Part 7
Even though court had set zoya free from charges court had ordered zoya to be taken regularly for psychiatric counselling & therapy once in a week. Asad had signed the responsibility as he knows no one else will be there for zoya. Even though Sameera wants to take zoya's responsibilities farhaan won't allow her. Razia also. Sameera was revealed. As asad promised zoya is set free & he also took zoya's responsibility. She really wanted to thank asad & also she wanted to meet zoya. It had been 3 months that zoya was away from them that too in jail. But razia's physical condition is too unwell & Sameera was consoling razia after hearing the court session. Farhaan was still fuming with angry. He really couldn't believe his abbu's murderer his worst enemy is set free.
Zoya was still in shock. After finishing all the court proceedings asad went near zoya.
Asad: zoya
All of a sudden zoya started crying. Even though asad was startled at first he understood zoya needs to pour out all her emotions as she had been through a lot in the past 3 months. Asad holded zoya towards him. She needed comfort. She needs emotional support.
Asad: zoya I kept my word. You are free now & I didn't bring out the truth.
Zoya: is it correct? I mean I deserve the punishment of a murder. Truth is that it happened with my hands.
Asad: it's correct zoya. You didn't do purposefully. It was all his fault. In most of the cases we try to protect truth but in few cases we try to bring justice by covering up truth. Same happened in your case too zoya. It was your deserved justice zoya.
Zoya calm down a bit.
It was then farhaan came near them. His anger was visible in his face. Both asad & zoya was scared about his reactions. Farhaan is unaware of the truth & from his pov it's justified to get angry.
Farhaan: mr. Asad Ahmed khan you might have been able to get this murderer out of charges but you can't save her from me. I swear from now on wards I will make her life hell. Also yours.
Zoya had tears. Why has fate been so cruel to her? Farhaan bhaijaan was more like a father figure to her. He always pampered her like a princess. It was he who supported her to proceed with her degree in electrical engineering. When she was young he used to take care of her more than ammi. He was possessive about her. He never likes someone caring her more than him. Even after growing up zoya always wears frocks. It was farhaan who made razia to accept her likes. Now it is the same bhaijaan who is in front of her & considering her as the worst enemy in the world.
Asad could understand farhaan's emotions. So as zoya's.
Asad: mr.siddiqi I can understand your feelings. See by hurting zoya you will never be able to get back your abbu. You will only spoil your life.
Farhaan: this girl already spoiled my life. By murdering my abbu. Now you have got her out of bars. But that doesn't means that she can have a happy life. I won't allow that. Also this girl is not allowed in my house. Not only in my house but also in front of my family.
Farhaan left from there angrily.
By now zoya was crying badly. Asad hold her & led towards his car.
Even on the way she was crying. Asad didn't know how to console her.
Zoya was brought back to senses when she saw a beautiful big mansion. Zoya looked at asad.
Asad: this is my house zoya. You can't got to sm. You don't have any relatives. I can't sent you to any hostel. Farhaan is highly influential. He is now in a furious mood. Your safety is more important. Here my ammi & abbu is also there. Come zoya.
Zoya went along with asad.
It was dilshad who opened the door. Asad had informed about there arrival before starting from court. Dilshad welcomed her whole heartedly. Even though dilshad & rashid is unaware of the truth they know that asad won't do anything which is wrong. Zoya was feeling awkward. Asad & dilshad could sense that. Dilshad gave her tea. Even tough hesitantly she had tea. Dilshad lead her to her room. It was a beautiful room full of blue colour clouds. Bed was spreaded with white bed sheets.
Dilshad: beta you take rest for some time. If you need anything ask me. Don't hesitate.
Zoya: sure phupi.
Dilshad: phupi?
Zoya: it came like that. Can I call you phupi?
Dilshad: of course beta. You can call me phupi.
Dilshad left. Zoya sat on the bed. She heard some one knocking on the door. She went & opened it. It was asad.
Asad: woh actually zoya your baggage is with me.
Zoya looked at him.
Asad: I had gone to Mumbai because I needed your stuffs for case. NikhAt had packed most of your stuffs & gave it me as she was not sure what I need. So your cloths are also there.
Zoya: thank you.
Asad: zoya I am in the opposite room if you need something you can call me.
Zoya nodded her head.
Zoya opened her bag. Most of cloths were inside. She took a pink & white night ware. She went to washroom to take bath. While bathing she remembered her days in jail. How she used to take bath in the common bathroom & help in cooking with other prisoners. Unknowingly she had tears. After bathing she performed her namaaz. Even in jail she never missed her namaaz. In all her prayers she asked forgiveness. After all she had taken a life from her hands. It's a big sin. What ever may be the reason it's a sin.
After her namaaz she read one of her holy book. She always used to read whenever she is sad.
In the night
Once when rashid came dilshad set the table for dinner. Asad went & called zoya for dinner. Zoya was in no mood to have dinner. But asad forced her. She greeted rashid when she met him on the dining table.
It's after 3 months she is having normal food. Still she was in no mood to have it. She was playing with her food. Lost in thoughts. Also she had tears. All the three noticed zoya.
Asad remembered every one saying about zoya. How talkative, pleasant & bubbly she is. But the zoya in front of him looks like some one else.
Dilshad: beta if you are not hungry then no need to force yourself. You go & sleep beta.
Zoya: thank you phupi.
Zoya left from the dining area.
Asad: ammi she is still in a shell.
Rashid: beta so much happened in her life in this 3 months. It's natural that she will be affected. It will take time for her to come back in normal life.
When asad took zoya with him to KV from court asad had messaged Sameera. Sameera was revealed. She couldn't contact asad since she was with farhaan & razia. Once after dinner Sameera managed to call asad without anyone's notice. Asad informed about zoya's state.
Asad: Sameera zoya is in a shell. We should bring her out of it. Otherwise she will go mad one day. What are her likes & dislikes?
Sameera: asad she likes to watch cricket & movies. Also she stays with her iPad 24* 7. Playing games in it & browsing net etc. she likes to cook mostly with ammi by chit chatting. Also she is very studious. Expert in computer & electronic stuffs. She used to experiment all kind of crazy stuffs.
Asad smiled.
Sameera: asad I don't know how to thank you.
Asad: Sameera why are you being formal?
Sameera: I want to see zoya.
Asad: I don't insist as farhaan is still furious. It may create a problem for you.
Sameera know. But still she had to find a way.
Sleep was far away from zoya. Finally she got up. She went out of her room. She saw a balcony with a garden. She went & sat in the garden.
She don't how long she sat there & when she started crying. She came back into senses when she felt someone's hand on her shoulders. She turned & saw asad.
Asad sat near her in the bench. He holded her hands.
Asad: I know it's difficulty. But still let it go zoya. At least you should try zoya.
Zoya: I know. I will try.
Asad: it's very late zoya. You should go & sleep.
Asad got up. Also zoya. When they reached inside asad turned towards her room. He felt a tug in his hands. He turned & saw zoya holding his hands.
Zoya: thank you mr.khan! Thanks for everything.
