice is served quickly. So going by the logic Aahil should have been 23 or 24 years old, ok he could be 25 years old max, and the will could have had the clause of Aahil marrying before his 26th Birthday. Even then the will would have served its Purpose. But no CV's make some indigestible bloopers in the show, which makes us pull our hair in frustration. First the mellowing of Aahil, then Aahil concern for Sanam while saving her from graveyard and Sanam calling Aahil to rescue, despite being aware of the fact that Aahil "HATES HER", she could have called her Badi Ammi or Rehaan. Then Aahil suddenly falling in love with a simple next door girl, after dating a Dozen of Hot Girls.??!! That too with just one simple hug. The guy who makes out at every given opportunity and his life revolved around One Night Stands, reacting to Sanam's Hug as though he has been for the first time touched so intimately by the person of the opposite sex??!! Rehaan reacting in this way is understandable as he seems to be attracted to Sanam and is in love with Sanam and have never been involved in flings. So the touch of Girl in form of hug is a whole new thing for him. But Aahil who just before the Graveyard Burial incident have just started softening up towards Sanam makes a high jump of falling in Love with her was so utterly confusing. So in whole the story of Qubool Hai sometimes makes no sense. But still we have to watch it with a Pinch Of Salt.

I thought the arm touching was a lil off too. But got excited anyway.

I was just saying...She never has a Rehan in her life. That kind of friend. Unless you count Lambu. Still.


They should totally make Rehan take her into a hug. And not the other way round! Hmm.
