This just a rant of what I think, you guys might have a different opinion. But I seriously feel like they killed the beauty of this show and just made it a senseless show. When the show originally started off it was different and unique, it depicted a Muslim girl growing up abroad and conflicts she faces with her culture. That was something real and meaningful. I'm sure a lot of us are growing up abroad and can relate to it more or less. It showed the search for a lost father the desire to reconnect with old ties. But right now the show just seems so stupid. How does Billi get ownership of Asad and Zoya's home? I'm pretty sure there should have been some kind of regulation which would have given Asad's mom ownership to the wealth her son and husband achieved. Is it that easy to manipulate into someone else's wealth? On top of it, why is BIlli even having the chance to be free from jail after committed so many murders in one shot. I'm pretty positive that should've been a life sentence. And what's up with Sanam not even knowing English, I understand they don't live in a city anymore but I'm pretty sure she could have learned English and received good education. Why the big backward step in the leap, Asad was raised by a single parent but had education and everything. Yet in 20 something leap they go backwards and don't have the girl properly educated? I'm a fan of Ahil as actor but he just doesn't fit into the show the way Asad did. I feel like the sensibility and connection the show first had when it started is gone, now its like any other Indian drama taking leaps here and there and bringing the same character back as a daughter/son or grandchild They should have given Sanam the same qualifications as her father not make her seem like someone who's hopeless with lack of education, someone who is willing to work as a cook/maid just for money. They should have made her as dominating and will-powered as Asad. I feel like that would have been nice to see. I feel like the show just took the whole objective of a woman household to an extreme level. A woman household can be just as strong as a household with a man. I feel like the leap just went backwards the show first started off by advancing the life of a modern girl but now its going backward into the girl just not being as "qualified" as a male. I just don't get for the big difference in two generations shouldn't Sanam be more ahead since she is the proceeding generation?

You are absolutely right in saying that QH lost its edge, it is no more the unique story that we all loved, QH 2 so far looks like a very predictable old formulae story. However, it is too early to judge the story as CVs are still in foundation stage.
Billi might have got scotch free of SM murders due to destruction of evidence by fire. Also, Dilshad never made a formal complain about killing and went in to hiding with kids, cops might have closed the case as a fire accident with 4 bodies found and rest missing. Despite this, she being released early based on good behavior is not convinicing as she is arrested for Rashid's murder and ran away from jail. Therefore, cops have her finger prints and should be able to link her to Rashid murder and jail break when she got arrested for Aahil's dad murder and it shows her as repeat offender.

We know that SM is under Billi's control but we are not sure yet if Asad and Gaffy's property is also under Billi's control. There is a possibility whoever took over Asad and Gaffy property might have put SM for sale and Billi's last hubby might have purchased it. Lets wait and watch if they will bring in Seher as owner of Asad and Gaffy's business.

Sanam is able to understand English but have trouble with fluent speech due to lack of opportunity to speak in English in a village setting. Not everyone will be interested in becoming Architect, Engineer or Doctor right. Sanam was running Dhaba from a young age and want to expand her business in that field and it shows that she is strong and a selfmade women. Sanam may have some non professional degree but her interest is cooking and related business I.e dhaba, I don't find it regressive but just circumstantial and individual interest. No job is big or small, she is doing what she is good at to feed her family, even it was shown that Asad helped his mother in stitching etc to make ends meet until he got big with construction business when he truned 25 years or so. If Anwar mishap didn't happen, may be Sanam would have expanded her dhaba business and got rich in couple of years, she is just 22 years remember.
