Hello everyone!!!😃 😃 Sorry for the delay, I am really busy these days with few short courses and such and could hardly take time to type updates. Today I decided to update this as this FF is coming to an end very soon. So here is the 40th update ofthis FF and hope you enjoy reading!! 😊
Part 40:
Everything was going on pretty well in the hospital with all the activities of the doctors and their life going pretty well.
Dilshaad was checking the daily log sheet of the doctors.
"Well done Tanveer. Your performance is really good these weeks" complimented Dilshaad looking at Tanveer's log sheets, while Tanveer smiled hearing it.
"Well..." said Dilshaad looking at everyone and searching, "Where are Asad and Zoya?"
"They have gone to airport Ma'am. You forgot?" asked Imraan.
"Ohhh!!" said Dilshaad tapping her forehead, "My sister is coming and I myself forgot."
"Because Ma'am is on some other dreams these days yeah??" asked Ayaan winking at Humeira, while Dilshaad looked at Ayaan.
"What dreams Ayaan?" asked Humeira smiling.
"Wedding dreams...Rashid Sir..." said Ayaan, and Dilshaad came to him and twisted his ear, and Ayaan started screaming and all others stated laughing.
"Too much naughty you are getting these days haan??" asked Dilshaad mockingly and left to her cabin, while others too resumed with their work.
While at the airport, Asad and Zoya were waiting at the arrivals and Asad spotted Zainab coming towards them. They both waved their hands at her and Zainab too came smiling at them.
"Ammiii!!!!" exclaimed Zoya and went to Zainab and hugged her. Asad too came to them both.
"How are you beta??" asked Zainab kissing on Zoya's forehead.
"I am very fine Ammi" said Zoya smiling at her.
"How are you Ammi??" asked Asad, and Zainab greeted Asad too with a warm hug.
"I am very much fine Asad. Missed you both a lot!!" said Zainab and Asad and Zoya smiled at each other.
"So, we will leave??" asked Zainab.
"Zoya, you take Ammi in your car. I will come in a taxi" said Asad.
"Taxi?? Why can't we go together??" asked Zainab confused.
"No Ammi. The thing is even Asad's uncle is arriving today from Boston. He will be coming in some time" replied Zoya.
"Ohh, Asad's uncle is also coming now?? So, why don't we too stay back and meet him and go Zoya?" asked Zainab and Zoya looked at Asad.
"No need Ammi. You must be really tired after a long journey. You both go home. We shall all meet tomorrow out somewhere. He was supposed to reach earlier, but it's taking time. Don't know how much more time will he take. So it's better you both leave now." Asad said and Zoya too agreed with it.
"Alright. So, see you and your uncle tomorrow. Khuda Hafiz!!" Zainab said and Zoya took her baggage and walked out with Zainab.
Asad was standing and looking at them going. Zoya turned back and gave a flying kiss at Asad and Asad caught it with hand and brushed his hand on his lips and smiled blushingly at her. Zoya too smiled and walked out.
Just then. Asad felt a hand on his shoulder, and Asad turned back and found his uncle Kabir smiling at him.
"Uncle!!!" exclaimed Asad and turned back abruptly at Zoya and Zainab.
"Zoyaaa!!!!" called out Asad loudly, but they had gone too far and walked out without hearing Asad.
"What happened??" asked Kabir looking at the exit.
"Just now Zoya and her Ammi left. These much time I thought you would be here and Zoya was waiting to meet you. But her Ammi reached before you and I asked them to leave thinking you might take more time. Or else you both could have met now itself. Didn't your flight reach before the London flight?? What were you doing this much time??" asked Asad impatiently.
"Asad, what do I do?? The baggage took a lot of time to arrive and I had to wait for it. There was some maintenance work going on." Kabir replied while Asad looked out angrily.
"My dear Asad, what's the issue now? We are anyways going to meet them tomorrow yeah?? So relax!!" said Kabir and held Asad's shoulders and said, "Won't even give a hug to your uncle??"
Hearing it, Asad hugged his uncle and they both headed off outside the airport.
It was night time, and all the friends had gathered at the beach, along with Rashid and Dilshaad.
Imraan and Tanveer came with ice cream for all, and all of them gathered around a camp-fire.
"So, what plans tomorrow??" asked Ayaan to Asad, peeling off the wrap of Humeira's ice cream.
"Well, tomorrow my uncle and Zoya's Ammi are meeting for lunch along with Dilshaad Ma'am and they shall finalize...our marriage!!" said Asad and smiled at Zoya, who too smiled at him happily.
"Finally!! After so much struggles, we have come to this day, right Dilshaad??" asked Rashid.
"Of course Rashid!! Right from the start, Asad and Zoya had so much hurdles and they overcame everything with so much courage. So, this is a reward to their hard work" said Dilshaad patting Zoya's cheek.
"And what about the other plans?? Even your both wedding would be finalized yeah??" Humeira asked to Dilshaad teasingly and Dilshaad blushed hearing it, and looked at Rashid.
"Rashid Sir, now not any more late!! You both have to get married the next day after Asad and Zoya's marriage. And we all will be conducting that marriage!!" Ayaan said and everyone clapped hearing it.
"Yes Ma'am. I can't tell in words the amount of contribution you did for our marriage. So, your marriage is entirely our responsibility." Asad said and Zoya nodded at Dilshaad.
"Thanks Asad. It's my pleasure. And what about you both?? When are you planning to get married??" asked Dilshaad to Ayaan and Humeira.
"Dad is planning to get us married in 1 or 2 months. Mostly it might be after your marriage only Ma'am" said Ayaan to Dilshaad.
"Woww!!! That's amazing!!" exclaimed Tanveer, "That means we are going to have a series of celebrations!!"
All the happy talks were going on while Nikhat was looking at Farhaan, who was making sand castles.
"Guess I can speak to Farhaan about what's in my mind now" thought Nikhat in her mind and took out her mobile and send a message to Farhaan's mobile. She thought again, "Well, today with everyone over here, it won't be the perfect situation to open up my heart to him. I shall wait till tomorrow, and tell it at the hospital somewhere alone."
It was next morning, and Farhaan was walking tensely to the doctors' station.
"Don't know why Ammi wants me to attend weddings and such too now. I am anyways going there in some days for vacation yeah?? Ammi and her adamancy!!" Farhaan was ranting and came to the doctors' station and saw that no one was there. He went to change from his doctor's coat and then took all his belongings to leave.
"Shall inform Rashid Sir and..." Farhaan stopped looking at Nikhat's file.
"I thought to ask Nikhat one last time her decision before I leave for vacation. But now unexpectedly I have to leave early and I don't have time to talk to her right now too." Farhaan was thinking and he took out his mobile. He tried sending a message but his phone was having a message delivery issue.
"What do I do now??" Being irritated, Farhaan was thinking how to leave a message for Nikhat, when suddenly he thought of something and he took out his pen and a plain paper note and wrote in it:
"Nikhat,
I am leaving to Delhi today for vacation. I haven't yet received a reply from you. And this would be the last time I would be asking this and bothering you. My flight is at 12: 30 PM. If you come to airport to send me off, I would consider it as a yes from you. Or else, I would painfully accept your rejection too. I would be waiting for you expectantly!!!

Farhaan folded the note and kept it in the middle of the sheets in Nikhat's medical file, and left the station.
Meanwhile, Zoya was in the restaurant with Zainab and Dilshaad.
"When is he coming Zoya?" asked Zainab.
"Half an hour Ammi. Asad just now messaged me. They are stuck at the traffic it seems." said Zoya with a restless look.
"So, discussing with Asad's uncle, we can fix a date for the engagement and marriage, what say Baaji??" asked Dilshaad.
"Why not?? He has waited long enough for that. I don't want him to wait any more" said Zainab and looked at a restless Zoya and said her, "Zoya, you waited for years, can't wait for half an hour??"
Zoya smiled hearing it, and they waited for Asad and Kabir to arrive.
Back at the hospital, in the doctors' station, Imraan and Ayaan walked in.
"It was such a packed day yeah??" asked Ayaan removing off his doctor coat.
"I know. I had the most amount of work today." Imraan said heaving a sigh removing his coat.
"Wait! Wait! You had the most amount of work?? Really?? Then I was swatting flies in the general ward??" asked Ayaan staring at Imraan.
"Of course you did that only. What were you doing the general ward?? Discussing about the latest pop albums." Imraan said and Tanveer laughed hearing it.
Just then Nikhat and Humeira too came in. Nikhat took out her hand bag and was looking for her purse, while her file was still lying by the side.
"You stop laughing and ask your husband to stay in his limits Mrs. Tanveer Imraan Sheikh!!" said Ayaan staring at her.
"What do I do Ayaan??" asked Tanveer laughing, "Your own fiance is quiet without telling anything. So what is the harm if I laugh??"
Hearing it, Ayaan stared at Humeira and pulled her towards him, "Help me nah?? Support me and speak!!"
"Well Ayaan...to be honest, Imraan only worked more than you!!" Humeira said in a hesitant tone.
Imraan and Tanveer laughed hearing it and Ayaan getting pissed off took Nikhat s file which was lying over there and started beating Imraan. In the fight, Farhaan's note slipped inside Nikhat's handbag, while Nikhat without noticing it went back of Ayaan to get her file.
"Stop it guys!!! Are you both kids yet??" asked Nikhat, snatching her file from Ayaan's hand.
"Ask him to stop teasing me then!!" Ayaan said with an angry face.
"Ya Allah!! Perfect kiddos!!" Tanveer exclaimed and added, "Listen guys, we have to be back soon after lunch. As Asad, Zoya and Farhaan too are not there, our duties are increased today. Come!!"
They all walked to the cafeteria, while Nikhat was walking a bit back of them thinking, "Look at my bad luck!! Yesterday I was thinking I would talk to Farhaan. But he left today without even telling me a word. Maybe its destined that my love be hidden only!!"
Back at the airport, Farhaan got the boarding call to Delhi flight, but he was waiting to see if Nikhat would arrive expectantly. The airport authority came to Farhaan and said that he has to board the flight.
Farhaan was thinking, "Alright Nikhat!! I got your answer!! "
With a heavy heart, Farhaan proceeded to board the flight.
Back at the restaurant, Zoya got a message from Asad.
"Ammi, Asad has come. I will go outside and receive his uncle" said a delighted Zoya and she went out, and Dilshaad and Zainab smiled at her happiness.
Zoya went out and saw Asad and his uncle. She went to his uncle with an excited face, at the same time an unexplainable happiness.
"Hi Uncle!!!" greeted Zoya with a smile.
"Hi beta!!" He greeted back at her. Kabir felt a sudden affection towards Zoya as soon as he saw her.
"So finally I have met you haan??" asked Kabir patting Zoya's cheek.
"Yes uncle!! I am so glad that you are here. And now I can't wait anymore. Please come in and talk to my Ammi and bring an end to all our efforts" said Zoya looking at Asad, who smiled at her back.
"Of course, I have come for that only right. Come, let's go in" said Asad's uncle and the three of them walked in.
Asad, Zoya and Kabir reached the table where Dilshaad and Zainab were waiting.
"Ammi!!" called out Zoya to Zainab, "Meet Asad's uncle, Mr. Kabir!!"
Zainab and Dilshaad looked at him, and sprang up from their seats in a jerk and gave a shocking expression at him, and so was Kabir, looking at Zainab.
"Uncle, this is my Ammi Zainab and her sister, Dilshaad" said Zoya happily to Kabir, while he was stunned hearing it.
"Zainab??" muttered Kabir.
"Kabir??" said Zainab in a low tone.
There was a minute of silence over there, as Kabir and Zainab couldn't take their stunned gaze of the other. Dilshaad was in a state of shock as she knew things have gone out of control, for Asad and Zoya.
"I get it now!!! So you planned all this, yeah??" Zainab asked Kabir while her eyes burnt with rage.
Asad and Zoya didn't understand anything and looked at each other.
"Aren't you ashamed that your own daughter is calling you Uncle' and you can't even recognize who is she???" asked Zainab to Kabir, shocking Asad and Zoya to the core.
Zoya was shocked to the extreme hearing it and she recalled the words from her Ammi's mouth again unbelievably and looked at Kabir perplexed.
"What??" asked Asad in a low tone and looked at Kabir, who just looked down without answering to it.
"Ammi!!!" exclaimed Zoya and went to Zainab, "Ammi, what did you say just now?? This is...this is my..."
"No Zoya!!! This is not your Abbu!!! This man lost that status the day he left us!!!" Zainab said in an angry tone, her eyes glistening with tears in anger.
The people around their table were witnessing the scene with confused faces.
"Ammi...I don't understand..." Asad started to go to Zainab when she signaled him to stop. Asad stopped immediately and Zoya looked at Zainab.
"Not a word from you!!!!" Zainab said Asad sternly and including Asad, everyone was shocked hearing it.
"Ammi??" asked Asad and Zainab said in a louder tone, "Don't call me Ammi hereafter!!!"
Asad was startled to hear it, and Zoya looked at Zainab trying to intervene, and looked at Dilshaad for help. Dilshaad just shook her head and kept her hand on Zoya's shoulder.
"What do you think?? I didn't understand anything now too?? If I don't get alert now too, there would not be a bigger fool than me. So, this was your entire plan to get this man with along with my daughter and snatch her away from me right??" asked Asad while he gave a denying look, and Kabir too was wondering what she was meaning.
Zainab walked to Kabir, "You wanted to take revenge on me for keeping you away from your daughter. And you used a very good way to do that; by sending him!!!" said Zainab pointing at Asad, while Asad was just stunned to hear all those allegations.
"But don't even think you will succeed in it!!! That will happen only if I this marriage happens yeah?? This marriage will never happen!!!" Zainan said, shattering Asad and Zoya to bits.
"Ammi???" asked Zoya in a louder tone and came to Zainab, "Ammi, why are you punishing Asad for this??"
"Zoya, I know what I am doing!! And I know what is right!! Asad's chapter is closed in your life forever!!! Dilshaad, let's leave!!" Saying so, Zainab started walking out dragging Zoya by her hand, while Asad blocked her way.
"Ammi..." Asad stopped telling it and continued, "Aunty please!! Please believe me!! I don't even understand what you are talking about. I am really unaware of all these!! Please trust me!! I really love Zoya a lot, and I can't imagine a life without her!! And I know it's the same with Zoya as well. Please don't separate us!!"
Zoya was feeling heartbroken hearing Asad's plea and so was Dilshaad. Kabir too was looking at Asad with a sad face, but was helpless thinking what to do at that moment to convince Zainab.
Zainab brushing away Asad's plea tried to proceed forward, when Asad knelt down with folded hands and teary eyes.
"Aunty, I beg you!!! Please do not do this!!! I haven't done any mistake or cheating except for loving Zoya the most in this world!! Please give me a chance!! Please Aunty!!!"
Brushing away, Asad's words, Zainab moved forward with Zoya.
"Zainab, listen!!!" Kabir tried protesting, but Zainab just moved forward with Zoya, and Dilshaad looked at Asad with tears, and caressed his hair, while he was still kneeling down.
Asad looked up at Dilshaad with a helpless face, while Dilshaad just walked off unable to see Asad in that state, taking a glance at Kabir.
Asad turned and saw a crying Zoya going off from his sight, who was moving forward looking at Asad extending her hand.
Zoya finally diminished from Asad's sight and Asad was just kneeling down and looking out with a blank face with dried up tears on his face. Kabir came to Asad and kept his hand on Asad's shoulder.
"Asad, control yourself beta. We shall do something..." Kabir was consoling him, when Asad moved Kabir's hand and stood up. Asad just walked out ignoring Kabir's calls, and got out of the place. It was raining heavily and Asad just got in an auto and left. Kabir too ran out and went back of Asad's auto calling out to him. Scared looking at Asad, Kabir went to the car and drove back of the auto.
Asad stopped at a place, and walked far, and Kabir too got out from his car and realized that Asad had come to the graveyard.
Asad went to his parents' graves and looked at them silently while he was getting drenched in the heavy rain. Kabir stood at a distance looking at Asad.
"She is gone Ammi!!" said Asad looking at his Ammi's grave, "She is gone!!! My Zoya is gone!!"
"She went away taking away all my happiness from me Abbu!!" Asad said moving to his Abbu's grave.
Asad then sat down next to his Ammi's grave, and said, "Why didn't you take me along with you both Ammi?? You didn't like me?? I was 3 when you both left me. Not even one of you thought to stay back for me. You just left me alone and are sleeping here together peacefully. And today, another person who meant everything to me, my Zoya, she too left me. Her Ammi snatched her away from me for something which I am totally unaware of. Why is fate always cruel with me?? Why does no one want to stay in my life Ammi?? Why do all just come in my life as a dream and vanish away soon??"
Kabir was listening to all this emotionally.
"I have never seen your face Ammi. But I always saw a mother in my Zoya. Now she is also gone. Whom will I share my grief with now??" asked Asad with his voice breaking, "Whose lap will I lie down and cry my heart out?? I don't have anyone Ammi!!!" said Asad crying and caressed his Ammi's grave, "Other than hugging your grave and crying, I don't have an option Ammi!!! Please accept me in your arms and console me Ammi!! Please Ammi!!!" (Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin in background)
Asad hugged his Ammi's grave and cried his heart out, while Kabir stood there in tears looking at Asad's emotional outburst.
Kabir thought to himself, "No Asad, I can't see you like this; that too because of me. I am the reason for Zoya moving off your life, and so I will only be the reason for her to come back to you as well!!!" Kabir wiped off his tears, and vowed, "I won't let the ego which Zainab has towards me, to destroy my children's love. This is the fight between me and Zainab and I won't let her win this time, be it I have to break all my relations with her!! This is my vow taken on Asad's parents!!"
Precap: Zainab decides to get Zoya married in 10 days and Zoya vehemently denies to it, and Zainab understands that only Asad can get Zoya agree to this and decides to use the one wish Asad had agreed to fulfill for her in this situation. Meanwhile, Farhaan accepts to get married with the girl his parents had chosen for him and is taken aback looking at Zoya's photo as his would-be-bride. Zoya runs out of her home at midnight and goes to Asad in a decision to get married with him and move out of the country.
So how was this update friends?? 😊 Hope it was a very emotional update. And what about the precap?? Hope the precap is even more interesting. So what is going to happen now?? Will Asad accept Zoya who has come to live with him leaving behind her Ammi?? And will Farhaan and Zoya' s marriage take place?? What is Nikhat going to do now?? Fight for her love, or accept this too as her ill fate?? Will Kabir fulfill his vow of uniting Asad and Zoya?? To know all these answers do stay tuned to this FF.
