Yes Asad's painful past was not only his but his past included Saira's painful past too

I don't think Asad was the reason behind her suicide; it was the pain, the suffering, the betrayal by his father to him and his ammi which he had gone through as a child which made him doubt her the insecurities of Asad led her to her death; Asad realized he was at fault about him doubting Saira Jab jaago tab savera; So the next time when Zoya gives him the good news he will not make the same mistake

Zoya's grandfather nahi Zoya's father was Asad's sort of foster father; his abujaani

Zoya thought he married her because of the ehsaan that Gafur did on Asad and Asad's louyalty towards Gafur but actually he married her so he could be a father to a child{He had a selfish motive}

Yes Asad may have given up hope but not Zoya; She wants to have Asad's baby
