Hi everyone!!! So, here I am with the update and it is a pure AsYalicious update!! Hope you all love it!! 😊

Part 37:

It was night time and Zainab was arranging dishes in the dining table, when she saw Asad entering in.

"Areyy...come in beta" said Zainab walking towards him, "I was waiting for you only this much time."

Asad came in with an expressionless face and stood in front of Zainab.

"Uhh...well...I guess you would have known about the marriage proposal I had made by now" said Zainab.

"Hmmm...yeah. I came to speak about that only" said Asad and turned back and saw Dilshaad and Zoya entering inside. Zainab too looked at them and noticed that all were gloomy and tensed.

"What happened to you all?? Why do you all look worried??" asked Zainab.

"I shall tell the reason Ma'am" said Asad.

Zainab gave a questioning look at him.

"Ma'am, you might be wondering why I am calling you Ma'am all of a sudden instead of phuphi. I need to make some confessions to you and I want you to listen to it completely, before arriving at a conclusion" said Asad; while Zoya and Dilshaad were tensed thinking what would be consequence of this confession.

"Ma'am" said Asad walking away from her, "You came to India from London, for a particular reason right?? That reason being, your daughter loving some guy in her college??"

Saying so, Asad caught Zoya's hand, clutched it tight and looked at Zainab.

"That guy is none other than me!!" revealed Asad, "I am Asad Ahmed Khan who loves your daughter and whom your daughter too is in love with!!"

Zainab gace a quizzical look hearing it and looked at him holding Zoya's hands, and looked at Zoya who gave a tensed look at her filled with fear.

Asad walked forward with Zoya and stood in front of Zainab.

"Yes, I am that very same Asad Ahmed Khan from whom you wanted to keep your daughter away" said Asad, "And you might be angry now at the drama which I had played with you these much days. I don't deny it and I do accept that it was wrong to hide my identity and fool you these much days. But you only forced me to do that."

Zainab looked at Asad and was observing all his words keenly with a serious face.

"Yes Ma'am. You only obliged me to do these things" said Asad, "Right from childhood I was taught to deal everything honestly without cheating anyone. But I didn't have an option other than this Armaan drama. I mean, when you came to know your daughter loves me, without a second thought, without even enquiring how am I and who am I, you declared I would be a bad guy. How could you do that??"

Dilshaad was tensed, but at the same time agreed with Asad's every single word.

"But I wanted to prove myself to you and I was very sure that I could never do that as Asad. So I thought about a way to prove myself to you and make you realize that not all guys are bad as you assume. And I had one option in front of me, appearing as a different person to you, as Armaan Hussain!!"

Zainab looked down hearing it with an angry face and looked back again at him.

"And I was successful too. You started understanding me and my character very well. And let me tell you something Ma'am, except for my identity, everything else was my reality including the respect I have for you" said Asad and he added, "I could have easily manipulated your daughter and provoked her to elope with me and would have started to live a life with her now. But neither I nor Zoya are ready for that. Zoya's happiness is with you more than me, and my happiness is in hers more than mine."

Zoya looked at Asad hearing that and smiled emotionally.

"And the person to whom you spoke today was not my dad, but our professor Dr. Rashid. I do not have parents; I lost them when I was 3 years old. I was brought up by my uncle only, and he has his hospital in America. I stay in my home with all my friends; the same home from where you took Zoya to the airport" said Asad as Zainab looked at him.

"Well..." said Zainab, "may I know why you..." Asad interrupted Zainab's sentence in the middle and said, "Why I am telling all this now??"

Zainab looked at him and nodded slightly agreeing to that.

"Because I want you to accept me as Asad Ahmed Khan and not Armaan Hussain" said Asad and kept Zoya's hand in Zainab's hand, while Zoya and Zainab looked at him, "You agreed to give this hand to me, when you thought I was Armaan. And it's not necessary to continue this drama hereafter. Now, after you came to know I am Asad, I don't know if you are ready to give her hand to me. But how much ever years you take to accept me, I shall wait till that, because I have vowed on your daughter, that I will take her in my life, only when you give her willingly to me."

Dilshaad looked at Zainab and expected her to tell something, while Zoya too was looking at Zainab teary-eyed.

"Excuse me" said Asad and went upstairs, as all of them looked on. After some time, Asad came down with his bags and Zoya was seeing that tensely.

"Hereafter I don't have any reason to stay here, and it won't be fair too" said Asad, "I shall be waiting for your decision Ma'am. Allah Hafiz!!"

Asad looked at Zoya who was looking at him with tears flowing across her cheeks and nodding at him telling not to go. Asad just smiled at her and started walking out, and he stopped looking at Dilshaad on the way.

He turned back at Zainab, "And one more thing Ma'am, whatever I did, it was entirely my plan. Dilshaad Ma'am just helped me to win your heart and she didn't intend to cheat you or misuse your trust in her. So, please don't be angry at her."

Dilshaad smiled emotionally at Asad hearing it, and Asad continued walking to the door.

"Ammi!!" cried Zoya looking at Asad walking off, "Ammi, tell him to stop, please!!! Ammi, please!! Asad!!!"

Zainab just stood silently looking at him go, while Dilshaad came to Zoya seeing her plight, and comforted Zoya.

"Aunty, tell Ammi to call Asad back, please!!" cried Zoya, "Ammi, please Ammi, please!!!"

"Wait!!!" commanded Zainab and Asad stopped hearing it, and turned at her.

"You took all your belongings with you, but here is something more, which you are leaving behind" said Zainab, while Asad, Zoya and Dilshaad were confused.

Zainab went to her bag at the table and took out a ring box, and looked at Asad.

"I actually made two rings for you and Zoya, I mean, Armaan and Zoya, with the names engraved in it, to make them exchange these once Armaan accepts my proposal" said Zainab and kept one box inside, "Since Armaan's story has ended, why must this ring alone be here?? Take this with you and leave!!"

Zoya was shattered, as she had a mild expectation when Zainab called Asad, that she called him to accept him. Asad came to her with a disappointed face and took the ring box from her and smiled at her briefly and turned back to go.

"You won't see the ring once??" asked Zainab, "At least see how much fake trust you had built in me, that I had made such an expensive ring for you."

Asad took a brief look at Zainab, and opened the ring box and saw a platinum ring inside.

"It's nice. Thanks and I am sorry!" said Asad to Zainab and he closed the box, and continued to move out, when he stopped suddenly and opened the box again and took the ring in his hand and saw the name keenly and was taken aback to find "Asad" engraved in it.

In a shock, he turned at Zainab, showed the ring to her and gave a questioning surprised look at her, while Zainab walked towards him.

"You played around with me these much days" said Zainab, "Can't I act at least for some time?? I mean, you definitely deserved a punishment for cheating me, and I guess I gave you the punishment too."

Asad still didn't understand what Zainab was talking about, and Zoya and Dilshaad too didn't understand what was going on.

"I know you all are confused right now" said Zainab, "Don't worry; I shall clear all the confusions."

Zainab went to the center and looked at them all and said, "You know something?? I know this truth before Asad came and confessed itself."

Everyone looked at each other with shocked looks and looked at Zainab.

"Yes!! I knew this only some time back. Clearly specifying, when I called your fake' dad Mr. Waseem Hussain!!"

Asad was confused hearing that and looked at her with doubts.

"You were very clever in your plan of making Dr. Rashid as Armaan's father, and he too acted brilliantly. But you left a small loophole at the end; he forgot to cut the call!!" said Zainab and Dilshaad remembered how Rashid just kept the phone on the table after ending his conversation with Zainab. Asad and Zoya too looked at each other hearing it.

"I was on the line and I heard the entire convo which took place after that. And that time itself, I came to know about your entire drama" said Zainab looking at Asad. Asad and Zoya looked down avoiding eye contact with her.

Zainab walked to Asad and stood in front of him, "You know one more thing?? You won my heart that time itself!! That moment I decided that none other than you can keep my daughter happy and prove as a better son-in-law for me!!"

Asad and Zoya were elated in joy and Dilshaad too was overjoyed hearing it.

"Ammi!!! Are you serious??" asked a surprised Zoya.

"Haan. I actually had these plain rings ready for you both two days back only, but didn't engrave the names" said Zainab, "After knowing this, I made them engrave Asad' and Zoya' in it and thought to give a pleasant surprise to you both."

Zoya hugged Zainab emotionally and Zainab too comforted her lovingly and gave a peck on her forehead. She then came to Asad, who was still in the shock of Zainab accepting him,

"Your honesty conquered my heart Asad!!" said Zainab as she took Zoya's hand and gave it to Asad, while they both looked at her happily, "This is what you wanted right?? Here you go, my daughter is yours!!"

Asad and Zoya held their hands and looked at each other and smiled happily.

"Thank you so much Ammi!!! I love you!!!' said Zoya crying and hugged her and Zainab extended her hand to Asad too for a hug. He too joined the embrace and Zainab hugged them both affectionately and smiled at Dilshaad who was emotionally struck with happiness looking at that happy moment.

They broke from their hug and Asad intertwined his hands together at Zainab.

"Thank you so much Ma'am!!!" said Asad in an emotional tone.

"Ma'am?? Call me Ammi!!" said Zainab, while Asad was emotional hearing it and nodded his head.

Zainab then took both the rings in her hand and gave to Asad and Zoya.

"Okay!! So let the ring exchange take place" said Zainab, while Asad and Zoya looked at the rings and looked at each other. Their eyes were filled with tears, which were glistening along their smile. Zoya extended her hand to Asad and Dilshaad acme near Zainab to witness the moment.

Asad caught her hand and slipped the ring on Zoya's finger, while Dilshaad and Zainab clapped at it and Zoya wiped her tears which were flowing across her cheeks. Dilshaad then asked Zoya to slip the ring and Asad extended his hand to her and Zoya repeated the same and they both looked at each other and smiled happily on the victory of their love and looked at Zainab who too smiled at them both.

Just then the driver came inside to Zainab and sad, "Ma'am Sahab, car is ready, shall I keep your luggage in??"

"Luggage??" asked Zoya and Asad too asked, "You are going somewhere??"

"Haan beta. Back to London!!" said Zainab, surprising everyone over there.

"London?? Why Baaji?? Why all of a sudden??" asked Dilshaad.

"No Dilshaad. This is the right decision. My heart is overwhelmed with happiness now" said Zainab and looked at Zoya, "My daughter is in safe hands, actually in safer hands than mine. I don't have any more work left here now. So it's better I leave now."

"But, just now you accepted our love and without spending much time..." said Asad when Zainab came to him.

"I accepted right??" asked Zainab "What else do you want??"

"But, why do you have to go Ammi??" asked Zoya in a disappointed tone.

"Zoya" said Zainab cupping her face, "You know we have our hospital there right?? I have to take care of that too. And moreover I am not going forever or such. Once you both complete your course, I will come back and conduct your marriage. Okay??"

Zoya nodded her head slightly, with a sad face.

"Dilshaad" called out Zainab, "Till that, you have to take care of my children, just like you did before too. Okay??"

"Sure Baaji. You need not say that" said Dilshaad.

Just then the servant came with her bags and Zainab took leave from all and went to the car.

"Ammi, we shall come to send you off" said Asad and Zainab agreed to it. They all entered inside and the car sped off to the airport.

Back in the friends' home, everyone was decorating the home with lights and balloons and the girls were busy preparing sweets in the kitchen.

"I can't believe that Asad and Zoya are coming back here!!" said Nikhat while wiping the vessels.

"I know!!" exclaimed Tanveer, "Everything seems to be a dream. Thanks to Allah that their love has finally succeeded. Asad proved that honesty and truth always triumphs!!"

"Now we all are gonna be back in this home and have a blast as usual!!" cheered Humeira, "How much I missed the 8 of us together!!"

"Girls!!! Asad and Zoya are coming!! Come out!!" shouted Imraan and the girls rushed to the door.

Asad and Zoya reached in Asad's bike and they saw the decorations and the welcome back board for them. They both smiled and went to their friends who greeted them with warm hugs.

"How much we missed you here yaar!!!!" said Ayaan as he hugged Asad tightly.

"Let's compensate for all the fun we missed these much days dude" said Imraan and Asad gave a hi-five back to him. The girls too greeted Zoya happily and they took them inside for the magnificent dinner they had prepared for them that night.

It was night and after everyone went to sleep, Asad was standing by the lake side, looking at the waters and the moon's reflection on it. He suddenly turned to his right and saw Zoya tip-toeing at him.

"Asad!!!" said Zoya with a puppy face, "How did you find out that I was coming??"

"Your heart beats Zoya!!" said Asad, "I can distinguish your heart beats amidst anything. After all it beats for me right??"

Zoya smiled blushingly hearing it and Asad extended his hand signaling Zoya to come to him and Zoya too walked to him and side hugged him and looked at the waters.

Zoya looked at the ring in her hand and took Asad's hand too with the ring and extended it forward.

"Asad, everything seems to be a dream come true right?? Right from the day we met at the airport, our flight argument, meeting in college, being classmates, falling in love, almost happening separation, struggle for our love...I mean all these have come to this point right??" said Zoya showing the rings.

"It's all because it was destined to happen Zoya. We have proved that true love never fails" said Asad as he faced Zoya and cupped her face and brought it closer to him, "After all we are a single soul dwelling in tow bodies right??"

Their foreheads met and they closed their eyes living that moment and drowning in that beautiful feeling.

Asad then went backward and extended his hand to her and Zoya looked at him.

"Mind a dance with me honey??" asked Asad. His hair and shirt was fluttering in that windy night.

"Anything you wish for baby!!" replied Zoya, and she extended her hand and her dupatta fluttered over Asad's face and Asad pulled it down. They danced for Tu Hi Mera' passionately and happily on account of celebrating that day and enjoyed the peace their hearts, romancing each other without any disruptions or tensions after a long period.

After their dance, Asad took her near the lake and they Asad sat down putting his legs forward in the water and made Zoya sit in front of him. Zoya too extended her legs in water near Asad's legs and leaned back along his chest, while Asad hugged her in the front and Zoya too caught his hands and they closed their eyes enjoying that moment.

"I love you Zoya!!" said Asad with closed eyes.

"I love you too Asad!!" said back Zoya and they both found solace in that intimate, beautiful moment along with the cool night breeze.

Precap: It was the eve of the college fest and all of them were indulged in constant rehearsals the whole day and night and had equal fun too. Asad calls up his uncle Kabir, who is in US through video chat and introduces Zoya to him. Kabir and Zoya instantly develop a very strong bond and Kabir tells Asad that his choice can never get wrong and wishes them all the best and promises them that he too will be there when Zoya's mom comes back to India.

Well, as of now, Zainab has gone back to London and will be returning back after their course for conducting their marriage.
