hai guys,

Part 6:

Zoya reached home around noon, and has to wait for tomorrow to come to any conclusion and too say she is confused, terrified and also hurt. Her mind played the outcome of the situation in her mind. If the test result is negative.. the mystery will continue.. and they have to find the person.. to know the truth.

If the result is positive.. she couldn't just digest it.. why her ammi was buried there... and what is Rashid connection to her ammi.. one thing she is sure was Rashid been never been to America, so whatever connection was that happened only in india... and who is this Rizwan sheikh... it says he is an NRI.. is he connected to his ammi... can he be my chachu.. my mom brother.. from whatever she came to know from zeenat is.. zeenat ammi.. and her ammi were best friends during college days. Ammi has only her brother, and her brother was married. Her father came to America for studies and they both fell in love and got married. Due to family emergencies he went back home with a promise to come for them. But he never came back.

Is Rashid really the killed my ammi and buried her to hide his crime.. can he be such a bad person.. her heart and mind were tearing her apart inside. If it is her ammi... will she bring justice to her mom.. but at what cost.. ??????

Asad Office:

He was just physically present.. his thoughts wandered on zoya and her face. He looked down on all the details they both had... and tried to find the missing link.. which zoya found . and he couldn't... he kept the details seperatedly.. the gudiya factory.. and about zoya past... couldn't come to any conclusion which will hurt zoya.. and desperately wanted to confront zoya the truth.. but don't want to force her.. she will share... if she wanted too.. but his thoughts lingered on.. how they have come close to each other. Though they were yet to spell the four letter word... to name their feelings.. but the feeling is there.. in both of them... for each other.. and it brought a tender smile and satisfaction on his face. He is home. Atlast.. with his zoya.

He wanted to call and check her, but he called his home to know.. how her mood is...

As soon as the phone rang, Dilshad picked up the phone..

D: hello

A: ammi.. it is me...asad..

There was an silence between them.. as the tension was there..

A: why the house is silent.. where is miss Farooqie...

D: ohh. She is in her room... she didn't came out even for lunch.. saying she is not hungry...

A: ohh.. allah fizz ammi...

She is not watching TV.. asad was shocked.. India VS Pakistan match is going on.. and Dhoni is playing.. and zoya is not watching... seventh wonder of the world... He chuckled... and on thinking back.. something is really wrong.. if not his musibet magnet will not this silent. He called it a day in his office and moved towards his home.

Zoya was confused.. and couldn't come to any conclusion.. she walked out into the hall, as she looked up, she saw dilshad doing her prayers in the hall. Looking at her, her faith in her love.. which left her 17 years back.. was amazing. She believed that Rashid is not a killer... bcoz of her love.. as she looked up, the door opened and asad entered the home. As he looked at her, a small smile came on his face. Zoya cherished that smile.. these small gesture of asad made her day.. if someone come with proof and tell her asad had killed someone.. she will not believe... bcoz he is her love.. her heart... and she knows ...HIM...

Now she understood the faith dilshad had... but does Rashid lived upto this love... and her thoughts confused... asad was standing infront of his room.. and looked at her and the changes in her face... something is eating her up.. and she is not...sharing it... all he wanted at that moment was to cheer her up...one thing that does is his music..

He changed and came to the hall, to see his 3 ladies sitting and switching channels.. and zoya still lost.. as he tuned his guitar, all 3 of them looked at him with surprise.. and slowly he started humming and then sang the song.. which was a moral support for him always... as he sang, his eyes looked at only one person and wanted to convey to her... I AM HERE FOR YOU NO MATTER WHAT... as he sang the whole family relished.. and it also melted the gap between the mother and son.. and asad hugged dilshad, and najma hugged zoya.. and their eyes locked at each other... for zoya.. this is her family.. and she will not do anything to hurt her family.. and she took a decision. Inside.. to protect this happy family of her.. from everything.. from her past and also from their past.

She gained the strength from her love . and the smile on her face.. was mission accomplished for asad. They had their dinner as one happy family.. with zoya pushing all the other thoughts aside and focused only on the present.

They all moved towards the respective room and called it a night. As the night progressed, zoya awoke in between only to see her hands arrested in asad who sat in a chair next to her bed and sleeping with legs on the attoman... to hold her and support her if she had nightmare... zoya couldn't ask for more.. she had no idea when he came.. but his presence filled her heart and mind.. and she moved slowly and made his hand as her pillow and slept peacefully. As the morning dawned asad opened his eyes only to feel zoya sleeping in his hands. He was happy that she didn't had a nightmare.. and slowly released his hands.. and then adjusted her covers... and with a mind of its own, his hand caressed her face and his face dropped down and placed a kiss on her forehead.. and he left the room.

Zoya was awake the minute he pulled his hands... and her heart overflowed with his love... and cherished the actions.

As they assembled for breakfast, zoya was nervously waiting for the DNA.. result.. and asad could read her... and looked at the way she watched the door from time to time.. and could see something is eating her...

As Najma and asad moved out, Dilshad went to market leaving zoya alone in the house. Around 10 am the guy from the hospital hand delivered the report to zoya.. she sat in her room.. and she opened it slowly.. the result is going to change her life...

And the result was positive... She was her ammi... and tears flowed in her eyes... it was flood... It poured out the longing she felt for her mom.. and also for her mom.. who met with such a end... who was denied even a proper burial...to rest her soul at peace.. with the almighty..all she could think was that.. right now..

She pushed herself to her feet and changed into pure white.. and she walked out of the KV.. and then she went to the hospital, and talked to person in charge and filled the formality and her mother . she cried looking at remains, and then with a strong heart, she made them place her in a burial box. The white cloth was covered over the remains as per the custom. She spoke with the Qazi saab, and he along with few others followed the ambulance to the burial ground.

As the door opened, the men with opened the back door.. and the qazi saab asked zoya. Who will do the final rituals...

I will do it... as the head turned they saw asad standing there infront of them..with his eyes looking at zoya.. questioned her...

Q: Jee.. app..

A: I am her son-in -law..

Q; teek hai..

Asad removed his coat and tie and he wore the white cap as he turned he saw a hand stretched it front of him.. and he placed his coat and tie in the outstretched hands.. and he shouldered the front side of the coffin as they moved inside the burial ground, where the final rituals were conducted and prayers were said.. for the soul to rest in peace.

Note:

I don't know much about the rituals.. just followed what was said in Internet... doesn't meant to hurt anyone sentiments.

Awww Asad is a sweetheart ! He sang and stayed with her at night so that she foesnt have nightmares and then he claimed himself as Zainab's 'son-in-law' ! 😳
