Almost the entire episode today belonged to Saahil and a piece of paper, which played spoilsport or was the catalyst in Sanam's pardaphash. Lets trace the epic face-off through the journey of the piece of paper
Paper begins journey - Sanam desperate to get out of this mad house, gets another job and writes down the address in a peice of paper.
Paper lost in Ahil's docu- Sanam, being zoya's daughter, loses the address and it lands amongst Ahil's documents.
Paper leads to meeting - The address, Sanam and Ahil, all 3 land in Ahil's room. Ahil almost sees Sanam, but power cut, helps Sanam escape from the room to living room. Fair enough, artificial lights cannot do justice to the face-off that the paper has planned. Their face-off has to be under moonlight with fire as witness.
Paper saw Ahil going from real to fake - When hil saw Sanam, he was non-plussed. The eyes which arrested him, the girl who aroused unexplained feelings was Ms. Dhabewaali - wry amusement at the irony. He, Ahil Raza Ibhrahim has promised to break her, and here she was, in his house, to take revenge. Till now the real Ahil was in forefront. And then the fake Ahil took over. How dare she come to destroy him? Anger, hatred, revenge playing in his mind. KVB was an absolute delight to watch.
Paper saw Sanam giving tit for tat- Push me to the limits and I'll cross it, was the message Sanam gave, loud and clear. When she realised that chuppan chuppai had ended, she braced herself for the face off. And what a face-off it was.
Her answering back with head held high, the tears strengthening her instead of weakening her, her patiently explaining why she was here. And then when accusations of revenge was hurled, the anger, the disgust at a man, who could'nt think beyond himself. There Mr. your job, returned without any thanks.
SJ, I've exhausted my adjectives appreciating this girl. But she was just just just outstanding.
The blowing off the flame,
The return back to pick the piece of paper
The throwing back of dupatta, touching Ahil, just lightly
The Explaining her POV without losing her cool
And the final reprimanding of Ahil, to speak respectfully, for she is no more his slave.
And the post will be incomplete without appreciating the CVs for a job well done. Really well done. Sorely missed Ahil calling her Ms. Dhabewaali.
