Yes! I think along with Surbhi, Karan, Alka, Tej, Vaquar, Shalini and Vikrant have been giving great performances. I might be biased but I truly do think QH has the best ensemble cast amongst all shows.
My favourite scenes are:
- When Zoya and Asad talk for the first time on the porch after Tanveer is thrown out.
- When Zoya is at Siddique Mansion and Rashid asks her to have tea and she gets a flashback which ends with her saying, everyone knows me very well in this house, then realizing she is no longer in Khan Villa .
- The whole photoshoot episode culminating in the revelation of the scar. Surbhi and Karan both did not say much but emoted stupendously well with their eyes. That was a brilliant episode.
- Zoya and Asad's scene outside the hospital when Ayaan is injured.
- The episode where Zoya puts a wig on Najma and later steps on Asad's foot breaking his phone. This episode is special for me because this was in the beginning and they'd showed Zoya to be a a really smart spunky girl.
- The scene you mention- that whole arc was legit painful to watch.
- The scene between Dilshad and Zoya just before Jashn-e-Saugaat where Zoya tries to tell Dil that the engagement is fake.
- When Zoya yells at Asad about her skirt. Asad moving back in front of her fury was funny đ.
- When Asad and Zoya return from the airport and Asad says the engagement is fake.
- When Asad and Zoya are on the way to the cemetery and she's talking about how she'll meet her father.
And although the Zoya-being-buried couple of episodes belong to Karan, I quite liked her expressions when she wakes up and sees Asad devastated.
Lately, I've really liked the Zoya-Gaffur scenes. Surbhi's been showing the bafflement towards the affection Gaffur is showing her and her pull towards her father very well. Also liked the What's up, Mumani scene with Alka.
Amongst the newbies, I'm liking Mohit a lot - he's settling in well into his role - so I hope we get to see some more scenes between Haider and Zoya. I liked the scene where he calls her Chutki for the first time. Even though it wasn't brilliant, it was a cute scene.
I'm quite excited about VM coming back!
Edited to add: With AsYa 2.0, I quite liked Asad's bended knee apology scene and him stalking off in anger and the uber-protective hug after rescuing Zoya from the factory fire.
