Ok, my first post on Rehaan. And I take back my take that Rehaan has shades of grey. The Dargah episode painted him in white. He is pure soul, at least till now.
We have seen people falling in love, and also recently saw someone rising in love. But Rehaan kneels down in love.
For that is how he has been treated since childhood. Never know any of his parents.
Only knows his Ahil Bhai, who has given him everything, and he has accepted everthing, kneeling down, in thankfulness.
"Pyaar Woh Hai Meri Jaan, Jo Jeena Sikha De"
He too is a living example of the Umrao Jaan dialog. Where love made Ahil's heart beat faster, it started the heartbeat in Rehaan, which is so essential for survival?
- A man who has never asked for anything, asks for Sanam's happiness, no strings attached.
- A man was always grateful for whatever he has received, will he be vengeful for what he doesn't receive.
- A man who never know he had a heart, now knows he has one thanks to Sanam.
- A man who has been bandaged in gratitude, wants the soothing balm of love.
What happens when Saahil marry?
That will be Rehaan's litmus test. A test that will bring his characters and genes to the fore.More than Nida, it is Rehaan who is the thorn in her plans right now.
