Today's episode has got to be one for the books!!! I mean if yesterday got us an incredible episode, today, they totally rocked it even further!!!
One scene after the next was just epic!
First. Zoya asking Dilshad if she can put haldi on her Mr Khan. We all know and love this awesome pairing, this scene actually further proves just how amazing their relationship is. Beyond any blood ties!
Then came next. Asad Zoya putting haldi on each other. Oh so sensuous that touch of Asad. Caressing he was. And classic Zoya pulled a classic Zoya! Put it on his nose instead. Then off she runs.
Scene Three. Zoya running into Siddiqui Sahab, and accidentally smeared haldi on what is, in reality, her own father. And Zoya fumbling with her apology with Siddiqui Sahab looking at her with so much longing.
Four. Young Zoya coming from behind adult Zoya. of course, this really is a figment of Siddiqui Sahab's imagination. His daughter holding the music box he gifted her, and calling him closer to her and she pecks his forehead, and he, he puts his palm on her head.
Five. Adult Zoya asking. Kya hua. Aap ro kyu rahe hai, and Siddiqui Sahab realises he has his palm on adult Zoya's head. And as he takes his hand off of her head, he then ruefully said, sometimes even if a person is right in front of you, you still can't see that person. Allah hamesha tujhe kush rakhna. And he leaves, looking rather wistful.
Then enter Dadi. Started talking to Zoya about a father's role post haldi ceremony. He has to gift his daughter with items of jewellery. And then some. Even the shaadi ka jodha. Zoya's cue to look all forlorn. And melancholy. And nostalgic even. Then comes Dilshad. Toh kya agar Zoya ke Abbu nahin hai, hum sab haina. I'll do everything for her. Everything! And she pecks Zoya on the forehead. I bet in any other circumstances, Zoya would take Dilshad into a big warm hug, but today, the haldi factor kinda held her back. So no hugging, lest the haldi come in between. đ
Seven. Siddiqui Sahab looking at them rather ruefully. Longingly. Wistfully.
Yes this count as a scene on its own. No question. Period.
And then!
Humeira. Resplendent in white, dressed up to the nines, but not interested in joining the ceremony. Haider, in white kurta, getting all- if you can't go to the Haldi. Let the Haldi come to you. And he did the honors by introducing said haldi to Humeira's cheek. And then they had a little merry-go-round. Humeira ran back into the house, Haider chasing after.
Nine. Humeira running pass her father and into the room and Haider too, but right before he enters. Right before he enters. RIGHT BEFORE HE ENTERS. He winked. He winked. HE WINKED AT. Wait for it. HE WINKED, AT SIDDIQUI SAHAB. He winked at Siddiqui Sahab.
Ten.
Haider got hold of Humeira, and very, very, VERY conveniently fall on the bed with him on top. And then he started- all playful. And she went all, I don't want but please give it to me. And then silence. And then they started giggling, finally realising that their 'fall' broke the bed. And then Humeira wanted to get off of the bed but Haider pushes her back, getting all cosy. Anytime now. He moves nearer. Cue background music. Anytime now. Eye lock. Cue fluttering eyes and lips. Anytime now. Aur paas. Anytime now. Aur paas. NOW!

Haider was grabbed by the collar from the back. By Siddiqui Sahab. Humeira looks on, shocked. One tight slap. Humeira gobsmacked.
Twelve.
Siddiqui Sahab pulling Haider out, Humeira screaming Abbu! And Siddiqui Sahab morphed into Shatrugan Sinha with his one line- Khamosh! He locks the door from outside. Again got hold of Haider, and pushed him out of the house. Well, he got Haider to the door, that's quite a feat. Said something about disgrace and daag, and the famous, get out of my house, you filth.
Thirteen. Haider went all puhlease, this is your house no more mister, let me go ask bhai. Asad Bhai. And Zoya... surely they'll agree with me. Haider all avenging mode is worth it. You tell them I am playing with your daughter's feelings. Tell them I'm a kameena. Go on, tell them. Everyone's outside. But please don't stop there, if you want to tell them about me, tell them why too. Tch tch tch Siddiqui Sahab, *cue evil Haider tune* what to do, you have nothing left.
Na ghar, na daulat, na shaan na shaukat.
Ek izzat thi, jiske piche main haath dho kar padha.
Aap to kuch nahin karsakte. *CUE SUSPENSE TUNE*
Jis tarha aapne aapni aakhon ke samne sab kuch jaate hue dekha hai,
ussi tarha aap Humeira ko barbaad hota dekehenge. Aur aap kuch nahin *cue thumb* kar payenge...
Haider leaves. Siddiqui Sahab looks on, slightly alarmed.
Oh how we would hate to love him. Haider, I mean. But love him we do. At least I do. Hee.
14. The Shayari jugal bandi. Asad was all, Excuse me, main apke shayari ki kaatil ke saazish mein shareeq nahin hona chahta. But, yeh ishq nahin aasan.
Zoya, in an effort to stop Asad from leaving (Yeh bechare tehzeeb ke chalte, baagh bhi nahin sakte, lekin main baagh sakta hoon) -
Abhi na jaye chod kar,
Raat abhi baaki hai;
Abhi na jaye chod kar,
Raat abhi baaki hai;
Jo barson zubaan pe thi
Woh baat abhi baaki hai.
To which Asad readily replies-
Woh baat kabhi ho bhi chuki hai,
Hai goonj rahe woh falaq tak;
Zubaan bale hi khamosh the,
Par aakhon ne shor macha dala.
Zoya, all smirking-
Paani ki tanki si hai,
Har bad pe bar aati hai;
Paani ki tanki si hai,
Har bad pe bar aati hai;
Aakhen bahot talkative hai,
Har baat kar jati hai.
Asad, with a proud Zoya looking on-
Is baat ko koi dekh na le,
Palkon se kaho jhilman karte;
Yeh baat hi toh chalte chalte,
Afsana banjate hai.
And cheekily, Zoya replied-
Asad Zoya yeh nam jhude toh happy county ho jaye,
Asad Zoya yeh nam judhe toh happy county ho jaye;
Bas, afsano mein namon ki, couple entry ho jaye.
So who won?

Number effing fifteen. The pillow talk. Probably, first time in the history of life, sautan became behna. Razia. Nothing can ever be enough to express just how you fascinate us.. and how incredible that mind of yours is. I know you won't let Tanveer be. I simply cannot describe the pillow talk scene. Tannu having yet another scare (remember yesterday's scary pop-up from Zoya's laptop?) when she finds who but her most favourite enemy on her bed. And Razia begins her monologue. To precision. Whatever is said by the public at large, can never give that scene enough justice.
16. Tanveer, finally getting a hold of herself, went on to. Went on to. Went on to, WAIT FOR IT. Went on to, hug Razia. Tannu went on to HUG Razia. Another history in the making.
For a moment, just a fleeting thought came to me, I was hoping Tannu would give Razia a light peck. But no, just hugging tonight. Then she got back to her side of the bed, pulled the covers and slept. No. Not that easy. Before she could even close her eyes, Razia pulls the cover to her side. And she, she, slept. Tannu, has no choice but to make do with whatever little blanket she has on her.
Then. Chor in Ms Farooqi's room. Who could it be? Ha-ha. 4.30 am. And who we find walking like a thief and covering her mouth, if not Mr Khan himself. I wanna see a star tonight, Tch tch. Moon, Mr Khan. Hone wale dulhe ko apne hone wale dulhan ko chand bulate hai. There's so much for me to teach you still. And then some.
Eighteen. Subah ke taare ke niche, Asad and Zoya terrace pe. Kya karne wale hai? Tare ginne? Nope! Agenda this morning is to look at Zoya, the tara. Both Zoya the tara and its namesake shining bright like a diamond (cue Rihanna's Shine Bright Like a Diamond). So Mr Akdu Ahmed Khan romantic hogaya! Yeh nazara toh hum yesterday se dekh raha hai...ayye hayye. How so very easily he named a star. That heart to heart talk, gives a really realistic feel to it. And then he stood reveling at Zoya. Which one? đ
And then precap.
Akhir Abbu making an effort to join. Dekha bhi undekha. Love the talk on apni jaise lagte hai.
That look of pain, Siddiqui Sahab. That look of pain. I feel like hugging you.
Admirable, most filling episode by far, and no, no secrets out yet. No Abbu found yet. No Chutki alive yet. And gudiyan factory ki raaz abhi bhi raaz hai.
This has got to be my longest post ever.
