No one is saying it was anything other than that.. just a friendly hug.. its just that Sanam as character would not hug any guy be it friend or not.. she would be shy and controlled.. thats the reason why it was out of character for her to pull a guy into a friendly hug.

For all those who are pointing at my Asad, I want to ask you:

Wasn't Asad hugging Zoya more of an impulse than anything else? His desperation to see the love of his life (not that he realised it) alive and talking (the bathtub scene)?

And Sanam hugging Rehan was completely done on purpose? When she was fully in control of herself and not flowing in a conflict of emotions like Asad?

It was a friendly hug, sure. Friends hug friends. Cool.

But not in case of Sanam.

It was okay if she was crying and hurt and was taking solace in Rehan's arms, that would've been acceptable.

Because at that time she would've been broken and would've thrown rationality aside, the hug would've been in an emotional flow, that is.

If SaHil had hugged after the washing machine scene, it would've been totally acceptable. Impulse, that would've been.

Not that I don't like SaHan. I love their cuteness. ❤️

But no one dares to point a finger at my Asad.

No one.

@TM- agree with you. The whole Sanam-Rehan friendship was developed in fast-forward mode and I found it odd right from the fall-catch, wipe the tears scene. I would ahve expected her to do it herself and walk proudly, that's what a girl who reacted the way she did on her aborted wedding to Azhar would've done.

Love triangles are a big hassle, if they don't invest enough time & care in developing. In QH, they dumb down the object of attraction so much that you don't care who he/she ends up with.In QH 1, Asad was so dumbed down during JaNu track, i felt he didn't deserve Zoya. Hope, they don't stretch SaHan track so much that people stop caring who Ahil ends up with. IMO, the actor playing Rehan can't pull off intense scenes that are crucial for love triangles and it's better if they just use this to create the MU and stop right after that.

No one is pointing fingers at Asad.. u r right in Asad hugged Zoya purely on impulse and a big part was his intense feelings for her...

in QH2 , Aahil hugging Sanam back would be something like what Asad Zoya had..

what about in the pre cap wearing a skimpy outfit.. If a muslim girl wears this at any function she will get lynched...
