Had missed entire last weeks episode. And saw all the 5 episodes in one go. And here is my take.
The week that was - reminded me of a typical bollywood masala movie. It had all the elements:
- Singing - Sanam singing at Begum's insistence. SJ lip syncs very well. Loved her expressions when she realised what she sang in front of Ahil.
- Dancing - Ahil, Khala and Khalu dancing to Begum Sahiba's tunes.
- Drama - Billi blind, Dilshad in KV, almost meeting Tannu, Bill meeting Zoya's daughter, DIL locking up MIL, would be DIL, saving MIL's MIL... Suddenly, the drama quotient seems to have increased.š
- Romance - Raahat-Haya, look fresh, thankfully, something that is away from the prying eyes/ blind eyes of billi.
- Action - Akki and terrorists made for some good action sequences. After the QH1 Akram fiasco, we haven't had any real good action in Qh. The movie promotion was nicely integrated and executed.
- Suspense - The locked room suspense was good, mainly bcoz it was short lived. The doors in QH2 are opening quite quickly. The one at KV and the one at SM, both opened quickly.
It was a billilicious week, but AG in this avatar is actually likable. Cant believe I am saying this. Making Billi blind - that was some good thinking by CVs.
Ahil giving more prominence to saving Badi Ammi rather than saving his Ammi was a treat to watch. And billi's own blood supporting Sanam in defiance of Ahil, leaving a red faced Begum was a double treat to watch.
The week that wasn't - watching all at one go, missed a few elements:
- No SAAHIL, Wished there was one, even a confrontational one. But Ahil was busy buzzing around his ammi I guess and CVs concentrating on their TRP queen.
- No Billi-Rehaan - There was a very small interaction, and AG did good to not show any emotion. Their relation, I think is being held up for a purpose.
- No Rehaan - Rehaan was conspicuous by his absence during the terrorist attack. Makes me more and more inclined with Rivs theory that Rehaan owes allegiance to not Tanveer but Razia.
- No Thanksgiving - Ahil is a thankless creature. He should've thanked Sanam for saving Badi Ammi, if not for saving him and his family.
The week that would be - All roads lead to Saahil I guess. And yes, we have a modified Beta in the offing.
- The Badi Ammis of QH - one for Sanam and one for Ahil. Now, I hope the story concentrates on the badi ammis and their grandchildren.
- Saahil Nikaah - Billi senses Ahils hatred for Sanam, so she is gonna ask Ahil to marry Sanam. Ahil will agree blindly to his ammi, how will sanam agree is the question?
- Dilshad-Tanveer - Two things can happen - they will not meet or they will meet, and Dilshad will go into shock on seeing Tannu, but Tanveer will not recognize Dilshad. The time is not ripe for Tanveer to know Sanam's real identity. And if Sanam has to agree for the mrg, then Dilshad's treatment could be the reason.
- Ahil's G/f - Didnt get her name? But so soon. Saahil are not even on looking at each other terms. There cannot be any J factor now. Or maybe Ahil decided to marry the girl and she runs away on day of nikaah, in keeping up with QH tradition.š
Gosh, that was long. Must be one of my longest post.
