Part 8:

As the night progressed, zoya went to sleep due to exhaustion, asad was restless in the chair.. the day event replayed in his mind... his love for zoya just grew bigger and bigger.. and he promised to bring the smile back in her face.. and fill her life with all the happiness. He held her hand and he moved close and dropped a kiss on the finger.. and he thanked the god for giving this angel as his life partner.. he looked back at the time they bickered with each other non stop..

and how slowly things turned around for them.. he cant even think of a minute with out her... now his world starting revolving around her too... He never know when she became a integral part of his small family.. where her presence brought the joy and hope in their lifes.. the stupid sharayies.. non stop bakwas... her love for pizza... everything brought a smile to his face... he pulled chair closure to the bed.. and closed his eyes.

He felt someone pulling his hands.. and he heard a murmur.. ammi.. ammi.. he opened to see zoya uttering the words in her sleep.. it was not a nightmare... her talk through the sleep... asad was heart broken seeing her in that state.. he went close to her face.. and he caressed her face... And whispered.. I am here zoya.. ur asad is here..

She pulled the hands and slept on that... and after sometime.. asad shifted zoya a little and slept on the bed with her.. she moved and placed her head on his chest and hugged him by his waist on slept.. he just caressed her head for sometime.. and went to sleep holding her close to his heart.

As the morning dawned, asad opened his eyes.. to see zoya sleeping on his chest.. and smiled, he slowly tried to extract him for her.. but he did disturb her.. and she opened her eyes... and felt something hard under her face.. she looked up to see asad and realized her position.. and she pulled herself up and had a shy smile on her face.. and blush crept on her cheeks... as she came into senses. The whole day came crashing on her.. and her smile vanished.. and her heart constricted...

Asad followed her face.. and he went close to her and took her in a hug... I am here zoya.. always... he whispered..

Yeah... I know.. she said to his heart...

He took her face and dried her tears.. and told her to freshen up.. and left the room..

Asad went to his room, and after finishing his morning activities, he came out wearing a white kurta and saw his mom preparing breakfast.. dilshad looked up at his son in white... and was confused.. whom is he mourning .. and also what is happened in asya life.. which they are not sharing with her.. her eyes asked him the question.. and he looked at zoya door which is still closed.. and he came close to his mom..

A: ammi.. I know you have a lot of question.. about the last 2 days.. but I don't have any answers for your question.. ammi..

D: why asad.. cant u share ur pain with me... u know sharing a pain.. reduces it.. cant u share with ur ammi..

A: I know ammi...but I cant.. bcoz I promised zoya so I wont.. please forgive me...

D: ok.. anyways I will ask zoya herself.. she will tell me anyways.. I cant see u both like this...

A: ammi.. please don't ask her ammi... it will break her ... but please be for her.. she needs u more now.. just be there for her...

D: ok I wont ask her.. and she turned and asked najma to call zoya for breakfast... and returned saying.. zoya is not hungry will eat later...

Dilshad looked at asad keeping the roti back in the plate... she got up and placed food in the plate and she asked asad to finish breakfast.. as she will make sure zoya eats..

She knocked at the door and entered, only to see zoya in a prayer mat in pure white.. and tears pouring in her eyes.. she finished her prayers and looked up to see her poophi standing there with plate..

Dilshad placed the plate in the table and came close to zoya.. zoya got up from her place and went to her and dilshad took zoya in a hug...

D: cry.. cry.. your heart out beta.. she said... and zoya cried for her mom.. in the arms of her ammi.. dilshad patted her hair.. and just said... it is ok.. everything happen according to god will.. but it happen only for our good.. he may test us.. but he will be there for us...

Asad and najma stood at the door, and watched the duo... najma hugged asad.. with tears in her eyes.. and asad patted her...

After sometime zoya calmed down.. and felt lot lighter now...he took her ammi.. but HE did gave her 2 more.. one is her appi... And now is Dilshad...

D: zoya eat something...

Z: poophi I am not feeling hungry..

D: no you should eat... health is important.. sit..i will feed you..

She made zoya sit in the bed.. and took the plate next to her.. and she looked around..

Z: poophi..

D: is there a towel...

Z yeah poophi here.. zoya gave the towel...

Dilshad spread the towel in zoya lap... as she looked at her.. she said..

D: you know ur OCD Ahmed khan.. if we spill a little we have to listen to his long boring lecture..

Z: yeah poophi.. AKDU.. and she smiled... which brought a slight smile on everyone faces. Dilshad fed zoya with her own hands.. and zoya obliged and finished the breakfast..

Z: thank you poophi.. for being there

D: zoya am I not your ammi...too..

Z: yeah poophi u my ammi too and she took dilshad for a hug..

Z: poophi.. can we keep prayer meet in the afternoon..

D: sure zoya..

Z: for my ammi..

D: you take rest now.. and I will do all the arrangement ok..

She placed zoya in the bed.. and caressed her cheeks and whispered.. I don't know what is bothering you and asad.. but one thing I know is we cant change the things that happened.. but only the what is going to happen... accept the past and try to move on towards the future.. ok..

As dilshad said future, zoya eyes went to door.. to see najma and asad standing there.. and whispered with a smile.. yes..

In the afternoon, they kept a prayer meeting and prayed for zoya mom soul to rest in peace. After the meeting is over zoya saw asad moving towards the door...

Z: Mr Khan...I am coming with you...

A: zoya..

Z: I want to be there..

Asad knows.. zoya wants the truth..as much as he wants... he nodded.. and both of them walked out of the house together.
