Asya TS - the last wish part 2
Zoya was too shocked to see asad as her new lecturer. She knew asad had gone for few interviews & finally he got his dream job. But he didn't reveal it anyone by saying that it's a suspense. She never expected asad as a professor. Zoya understood that all the girls are highly impressed after seeing him. She had a urge to shout at them that he is her husband. But she controlled. She herself was amassed by her thoughts. Why asad is affecting her so much? Is it because that they are husband & wife? She tried to lock her thoughts. Asad was giving his introduction to the class.
Asad: so students I am your new lecturer. My name is asad Ahmed khan. I am going to teach you theory of structures. This my first class I fact my first job. I did my UG & PG from New York university. I will try my leval best to be a good teacher.
Ayaan had recognised asad through his introduction. Through zoya's tensed face he got his conformation. Ayaan knew asad from zoya. He also knew that asad has a special place in her heart. She had informed him about asad's return & he is trying some job in Bhopal. But he was sure that zoya was also unaware of asad's job by her face. This made him really tensed. He should do something really fast otherwise he will loose zoya.
One student : sir who all are there in your house?
Asad: mere ghar mein meri ammi, abbu, dadi aur meri biwi.
Biwi? There was small murmurings. Zoya had a smile on her face which was noticed by asad. He too smiled seeing her smiling. Ayaan was no doubt in seventh heaven. Asad is already married. Now that he don't have to worry about him.
Another student: sir your wife?
Asad can't say that his wife is none other than there batch mate zoya.
Asad: she is a house wife.
Before they could proceed with another questioning session asad started his class. Zoya was admiring the way he was teaching. She had completely forgotten all her anger & she was immersed deeply listening to his lecture & noting down important points. As usual Ayaan was admiring zoya. It may not be visible to a professor's eye but to a husband it was well noticeable. Asad was getting really angry that Ayaan was drooling over his wife zoya In front of his eyes & zoya is completely unaware. He had an urge to punch & break his bones. But for zoya he controlled. He thought of using his power as a teacher. He asked Ayaan to get up
Asad: naam kya hai tumarha?
Ayaan: Ayaan qureshi
Asad: so Ayaan what was I explaining last?
Ayaan started panicking as he was too lost in zoya he totally didn't pay attention to class.
Asad: I want my students to listen in my class. If you can't understand you guys have complete freedom to stop me & ask me to repeat. I am ready to explain till you understand. You guys are too young. I can understand the changes taking place at this period of time. And I am not against it. But in class I won't allow any one to go in a dream world. You can enjoy outside the class. But inside I want every one to concentrate in your studies. Am I clear Ayaan?
Ayaan: yes sir.
Asad:( pointing at zoya) motherma can you explain to your friend what was I saying up to now.
Zoya got up & said: yes sir.
Sir? Asad felt awkward. Zoya was explaining in detail what he was teaching up to now. Asad was really impressed. She was deeply concentrating in the class.
Asad: good. naam kya hai?
Zoya: zoya farooqui
Asad wanted to correct her it's zoya asad Ahmed khan. But he shut his mouth fearing the consequences from her & continued the class. After the class zoya went after asad.
Zoya: asad I want to talk to you.
Asad: yes. Asad? You were calling me something else before.
Zoya: don't be over smart. Why you didn't inform me that you joined here?
Asad: I didn't feel necessary to inform you. Btw isn't it you who told me to stay away?
Zoya: yes now also I came to say that.
Asad: for staying away you came after me & asked to stay away?
Zoya: ha ha very funny!
Zoya went to her class. Ayaan knew she went to fight with asad.
Ayaan: zoya why you didn't say that asad is married?
Zoya: ( tensed) he recently only got married. For his dadi's sake. Why are you so interested in asad?
Ayaan: nothing like that zoya.
1 st year IT class room
Najma was happy to see zoya with some other gentleman. She couldn't hear what was they talking. But she felt like something is there between them. She knew her Ayaan bhaijaan loves zoya & zoya is complete unaware of it. She knew zoya is a good girl & she respects her a lot. But she also knew her bestie Humeira loves her bhaijaan. Just like Ayaan & zoya Humeira & najma are also BFF from past 8 yrs. even now they have joined for IT together. Humeira loves Ayaan from childhood & Ayaan is unaware of it. Ayaan is always after zoya & he avoids other girls because of that reason. Najma always wanted ayra to get married. Now seeing zoya with some other gentle man she is getting hopeful.
Humeira quadri had lost her parents in a car accident 10 yrs back. She lives with her elder brothers farhaan quadri & Imran quadri. Farhaan & Imran runs a garment factory. Farhaan is married to Sameera who is a fashion designer. Imran likes najma & he is waiting for her to complete her studies.
Staff room
Asad was preparing for his next class in the after noon. He heard someone calling him. He was surprised to see a young women in Saree.
Asad: ji
Women: hi my name is tanveer baig. I am also a lecturer here. Teaching physics for 1 st & second year students.
Asad: oh nice to meet you. I am asad Ahmed khan.
Tanveer: asad! Nice name. If you want any help just remember I am there at your service.
Asad understood this women's intentions.
Asad: thanks. That's really great of you. But I can manage myself. I have class. So bye.
He left from there without saying anything more.
Tanveer: asad I won't leave you that easily.
Evening
Asad wanted to take zoya along with him. But zoya had messaged him saying that she will come in college bus along with NikhAt. Inside the bus NikhAt was going on teasing zoya.
NikhAt: zoya you have got married recently & following you asad bhaijaan came to your class as your lecturer. Lucky girl.
Zoya: you have gone crazy. I am in a turmoil & you feeling it as my luck.
NikhAt: now that bhaijaan will be there with you in college & house.
Zoya: ha my bad luck.
When asad came to KV he came to know that zoya had gone for dance classes with dilshad's permission. He wanted to see her badly. He wanted to warn her about Ayaan. But luck was not in favour of asad. After coming back from dance classes zoya spent few time with dadi, Radil & she went to FM also. Coming from FM zoya helped dilshad in preparing dinner. After dinner zoya was studying. Asad didn't want to disturb her. He was also buy in preparing for tomorrow's lecture. He thought not to create rift between zoya's relationships. As now he is also there he will handle Ayaan.
Next day in college
As usual zoya came with NikhAt to college in college bus. Asad came in his car. Through notice board they came to know about college day. As zoya is a trained dancer she was selected in dance team. Ayaan in singing team & najma along with Humeira in fashion show. As asad is a trained in singing he was given in charge of college day events. Tanveer was given the responsibilities of fashion show.
As days were passing zoya was really busy. Within 2 months her semester exams are coming up. She is also a part of college dance events. Studies, dance practices, family responsibilities she was really busy in these days. Even asad was also busy with classes & responsibilities of college day events. But the attraction between asad & zoya was increasing day by day. They became more aware of it in these days because of Ayaan & tanveer. Ayaan was not aware of asya nikkah. So he was trying his best to be close with zoya which made asad hell jealous. He wanted to punch him. But he knew Ayaan & zoya were friends for past 8 yrs. zoya is unaware of ayaan's interest in her. Ayaan did try to confess in front of zoya. But he was too scared of zoya's reaction. If she says no he can't bare it.
As tanveer is also in charge of college day events asad had to meet her & spend time with her. Tanveer never left any chance to be close with asad. This was noticed by the students including zoya. Zoya wanted to slap her & warn her to stay away from asad. When ever she see tanveer close to asad she will be fuming with anger & jealous.
On that day in the evening in there bedroom zoya warned asad.
Zoya: asad I know you & tanveer mam have responsibilities of college day events so you have to interact with her. But be careful. She doesn't have good reputation in college. She had joined our college last year. For past 1 year we know her. She never leave chances to be intimate with guys. Even students. She had completed 24 yrs of age. But still she is single. May be due to that frustration she is like this. I don't want your name to be spoiled.
Asad: is that the real reason?
Zoya: what do you mean?
Asad: are you jealous mrs.khan?
Zoya: jealous my foot!
She went from there angrily. But asad had a smile in his face.
Asad: admit it mrs.khan you are jealous because you are in love with me.
As said friendship, fight, jealousy. These are the previous steps to love. Now we both are in the last stage I guess.
Next day in college
Asad knew tanveer's intentions. He never allowed her to cross the limits. He did mentioned to every one that he is married. But still tanveer is not backing off which made him felt disgusted. But he noticed zoya's changes when tanveer gets close to her. It was the same feeling which he has when Ayaan gets close to her. Even tough they fight 24 * 7 he really did like zoya from a young age. He never allowed her to call him bhaijaan. He purposefully irritates her & makes her fight with him which he used to enjoy. But when he left to New York he did miss her. Her care & affection for him was clear in her mails. But he purposefully irritates her in the reply mails & make her fight with him. That was his way of liking her. When he came back to India after long 8 yrs he was mesmerised by her beauty. Even then he doesn't want to admit to her. He wanted to concentrate on his job & to be independent. She is also studying. After one year when she completes her studies slowly he wanted to put forward his proposal for zoya through the family. But when dadi all of a sudden asked for there nikkah he was confused & moreover he knew zoya is not ready, but fate had always it's own plan. Now that they are married, he can clearly see the change in there relationship.
Tanveer saw asad & came towards him.
Tanveer: asad your selection for invitation card is excellent.
She tried to lean over him by showing the card. Asad moved immediately.
Asad: tanveer what are you doing? We both are teachers. We should be role models to our students. You knew that I am married. Even after you behave like this what will be you reputation? Behave properly tanveer.
Tanveer: asad I am beautiful, educated, employed & rich. Your wife is only a house wife. I am much better for you than her.
Asad: shut up tanveer. If you utter 1 more word about my wife I will forget that you are a women. What do you know about my wife? You don't have the eligibility to utter her name comparison is so far. Never repeat it again.
Asad left from there. Tanveer was fuming with anger. Unknow to them zoya was watching there entire conversation. She has heard every thing. She had a smile on her face.
That day evening rehearsal hall.
After classes the students will be practicing for college day events in the college auditorium. Because of that zoya had changed her timings for the dance class to the weekends. Since students are practicing the event in charge from teachers also stays back with students. It was the break time for them. Zoya wants to know more about asad. After hearing his reply to tanveer she was sure that he too has feelings for her. But her ego didn't allow her to ask him directly. So she thought of using one of her batch mates.
Zoya's batch mate: sir it's break time we all are bored so we are curious to know something about you if you are ok with it?
Asad: ok fine. You can ask.
Student: sir can you share with us about your first love?
Asad had a smile on his face
Asad: frankly speaking I also doesn't know when it started. She was always special to me. But I never realised. When I went to New York for my studies I used to receive her letters. Through her letters I came to know her care & affection for me which made me realise my feelings for her.
Student: does she know about your love sir?
Asad: no. It's getting late lets continue.
Zoya was too shocked. Was he saying about her? Letters? But she used to send him mails. She was too confused. She knew asad used to write diary. Somehow she should get his previous diaries.
Once she came back to KV from college she was determined to search for his diary in the shelf. When asad went for bathing zoya opened his cupboard. Before he came out she took his diary & kept it in her bag. She was surprised to find out only one big book instead of diaries. She knew she can't read in KV. She has to wait till tomorrow. She can read it only in college.
Next day in college library
After first session zoya came out from the class to library. First hour was asad's lecture. She doesn't want to miss his class. After his class she thought to cut the next hour. She lied to Ayaan that she is having headache. Ayaan was about to cut his class along with zoya. But he stopped him & requested him. She assured that she will join in the afternoon session. Zoya has never bunked her classes. She came to library & opened asad's book. When she opened the first page she was shocked to find out the print out of her first mail in that page along with time & date.
Zoya had tears in her eyes. She read her first mail.
" Asad, I hope you have reached safely & you are comfortable with the place. Within 24 hrs we all are missing you here. Including me. You may be surprised. Yes that's true. I am missing your irritating nature, your teasing, your care for me.
Don't worry asad I will be fine. I want you to take care yourselves. Eat properly on time. You gets angry so easily. Please control your anger. It's a different place. When you gets angry just remember your dreams. You will be able to controll.
Please call phupi. She is really worried. Don't get tensed about her. I will take care of her."
Like that all her mails are pasted in each page of that book. In most of them she will be scolding him for his irritating reply mails.
One of her mails again caught her attention.
" asad today I started learning cooking. You know what I studied first to cook? Your favourite dish paneer paratha. Phupi taught me. Every one praised me. I so wish if you were here. Don't worry once you come back I will prepare it for you."
Like that she read all her mails till the last one asking about his arrival details. She was crying so badly. She always had a special place for asad in her heart. But she failed to realise. His irritating nature made her to think he doesn't like her. It was only because of him she opted a career in civil engineering.
Now that it's crystal clear that asad too liked her. Other wise he won't save all her mails like this. Fate united them in the form of dadi's wish.
NikhAt had a free hour before lunch break. She thought of completing her assignment in library. She was surprised to find out zoya in library at this hour. Before coming to library she did pass zoya's class. But she found class was going on & zoya never cuts her classes. So she came to library.
She went near to zoya & kept her hand on zoya's shoulders. Zoya turned. She had tears in her eyes. This made NikhAt worried.
NikhAt: zoya tum teek tho hain na?
Zoya smiled & replied: zoya nahi. Mrs . Zoya asad Ahmed khan.
Nikhat's mouth got opened by hearing zoya's reply. It's the first time she is referring as asad's wife.
NikhAt: Kya Baath hai zoya? It's the first time you are referring as mrs.asad Ahmed khan. This only means that my zoya is in love with husband cum lecturer mr.asad Ahmed khan. Am I correct zoya?
Zoya smiled & nodded her head. NikhAt hugged zoya.
Un known to the duo 2 eyes were watching & listening to there entire conversation. It was none other than tanveer.
