I don't know how this happened...but here is the update for his side of the story...Its purely fictional...and I am only able to update this as it was already half way written...but its not edited..so please excuse me on that!!!

So here you go peeps!!!

His story!!

He was back in his city after 2 long years, done with his MBA and ready to join his family business. Just a day old, he went to visit his school friends to the other end of the city. He was having a good time, and then he heard her.

His eyes followed the sound of the laughter and landed on a girl sitting behind a vehicle, animatedly talking with the older man driving. She took his breath away. He felt a sweet pain in his heart and there was no looking back.

Unashamed he asked his friends if they knew who she was. But no one even knew her name. Not knowing what to do.He grabbed his favorite bike, a graduation gift. He drove in the direction he saw her disappear. But the city ended in the next block. Where did she go then he wondered. Dejected he drove back to his friends and decided to let it go.

He couldn't sleep that night. Her beautiful face and her hearty laughter teased his dreams. He was restless, he had to find her.

And so it began. Every day he visited his friends to the other side of the city, driving back and forth for over an hour just in attempts of finding her, but in the 3 days he never saw her even once. It was frustrating him, and he was not known to be a patient guy.But he didn't have a choice. His friends were confused at his actions. He was usually a very self-contained guy, but the past 3 days had shown them a different side to him. So they decided to help.

Finally on the 4th day he saw her, driving past him on her 2 wheeler. He followed her not knowing what else to do.He needed to know where she lived.

An hour of following her around, he finally saw her home. And his life changed. That day he stood there, right across her house for 5 hours. He was adamant to see her once before he left and finally he saw her, out on her terrace sitting on her water tank and staring at the star filled sky. He smiled and drove off, only to spend his night laying on a make shift bed in the terrace and imitating her actions; staring at the stars. He wanted to know what she was thinking at that moment.

His routine revolved around hers.He knew, in just a matter of a week when she left home, where she went, who she met and what time she returned. His day only ended after he saw her on the terrace in her Disney clad shorts and tank tee staring at her stars. He, as his friend said had been hit hard with love and they knew, there was no going back from it. His only option was to get a yes from her.But that was impossible, when she didn't even know he existed. Here was a guy chasing a girl, who was completely oblivious of his presence.

He didn't know how to make her aware. This was all new to him. He was known to be a direct guy, and yet here he was sneaking behind her at every instance, acting like a frigging stalker.Chances were she would blow him off, knowing what he had been upto for the past 2 weeks.

And that's exactly what happened. His friends coaxed him to make his presence known, which he did.But in a manner that creeped her out. He followed her into a corner and stopped her.And before he could say anything, her expression said it all...It was the wrong move.Yes she knew who he was, but she also knew what he had been upto and that was not cool.

He cursed himself, spending the gap of 2 hours before she was done her classes, venting out his growing frustration in the gym..Everything about the situation was getting out of hand.He had managed to creep her out at the first face to face encounter.

Hell she was even more breathtaking upclose, making him groan in frustration. It was becoming unbearable, this flood of emotions that surged through his vein 24/7.

Over the next few days he was famously ignored, and it hurt.At first it was easy cos she wasn't aware, but now she knew he was around her and that pricked. But he didn't blame her, infact he appreciated her guts to walk out of a situation. He would have punched a guy to the ground had he been stalking a girl he knew. This was not right, but it was the only way. Matters of the heart, and its way to its destinations always messed up the brightest of minds. And he was just another victim of love.

And so it went on for over a month.Nothing but silent following around and annoyed galnces. No names, no hi's no getting to know each other. It was wooing going nowhere. He was treading on a path with no results yet. He had to get down and act fast.He needed to make a move.

He was a man on a mission and soon after collecting his valued contacts and resources, he had with him all the basics on the girl. Her name being the first one, making him smile as he said it out loud along with his name. Soon that would be a reality he promised. Then came the phone number, college info, etc etc. Things were looking up.She also knew, by now of his presence by her house, and more than once he had seen her turn back and steal a glance at him. Maybe it wasn't all bleak afterall. Maybe he had a chance. Not maybe he corrected. He had a chance and he would make them happen. She was meant to be his, and even her resistance wouldn't change his mind.

Step 2 Talk to her.

He sat in his office, where he merely spent 4 hours of his day when she was in college and punched in her number. He wasn't the nervous kinds, infact he was very fluent and confident in his conversations. But today he felt anxcious. He was to talk to her for the first time. He couldn't afford a second failure. That would be bad. That would cut down on his chances even more. So he had to make this right.

Hello came the voice from the other end.He shot up from the chair. Was that her ?he thought. That couldn't be her he questioned.

Hello he responded back.

Is that Zoya he asked meekly.

No I am the maid. I'll get her, and there was silence. He didn't get a chance to say anything, and in matter of a minute he heard the sweetest, the chirpiest hello, that effortlessly took his heartbeats for a ride.

Hey he managed to say. There was silence, that allowed acknowledgment to come visit. He knew she knew it was him. He waited for her to disconnect the phone. He was surprised when she didn't.

Hey she said again. Can I know who's calling? She feigned ignorance. He knew she knew it was him, and still she questioned who it was. Maybe she wanted a name??

Its me Asad, he managed to say, listening intently to the slightest to hitch in her breath.

I know,

You know what??

Who you are

How??

Just like you know

Oh.He didn't expect that answer. He was stumped.

Is there a reason why you called?? She asked curious.

I just wanted to talk to you

Regarding what?? A desire to pursue me, entertain your idle days with a new hobby and then let go when you've had enough???

He smiled at her directness. This girl was sassy and confident. He liked that.He liked that a lot.

Well that's expected, after all I've been acting like a useless good for nothing tapori...But I am sure you know I aint that...he countered confidently.

Arent you one of those...she smirked...

One of which Zoya...her name came out as a caress and he knew it hit home.He heard her breath hitch. He smiled. He did have an impact on her, slight as of now,but it would only grow into something more deep.He was sure of that. He would wait patiently until the day she fell madly in love with him and ran upto him and confessed her love for him. He would wait, till eternity, of that he was sure.

Come on you...

I have a name...he countered

I know.I am just not comfortable saying your name.

Well aren't you the perfect Indian wife material...He teased, who doesn't call her hubby by his name...

WHAT??? Ru kidding me...where did that come from?? Naam kya bataa diya...pati ban gaye...she snapped...

He laughed...he was trying to gauge her and now he knew, she was short tempered, and easily riled...

Relax, I am stating nothing but the truth, its meant to be Zoya, sooner or later.I am sure of it.

OMG...U have the balls to...

Of course I do...wouldn't make me a man otherwise huh...he continued teasing...He was loving riling her up.His heart was on cloud 9, he was talking to her, and just as he had predicted, it all came naturally.

WOW just wow...I think I am gonna hang up,

Sure Have a good day, as is you have to get ready to go to your dance class. I'll cya around Zoya and I will call you tomorrow, same time. Bye. He disconnected his phone as he heard her say she wouldn't pick up, but he knew she would. He just sighed and walked out of the office,he had 15 minutes to get to her home before she left for her class..He was a happy happy man.

She did pick up the next day and the day after and the one after that, and despite her valid, yet unnecessary resistance, she continued to talk to him and share her story and listen to his. He had never been happier, and everyone around him knew the reason behind him. There was hope after all, there was a possibility for the 2, and they could see it getting further than the 6 months of talking and following around. They could dream of their happily ever after. Now all they had to do was meet and take it from there.

They had been talking for over 2 months now, not every day, but whenever they could. He was always a patient listener and she was always an excited talker. They complimented each other well. Unkowingly, she was getting used to him, and ever since last week when his concern over her well being had popped up, courtesy his bad dream, things had started to become more than just superficial conversations. They were getting to know each other. So using that as the base, he asked her out, he asked her to meet him once and not say no. She resited, he persisted and they went about it for the next few days. The situation only ceased at her agreement to meet him.

They decided to meet at a caf.She made no promises and he didn't mind. He was a patient guy, only when it came to her and no matter what he was not quitting.

Dressed immaculately in his True religion Jeans and a snub polo tee, he made more then many heads turn in his direction, but his gaze was only focused on the Caf door, waiting for her to come and allow him to pursue her, to woo her officially and unabashedly.

He was early, she came on time, and no doubt she made him giddy and glad. She was a sight for sore eyes, soon to be only for his eyes and his eyes only. She walked to him, effortlessly in her skinny jeans and purple tee.It accentuated her petite figure and made almost wander off to lustful lands of desire, but he was quick to bring himself back to present.

She gave him a feeble smile. She seemed out of sorts and that didn't sit well with him. The girl he had been talking for the past few months was nothing but. I offered my hand for a hello, and she took it with hesitation. And the sparks that flew when they touched, were electric.she snapped back her hand and sat on the edge of her seat.It felt she didn't want to be here. Her energy bothered him and made him restless as well..This was going about the wrong direction and as soon as that acknowledgment hit him, she rejected him, told him to stop what he was doing, to let it go and move on.He should be focusing on better things in life and not wasting away on such frivolous acts. She said sorry and walked away, not turning back to look at him.Good she didn't cos she would have seen a totally different man, who was angry and confused. This was not how it was supposed to be. She had never proved his thoughts wrong. Even when he had argued with her friend if she would come up on the terrace. No this was not right.

He walked off and helet his anger take over. He got to a bar and drank his way to clarity. He got into a brawly to numb the internal pain, by hurting himself externally. And then he sank into the dark corners of his room and shut himself from the new world he had introduced himself to, with hopes of his ideal future, with HER.

He didn't go back after. He worked his ass out and hardly slept sober. He was never a drinker, and it seemed like he was making up for lost time.

Months went by and he avoided his heart. He knew he had promised to never let go,but he just needed to let go for a bit.He would have known her for over a year now.

Finally the phase phased off and he regained his senses. He realized where he was, what he had been doing and what he truly needed. His word of solemn promise came back to him and he knew he had to venture out on their path once again. He had to keep trying no matter what. She will come to him, he was sure.He would confess her love for him, he was sure. And he was also sure, she was missing him.

So he got off his bed and ran out to his bike...It was monsoon..and it was pouring like no tomorrow, but he didn't care.He had to see her, and he knew...it was raining for a reason. She would be upstairs...

SO he drove and made his way to his old spot and waited patiently for her, just like old times, but this time he wouldn't let go.He was here until he had her.

She listened to her thoughts and 15 minutes of him being there, she came up. He knew she knew he was around, cos she turned and stopped, staring in his direction and hesitating before walking off. He smiled, all that he had left here was still here. It was just waiting for him to pick it up and elevate it to the 7th heaven.

He raised his accelerator, his way of letting her know he was coming or going and drove off. He didn't need to escape anywhere tonight. He could feel it in his heart once again. It was meant to be.He just had to go back to doing what he had been doing. No matter what.Even the flood warning had nothing against him.He carried on with his old routine the next day and diligently, coursing his way through off road paths, made it to his destination. He smiled, cos it felt right. The rain and the beauty of a freshly glistened earth just gave him the right vibes for today. He was here and it felt right, nothing else mattered. He just sipped on his tea and waited to see her face..That would have been enough for today.

But it wasn't. Because more was making its way to him, running uninhibited in pouring rain, with no shoes or jacket on, in only her long tee and shorts, a roll of foil in her hands.

It felt like he was stuck in a vaccum and what he saw happen in front of him was taking its slow time to unravel. He knew it was her, coming his way but he couldn't react. He was rooted in his spot. Was it for real he questioned and right then she stopped dead center, in front of him.

It was for real, and here he was speechless, wordless, actionless and reactionless. He was still as a stone, looking at her, he soaking petite body, shivering, and nervous. She was nervous he could feel it and he didn't like it.Last time she was nervous she had rejected him even before giving him a chance. He didn't want that this time around. No that was not happening. His heart didn't object that thought and he relaxed. There was silence between them, but he didn't mind.He was busy enjoying looking into her eyes, seeing the kaleidoscope of emotions churning around. He knew, his heart knew, she was here, and she would forever be here, in front of him, through it all. He could see the missing half of his emotions in her eyes and he knew. It was truly meant to be.But he wanted a confession, the way he had confessed at the caf.The only difference, he wouldn't run away and neither would she, this time.

The thunder broke the gaze and she looked down and handed him the foil. He took a second to register her reasons and took it as he realized. She was worried for him.She knew he was starving. Their hands touced...it was electric...and it was the unveiling of her emotions, unguarded, unpolished and uninhibited.

I think I am in love with you she said just as he bit into one of the most delicious paronthas he had ever had.

He smiled, he had anticipated this moment.

Its about time was all he needed to say.

This was purely fictional..and the other part was hardly fictional...so yes...It was my story...it just didn't get the happy ending cos he was not my one ...it was a good memory...but I doubt we would have had a better story together...My love..my hubby is my happy story..that I live everyday...with all the moods...and emotions and moments!!!

So ya...I hope u liked it!!!

Cheers!!!

A nice lil story...even though only part of it is true...practically, it wouldn't have worked out, like what happened in real life. Works perfectly in fiction :-)
