YES THANK YOU! I thought it was only me. I really prefer Asad V1 over V2, and agreed, it wasn't just the hair. The chemistry was off, something was missing. Around the time that Dilshad was going to live in SM, we saw a glimpse of Asad V1 again, but then Karan was ousted, and well I lost interested. While I do miss the other characters, and I do wanna see the Abbu reveal, I simply can't see Zoya with Asad V3. i tried seeing a couple random scenes. Like the one of Zoya trying to change Asad's shirt recently. And while I agree with you Green, it had it's own charm, it pisses me off, that those kinds of scenes weren't done with Karan, which would have given the romance factor in the jodi a jump so far ahead, that no other couple on indian telly would ever compare.
But alas, it didn't happen. I will always be mad at ZeeTV for wasting Karan and Surbhi's chemistry after the Ajmer track, and turning their burning and sizziling and explosive chemistry, into a cheesy child's play.😭

Well, to be fair, one of the reasons why Asad V2 was a shadow of his former self was bad writing and tracks that followed Ajmer. I think even KSG himself could not bring that same passion to his role, especially after Zoyaan. Never thought that I would be able to watch QH again with Asad V3, but I have caught a few episodes here and there. And he is actually not bad if you forget Asad V1 ever existed. 😭That said, even though I am enjoying the Abbu reveal at the moment, I can never connect to this new AsYa like I did with the original couple. I am a detached viewer now. However, I do love to read FFs like yours that bring back memories of Asad V1 and his journey with Zoya.If you do continue writing about AsYa, I hope all your stories are about them. 😉

I never stopped watching, even when I was not too excited about it. Just stopped posting here about the show!! Even during v2, I had hopes of seeing v1 back, but alas! Anyway, v3 and the story has me excited in the show again! 😃

Haha like I said, I guess I've made peace with this turn of events somehow. I would've loved for the shirt scene to be done with Asad V1 as well, but alas, it's never gonna happen and I've stopped hoping too.
I'm not mad at Zee for the story/chemistry, that's not the channel's fault, it's the PH's and their creatives' fault. That said, I'm not mad at the PH either, because I sorta understand where they came from. The TV industry is very unpredictable, things change overnight. And what determines the success of a show is the TRPs, and how long it shows on TV.
The strange tracks that followed Ajmer was probably a bad guess on the PH's part on what the TRP audience would like to watch, because they certainly aren't making this show for the internet audience. Separation tracks seemed to be the only feasible way to keep the story running for them at that time, so they took that route. Sure, it was a bad idea, but obviously they didn't think so when they ventured into it, and you can't blame them. Some tracks work, some don't, even the audience is an unpredictable bunch of people.
Whatever went down between the actor, the PH and the channel thereafter is something that will forever remain a mystery to us, because while they've all made their statements and people have chosen to believe whichever side they want to, I believe that everyone shares a part of the blame, because there has to be some truth in what each side is saying, or it wouldn't be said at all. The only real losers are us, the audience, because now we'll never get back the AsYa that this show started with, due to issues they couldn't sort out themselves.
But anyway, all that in the past, I've moved on basically haha, and this is one hell of a long reply, sorry about that :p

@bold -👏 Exactly. No one is holier than thou in this industry. Everyone has their side of the truth and falsehood.
for KSG fans .. ASAD V1 or V2 wouldnt have mattered at all, as all they wanted to see KSG onscreen, thing that mattered to them and me was ASAD V3..atleast if it was still V2, we could have talked, or if the story was going to be like now how it is gripped, I am sure he would have moved back to V1,but now with V3 as replacement, V1 can happen only in our dreams 😔

Wow, love this post! You've nailed bang on what I've been feeling with the Asads!
Like you, I fell in love with V1. The show started out so wonderfully. And Karan and Surbhi brought it when it came to their scenes.V2 wasn't as fun, but yeah. I think V1 was coming back when Karan got ousted though. Karan was sort of starting to bring it back. And V3. Honestly, I just hope Raqesh improves his voice diction. It sounds fuzzy to me, unlike when he speaks in clear english LOL. But yeah they work alright.Seriuslly tho, if V1 had returned, QH would've been on even more fire. But I'll take what I'll get. Thankfully V3 is putting in effort and thankfully its showing so the show is still good :)
