Hello friends!!! 😃 I was a little busy these 2-3 days and here since its a weekend too, went for an outing, and got time finally to update this. 😊 So here is Part 45, which has emotions, love and soulful connection!! ❤️ Hope you enjoy reading!! 😊

Part 45:

Farhaan reaches the hospital with Asad and Zoya, and Asad takes Zoya in his arms and rushes inside the hospital, while Ayaan and Imraan wait there with a stretcher and Asad lays down Zoya in it and they all proceed to the ICU, and the chief neurologist arrives there and goes inside the ICU.

Asad, Farhaan wait outside with Ayaan and Imraan tensed. Asad sits at the chair over there being all blood stained and in tears while Farhaan sits with him and tries to calm Asad down.

The doctors start their treatment and try to weaken the strength of the poison in Zoya's body, while Zoya is in unconscious state.

Rashid and Dilshaad also reach with Kabir and Zainab and so did all the friends.

"What were you both doing in the room with Zoya when she did such a drastic step??" asked Ayaan angrily to Humeira.

"Ayaan, we had no idea she was about to do something like this. She was all quiet the entire time, without even speaking anything" explained Humeira.

"But at that mental condition of Zoya, don't you both know you aren't supposed to leave her alone only??" asked Imraan.

"Imraan, you are speaking as if we deliberately left her alone after knowing she was about to do something like this" argued Tanveer, "She was already all heartbroken and wasn't even replying to our questions properly. And during such a situation, when she tells she wants to stay alone, what do you expect us to do??"

"Guys, just calm down" interfered Farhaan, "This is not anyone's mistake here. What would they do if Zoya was having such a plan in her mind??"

"And you!!! Farhaan Sahab!!" said Ayaan and went to him, "Dude, you knew last night itself that this marriage is not going to take place and Zoya's Ammi accepted for Asad and Zoya's marriage. You could have said it that time itself right?? If that was the case, we could have prevented all of this from happening right??"

"Come on Ayaan!!" said Farhaan, "Little did I think that Zoya would take such a drastic step. She was speaking so strongly to me even a day before. So we thought to give a very nice surprise today and who ever imagined she would go for a suicide attempt??"

"But still, we could have..."argued Tanveer, while Nikhat interrupted.

"Just stop it guys!!!" shouted Nikhat, "Is this discussion so important at this point of time?? Rather than blaming each other for Zoya's current condition, we must all pray for her speedy recovery. That's more important!!"

Zainab was crying at the door, while Asad was standing by the side of the ICU door, with closed eyes. Kabir was standing next to Asad, equally disturbed.

Just then, Dr. Abhishek Mehra, the chief neurologist came out of the ICU and everyone swarmed around him.

"Doctor, how is my child?? Is she okay now??" asked Zainab in tears.

"Dr. Mehra, how is Zoya?? Nothing serious right?" asked Asad in a panicked tone.

"Asad, she has injected really a very high dosage of the steroid. We have given anti dote for it, to take its effect off. But..."said the doctor.

"But what doctor???" asked Asad in a frightened tone.

"Thing is she has injected it in her vein and the steroid effect has spread to the entire body and it has suppressed her brain and nervous system." The doctor said while everyone was shocked listening to it.

"What are you saying Abhi??" asked Rashid.

"Rashid, you all are doctors and I guess you can understand the situation very well" explained Dr. Mehra, "It's not that Zoya has consumed poison or such. If that's the case, we could have flushed out the poison from her stomach and saved her without complications. She has injected it in her vein directly. She isn't even gaining consciousness after this much effort done by us. Her body is just not cooperating. Her pulses are still very feeble."

All looked shattered hearing it and Asad just looked down emotionless hearing it.

"Her treatment is going on. But I am afraid, if this state continues there are chances that she could go brain dead and...well...I guess you all understand..." said Dr. Mehra, while Zainab collapsed at the chair and broke into tears, and Dilshaad went to her and consoled, being in tears. Kabir too was equally heart-broken to hear it and looked at Asad who was standing reaction less hearing it.

"Dr. Mehra, are you sure there is no other way out??" asked Ayaan panicked.

"How can be there a way out???" asked Dr. Mehra in an angry tone, "Why are you all learning medicine?? For what purpose are we training you doctors here?? To misuse the knowledge you attain to do such stupidities??"

All the friends just bent down hearing it and passed looks at each other.

Kabir was thinking about something, and then came to Dr. Mehra, "Well, doctor, my name is Kabir. I am Zoya's father and I am a neurologist as well. Do you mind if I give you a suggestion??"

"Yes Sir, sure!!" said Dr. Mehra.

"Due to the effect of the steroid, Zoya's nervous system is currently suppressed down totally. And if it continues only, chances might get worse. But if her brain starts responding, it's easy to recover, yeah??" asked Kabir, while Zainab and others looked on.

"Dr. Kabir, you are right. But her body is totally not responding to anything. How can we make her brain respond all of a sudden??" asked Dr. Mehra.

"Maybe hearing familiar voices??" asked Kabir while Dr. Mehra thought about it, "Haven't we seen cases, where similar patients' brains get stimulated with their loved ones and closed ones next to them?? Hearing their voice?? It's just that her brain needs a stimulus!!"

"Abhi, he is right!" said Rashid and Dr. Mehra looked at him, "We can deal with this psychiatrically. Even while unconscious, a person's subconscious mind will be always awake. We can try stimulating her brain in that way!!"

"Hmmm...you both have a point. Emotions prove to be a better medicine at times. Well, I shall check in with her condition and let you know." Saying so, Dr. Mehra went back in the ICU and Zainab was praying in tears, with Dilshaad consoling her.

The friends after discussing something came to Asad who was standing emotionless, over there.

"Asad, don't worry!! Nothing will happen to Zoya!!" consoled Ayaan, and added, "We all are going to the opposite mazaar and we shall pray whole heartedly for Zoya and we are sure Allah will listen to our prayers!! Just have faith!!"

Asad didn't respond anything, while Imraan too said, "Anything urgent, just give us a call. We are there, opposite only. Okay?"

Saying so, all the friends left from there.

Dr. Mehra came out and said, "Yes. You all can come in now!!"

Zainab and Dilshaad rushed inside, while Rashid and Kabir too were about to go, while they saw Asad still standing there only.

"Asad, come in beta!!" said Kabir, while Asad didn't tell anything.

"Asad, you are very important to be there with Zoya, Come!!" requested Rashid.

"No...I can't see her like that...Please don't force me..." said Asad with tears filling his eyes. Kabir and Rashid looked at each other, and decided not to force Asad much and went inside, while Asad stood in tears.

"You need not have given me such a big punishment Zoya!!" said Asad in tears, closing his eyes.

Inside the ICU, Zainab was broken to find Zoya in such a state and rushed next to her.

"Zoya!!!! My child!!! Look, we all have come to meet you. Open your eyes and look at me dear!!" cried Zainab caressing Zoya's face, while Zoya was not responding to it only, while Zainab added, "See, your Dilshaad Aunt has come, you like her so much right?? See, she has come, talk to her!!"

Dilshaad too cried looking at Zoya, while Kabir and Rashid too stood by Zoya's side.

"Zoya, my child, if you were angry with Ammi and you wanted to punish me, you could have given me poison and killed me right??" cried Zainab, "Why did you do such an act and hurt yourself Zoya?? What would I do if something happens to you Zoya??"

Kabir was looking at Zainab, while she continued, "I know my child, Ammi was so bad to you and so merciless to you, she didn't listen to anything what you said, Ammi is very bad. You do one thing; you wake up and punish Ammi. Don't talk to her for some days, or give some other punishment, but not like this Zoya!!! Please open your eyes my child!!!"

Dilshaad tried consoling Zainab, while Zainab looked at Dilshaad, "You know Dilshaad, while Zoya was young, and if I don't get her something she likes, she will go to her room, lie down under the bed and not talk to me. And then when I go and tell her Ammi is wrong, punish her and take her little hand and beat on my cheek, she will start smiling."

Dilshaad cried hearing it and Rashid and Kabir too looked at an emotionless Zoya.

Zainab looked at Zoya, "See, now too I am telling you, Ammi is very bad..." Zainab took Zoya's hand and beat with her hand on her own cheeks, "Look at me now Zoya!!! Get up and smile at Ammi, please my dear!!!"

Saying so, Zainab broke into tears, and Rashid signaled Dilshaad to take her away.

Dilshaad made Zainab stand up and Zainab cried on Dilshaad' shoulders.

"Zoya!!" called out Kabir, "I know I am not that close to you my child. But still, I am telling you. I have got you in my life after years Zoya. I have not even seen you born, and having seen you just days back, I don't want to lose you too. Please open your eyes!!"

Zoya was still not having any reaction in her, while Dr. Mehra looked at the EEG and the pulse was too weak.

Dr. Mehra came to Rashid and Kabir and said, "I think both her mind and body has decided not to come back. This isn't working and her condition is helpless. She is not even responding to her mother and father's voice. Who else can stimulate her now??"

"Asad!!" said Zainab, and everyone looked at her.

"I am sure she will respond to Asad's voice!! Please ask Asad to talk to Zoya!! Please ask Asad to come. My child will respond to him!!!" said Zainab with a sense of hope in her face.

Asad was sitting outside, caressing Zoya's name tattoo which he had done on his chest and was recalling Zoya's last words before she went unconscious. Just the Kabir and Rashid came to him.

"Asad!! Please come in and talk to Zoya!!" requested Rashid, while Asad looked at them panicked.

"What happened Sir??" asked Asad in a tensed tone.

"Zoya isn't responding to anyone of us" said Kabir, "But Zainab feels it will definitely work with you next to her. Just speak to her Asad!! Come in!!"

Asad was in tears hearing it, while Rashid and Kabir comforted him and asked him to visit Zoya.

Asad opened the door and saw Zoya in the bed with her oxygen mask fitted, and being given trips. His heart wrenched looking at her in that state. Kabir kept a comforting hand on Asad's shoulder and Asad walked to Zoya and sat at the chair next to her and looked at her.

"Zoyaa!!" called out Asad in a low tone, "Enough of your drama. Get up now!!"

Everyone looked at Asad with a confused look, while Asad looked at them.

"You don't know about her" said Asad looking at them, "She always does such drama with me, you know?? This is not new of her to do this" Asad took her hand in his and said looking at her, "I still remember the prank you played with all our friends at Lonavala to accept my love for you. You fooled me that day right, with a similar suicide drama??"

Asada asked smiling along with his flowing tears, while Dilshaad and Rashid were hearing to it with a sad face. Zoya was still not having any reaction to it.

"And then, when you were about to leave me and go to London, in order to stay back here, you did another drama by falling unconscious right?? Now too, I know you are doing another drama, to make me apologize to you. It's right yeah??" asked Asad in tears and looked at others, "You all don't worry. She is acting; she will get up in some time. I know it!!"

Everyone just looked at Zoya wishing that only if Asad said was true and Zoya gets up, but was sad inside looking at Asad too.

"You know what Zoya??" asked Asad caressing her hand which was in his hands, "My Ammi was talking to me just now. She was telling me, you hurt Zoya a lot, so I am going to take her with me and go. I argued very strongly with her, Zoya. I said whatever anger Zoya has in me, she is not heartless like you and Abbu, to leave me all alone and come to you both. I said her that you will wake up and give me two tight slaps asking how I could agree to leave you and go, but wouldn't go with her. I said her strongly Zoya!!"

Zainab was heartbroken to hear it and so were the others.

"I said my Ammi that she left me all alone in this world, taking my Abbu too along with her, being so selfish" said Asad holding back his tears, "But I know my Zoya is not that heartless. How much ever anger she has with me, she wouldn't leave me and go as she knows...she knows I can't live without her..."

Asad held her hand close to his face and cried, "You can't leave me and go and I won't let you to!! I don't have anyone in this world other than you Zoya...please don't give me such a punishment...show my Ammi that you are not heartless like her and you wouldn't leave me like her and my Abbu...please...don't punish me like this...please..."

Meanwhile, all the friends were praying in the mazaar.

"Ya Allah!!" prayed Ayaan, "We have all come here today to pray for our friend Zoya!! Zoya and Asad have gone through a lot of tests with respect to their love, and when everything got sorted out finally, they faced another huge test. Please do not punish them both anymore, and save Zoya!! Get Asad, his Zoya back to him!! You are the most powerful, and Your mercy can definitely save her!!! Please have mercy on them Allah!!!"

As Ayaan was praying, a holy cloth flew from somewhere and fell on his face. Ayaan opened his eyes and saw the cloth and looked around. He was elated thinking it as a sign from God and prayed thanking God.

All of them got done with praying, and Ayaan said about the incident which happened some time back.

"I am sure now, Zoya will be alright!!" said Tanveer smiling, "Allah Himself has given the sign!!"

Back in the ICU, Asad was crying on Zoya's hand with closed eyes, while Dr. Mehra called out to Rashid.

"Rashid!!" whispered Dr. Mehra, "Look!!"

Dr. Mehra pointed out to Zoya and Kabir, Zainab and Dilshaad too looked at Zoya seeing that. They were all stunned to see that sight.

Rashid kept his hand on Asad's shoulder and caked out to him, "Asad, look at her!!"

Asad opened his eyes, wiped his tears and looked at Zoya and was pleasantly shocked to see tears flowing from Zoya's eyes. He saw the EEG and saw spikes arising in her pulse.

"She is responding!!! The voice reaching her subconscious mind is reaching her brain too and she has started to respond!!" said Dr. Mehra with a sense of hope and everyone was happy to hear it. Asad too looked at Zoya and kissed her hand.

"Dr. Kabir, thank you for your timely suggestion!!" thanked Dr. Mehra, "You were right. Some cures can be done by human emotions rather than medical treatment, and guess Asad's presence and his voice has made its magic."

Kabir smiled hearing it and Zainab too caressed Zoya's face happily.

"Now it's easy to bring her back to senses. She is out of danger now!!" said Dr. Mehra and all thanked God hearing it.

Asad stood up and came to Dr. Mehra, and requested, "Dr. Mehra, would you let me be Zoya's doctor in-charge, if you don't have any objections??"

Dr. Mehra looked at Rashid hearing it, and Asad continued, "If my 2 minutes of presence has brought a change in Zoya, I am very sure, that my presence with her the entire time would definitely bring her back to normal very soon. I won't even sleep till she opens her eyes. Would you please let me take her in-charge??"

"Well...Asad, it's not an issue assigning you as her in-charge, but this is a neurology case and I am supposed to deal with this case..." hesitated Dr. Mehra.

"Come on Abhi!!" said Rashid, "Let Asad be with her and moreover even he is a doctor; just that his specialization is different. You just come for an observation at times, and let him handle her. I am sure; Zoya will get well soon as per Asad's thought."

"Alright!! Asad, you can only take over this!!" said Dr. Mehra and Asad thanked him.

Rashid requested all of them to leave from there, comforting them that Asad would take care of Zoya now. All of them left from the ICU, while Asad checked the trips bottle and Zoya's EEG and sat next to Zoya, caressing her face.

All the friends had reached there and they came up to Kabir who was sitting outside.

"Uncle, how is Zoya now?? Where is Asad??" asked Farhaan.

Kabir narrated everything that happened in the ICU and all of them were overwhelmed hearing it.

"Thank God!!! Ayaan, our prayers haven't gone unanswered!!" said Humeira smiling, while Ayaan too nodded happily.

"So, Asad is taking in-charge of Zoya??" asked Imraan.

"Yeah, we are sure she will open her eyes soon!!" said Kabir with a smile.

"Uncle, where is Dilshaad Ma'am and Rashid Sir??" asked Tanveer.

"They have gone to get Zoya's reports and study over it" answered Kabir.

"Well, can we meet Zoya??" asked Nikhat.

"Dr. Mehra has asked to leave Zoya alone for some time and let her not feel any disturbance for a while. Guess we can meet her after a few hours" said Kabir.

"Fine. We shall wait" said Nikhat and added, "Guys, lets meet Rashid Sir and Dilshaad Ma'am, and come back."

They took leave from Kabir, and walked off from there, while Kabir sat at the row of chairs, with Zainab seated on the other edge.

Zainab was recalling how Zoya didn't react to anyone of their voice, and how Asad's voice reached her mind abruptly.

"I never understood my child only!!" said Zainab staring at the wall opposite and Kabir looked at her, hearing her speak.

"Being in such an unconscious state and being in such a condition that her body is not cooperating to any medicines, if her brain has responded to Asad's voice, how much love she must be having for him!! The love between them is that deep, that their subconscious minds can speak to each other!" said Zainab, while Kabir silently kept hearing it.

"And, how insane and insensitive of me to try to separate these two souls from each other, just because of my misconception. They both showed to me the depth of their love, and I will unite them both as per their wish, by organizing a grand wedding!! I will fulfill my child's wish; her heart's wish!!" said Zainab smiling, wiping her tears.

Kabir too smiled slightly hearing it and got up to go, when Zainab asked, "Can I ask you something Kabir??"

Kabir stopped hearing it and Zainab got up from her place and went to Kabir.

"Would you be able to forgive me at any point of your life??" asked Zainab with tear-filled eyes and Kabir looked at her.

"At least for the sake of Zoya?? I don't want to keep her away from the people who are supposed to be with her, anymore. Would you forgive me for that at least??" asked Zainab holding his hand.

Kabir removed her hand from his hand and walked forward, while Zainab sat down in tears. Kabir looked her from a distance and wiped his tears off and kept looking at her.

Meanwhile it was night, and Asad was sitting with Zoya looking at her only without even batting his eyelid. He was recalling all the moments they shared with each other since the first day they met.

(Dil Ibadat in Background)

Asad caressed her face and said, "So much adamant you are, haan?? Till how long are you planning to sleep like this??"

There was no reaction from Zoya, while Asad continued, "You know what Zoya, during the days you were with me, I knew that I loved you. I could always feel that. But the feeling I am experiencing right now, is somewhat different."

Asad sat on the side of Zoya's bed and bent down next to her, looking at her, "The fear that I might lose you forever, the moment when I came to know your condition was critical, the pain my heart experienced when you fell on my arms and went unconscious, that was the moment I realized that what I had all this while was just a part of love."

Asad kept caressing her hair and said, "What I am experiencing right now is the actual love I have for you!! The fact that your heart responded to me, the deep soulful connection we have even when you are not in senses, that is love!! My heart has got the habit of beating for you and now it wouldn't beat if you go away from me!!"

Asad moved closer to Zoya and looked at her with tears in his eyes and he smiled slightly, "Open your eyes Zoya!!! My heart has skipped its beats and will only resume beating till it meets yours!! Enough of punishing me and you!! It's time for you to come back to me!! Come back to your Asad!!"

Asad kissed Zoya on her forehead and he stayed like that for a minute and could feel Zoya's heartbeats along with his. As he was feeling his love's heartbeats, he failed to notice Zoya's fingers move slightly.

He sat at the chair nearby and held Zoya's hand and kept his head down on the bed and closed his eyes.

As Asad was laying his head down caressing Zoya's hand, he felt something moving in his hair.

"Ass..ad!!!"

Asad opened his eyes abruptly hearing it, and his heart beats raced faster. Tears rushed down his anxious face and he slowly lifted his head and turned his face to look at Zoya.

He sensed Zoya's hand touching his head with slight trembles, and looked at Zoya who was looking at him with slightly open eyes with a smile, with tears in her eyes. Asad couldn't believe what he was seeing and at the same time didn't want to know that it was lie too.

"Zo...Zoyaa!!!" said Asad in a low tone.

Zoya moved her hand slowly to Asad's cheek and wiped his tears. Asad held her hand and sat on the bed next to her and cupped her face and kissed her on her forehead and cheeks and looked at her smiling with tears flowing continuously.

Zoya removed her oxygen mask slowly with her other hand and blinked her eyes, signaling Asad to come near. Asad moved close to her.

"Mr. Badtameez..." whispered Zoya, "Taking advantage and...misbehaving with me...in this state??"

Asad smiled hearing it and cupped her face and said, "Miss Attitude, I can't help it...I love doing Badtameezi with you...my Miss London!!"

They both smiled hearing it and Asad brought his forehead to hers and both of them looked at each other's eyes and smiled with teary eyes.

It's been a month and Asad-Zoya's wedding celebrations are going on in a grand manner with all the friends working together for it.

Asad tells Zoya, "Now since, you have known all the truth between your Ammi and Abbu, I think it's your duty now to get them back together. That would be the biggest wedding gift we can give ourselves!!"

Zoya too nods her head and gives an assuring smile at him.

At Zoya's mehendi night, Asad ties Zoya's mouth and takes her up to the terrace, and sits with Zoya, with her slanting on Asad's chest and looking at the starlit sky, and having a romantic time, while all the friends including Dilshaad and Rashid are standing behind them giggling.

So, how was this update friends?? 😊 Even though emotional at start, I guess I ended it in a lovely scene... 😳 So, today I have made up to the title of this FF with Asad and Zoya proving that their heart beats for each other!! ❤️ How was the soul talk of Asad to Zoya, the Mazaar sequence and Zoya's reaction to Asad?? So Zoya had no other go, other than waking up to her love's call, her Asad!! ❤️ So, now what do you think will happen next?? As things have turned back to normal for Asad and Zoya and with their wedding preparations going on, will Kabir accept Zainab back in his life??
