Excellent chapter, the beginning, the picnic set the mood. Zoe is determined to prove that she is not one match wonder 😆, and yeah she is not going to let some Kanpur ka dude ruin it for her. 😊. The jhatkas she gave Tanveer was matched by Imran's impeccable "right place, right time". And that too a photographer for Mr Khan no less.

Yh..Bhopal is no Highbury, but the world is still a small place. Kismat ne mila di jodi. Kya Zoya kismet se lad paayegi? 😛 Not only Imraan was at right place at right time and works for Mr Khan, Mr Khan approves his work and him. Zoya has tough battles ahead.

Nice touch with Asad watching out for Tanveer at that moment, Asad is familiar with Zoe's intentions, so he kind of makes it his business to understand what is going on too, specially now, after that chat with Dilshad. Zoe wanted Asad's attention for herself, she got it too, but only after Asad was satisfied. And then it was completely Zoe. She gets his work, just as he gets hers. I really like that part, they care already, the affection is already present, and I do not get tired saying this that I find this part of the story premise really good, the way it is unraveling in your writing is just fabulous. The subtle acknowledgement of each other is just right.

Thank you. 😳 Emma & Mr Knightley's relationship is based on a strong friendship and that is the best thing about it, IMO.

And Zoe met her match when Tanveer was crushing about Imran, that was cute, and that too with a stunning pic of herself which made Zoe feel the manipulation. Who would have thought that Zoe would have to look for an opening to divert Tanveer off the course. 😆She did get her way eventually. Akram is in for surprise soon. 😈

So sunar ki to ek luhar ki. 😉 Akram is sure in for surprise. Will there be a time when we will call him Bechara? 😈

Even Tanveer realizes what Asad is, more than Zoe does at this point, his context in their both lives are very different ways. This realization and non realization by both at the same time for the exact same thing, well written.This is the impact the man can have. 😳

When Zoya talks about other men that she has met, Asad is the only person that comes to Tanveer's mind. Akram was not even on the radar. Bechari Zoya, she has no idea what seeds she is planting inadvertently. And, yes, the man - what else can I add? Zoya already said a lot.😳 (BTW, similar conversation happened between Emma and Harriet and Emma said the same things. I told you naa...the more I dug into this book, more similarities I found.)

The last part, it was flawless. Zoe with his pics, the smug looks just for Zoe's benefit? 😆 Very Asad. More than all of this,as annoying and knowingly manipulative Zoe is in the chapter, this last part softened it all. This, just this, gives that endearing vibes. How she cherishes Asad. Without that realization, this innocence is what makes her so much more real.

And, that's why Asad, even after all the scoldings, eye rolls, (very soon anger), annoyance can't help but care for her and us readers, too.

Somewhere in Time main Asad and Zoya had first proper conversation in Chapter 9.

Heartbeat Warfare main, they had first proper conversation in Chapter 9 (Hey, that is some coincidence) and what did they talk about? Laryngeal cancer. Very romantic...nahi?😉😆

On a serious note, Zoya is the main protagonist here and this is her story, so yes, Asad is less. If I had followed the book closely, he would completely disappear from certain chapters. Rest assured, I won't let that happen. 😃 Look at the title, they both have found their space.😳

Asad jaisa to koi ho hi nahi sakta. No comparison. So well-mannered, cultured, well-informed, respectful and caring. And, the authoritative way in which he carries himself, there is no match.

just loved it❤️ how zoya understands asad so tenderly but always kept looking at his faults infront of him and so does he 😉

She has known him all her life. And, she admires him, respects him, cares for him. In the same way, Asad cares for her. But they are so used to each other that incapable of seeing what's before their eyes. They will need external forces to get going.

Yes, she is. She is so sure of her matchmaking abilities that she reads Akram's every action for Tanveer. The mighty is going to fall bad and will take Tanveer along the way!
