Well, as much as I love QH1... I don't think I can ever love QH2 but yeah I don't really agree with what you consider as loopholes...

  • When Dilshaad raised Asad and Najma she was younger and had much more to go ahead with.. Now, she is old, she saw the brutal death of her entire family... her whole life burn down to ashes.. You do not expect her to be completely the same..
  • Bhopal is a modern city with modern educational and technological developments.. Asad and Najma were bound to be more educated and technologically advanced as compared to Sanam who was brought up in a village.. Also Zoya was born and brought up in New York.. And tech wiz is not a quality you get genetically, so there is no point of hoping that Sanam will be as much of a tech geek
  • As much as you want, a child's education is mostly dependent on the school.. Not even parents, let alone grandparents can do much about that.. You do not see fluent English speaking people in remote villages until they are sent out to the city.. Which Dilshaad could not afford!
  • Sanam definitely received the "Naive " genes from Zoya only... She was equally naive, if not more

Totally agree.

Tried watching QH2 every scene seems repetitive of Gul's old shows.

And add to the loopies

We spent never ending epis where Rashids will was where he gave everthing to Rashid

Why is this being overlooked

If you don't want any reminisces from past then rename show

Hi Rakshaanra,

They are not overlooking.. i think they normally work month to month basis.. the Episode tracks are decided for 10-15 episode bas.. and then they work on interwoving the next track.. this has become the norm of industry.. so after 400 episodes its only the viewer who remembers its episode by episode. even actors do not remember all their shots in daily shows.. imagine Anikita lokhande remembering from epi 1 what happened in PR in detaill.. i don't think so.. So CVs too can overlook the details.. regarding renaming show.. Here again its a market trend that they are following a trend that works. They have set up a brand name and they have various things tied to this name.. the time slot even though when the show starts is given to the PH..after the show goes on air it becomes the shows responsibility to pull viewers and earn it slot fees.. now if they wish to start a new show in this lot.. PH will not be allowed by thechannel they will again have to vie for it with 100 of new show in waiting..encasing on the brand name of Qubool hai is easier.. also their are dedicated viewers for whom its a continuation and not S1 or S2.. people who do not go blogging on each episode..for whom the other channels are not playing anything else interesting.

what i want to say here is that.. in their goal to make Surbhi act a completely different character than Zoya they have somehow missed the whole point tht Sanam is supposed to be her daughter too.. and that is the weakest move on their part for their lead protagonist.. i want to give them chance as to how it plays out.

Hi Shilpita,
Welcome to the forum...

QH 1 was not perfect..and personally for me, the mitwas in the beginning looked cliched..and the Rabba Veys in ipkknd too...(Hope U watched that.)

What has attracted me to the show is the storyline and the execution.

I bet we were all able to identify much better with an ipad sporting Zoya...Sanam is not that interesting, compared to Zoya...or is she?

The idea is to create someone diametrically opposite to the male lead...Aahil has more of Zoya characterestics...he goes several steps further from 'yeh mere kapde hai, mere character nahi'...he is unapologetic about the choices he makes...even though it may be shocking for most of us...

So..Sanam has to be opposite of all that he is...that is all...

I am liking the parallel tracks in QH 2 much better than QH1...The sibling bonds too...

QH1 looked very artificial ..even upto the meteor scene..

Cliched romantic moments...the junoons and mitwas look ill timed until the leads actually start feeling something...😆

On the whole, QH2 looks very promising...Hope U'll get to enjoy it...and stick around too...

I agree... No show is without its fair share of bloopers and cringe worthy moments.. and the eyelocks in all shows are rather like that .. I stopped watching IPKKND due to too many eyelocks actually.. 😆

But QH1 became artificial after the entry of Tanveer.. her elaborate plans and pushing Zoya off cliff etc were just too mediocre.. As i said i loved the story uptill 150 episodes.. then its obvious from the quality of story and execution from ajmer track onwards that it went downhill and diluted the characters of Leads for TRP.. The whole track of Ajmer was awfully handled.. Zoya calls Asad on cell which he left in bhopal.. Tanveer hears the voice mail and reachs ajmer to be rid of Zoya in like 1 hour..Even if she gets a flight , the average checkin Security check takes 2 hours.. so did she sprout wings. Zoya is saved by a Chadar that flew from Asad's hands.. A old woman is kept captive in her own house under beds and no one finds her.. That house must have filthy floors as no one bothers to clean under beds.

But inspite all this... The character sketch of the QH1 were so much believeable.

I totally agree they wanted to make Sanam as very different from Ahil.. Rle reversal of sorts.. but the circumstances for them could have been much better.. I am sure , I will keep watching more out of curiosity as both the leads now are putting their best in their roles... But sometimes i wonder why its so difficult for Makers to keep it interesting and sensible at the same time.
