Chapter-3
Zoya reclined her face at the back of the seat in her flight that took off from Delhi after her almost 20 hour journey from New York. As she was informed, the flight was almost now an hour more to Bhopal. Bhopal, the city where her future lies ahead... She did not know how it would ultimately feel, but except waiting there was no option. Closing her eyes waiting for what lays ahead for her...
Within an hour the flight landed on the runway of the airport in Bhopal. A little journey forward made her go to the exit. Zoya looked around the airport- Raja Bhoj International Airport... "Okies!" Zoya mumbled to herself, absorbing in whatever the city Bhopal was giving her, starting from the name of the airport she recently landed in. Moving about a few steps, when she found her parents, Aapi and Jeeju waving their hands towards someone. Zoya looked in the line of their waves, finding a couple and a girl standing at the waiting area, waving them back. Zoya held on her sister's sleeve, and mumbled to her- "Ye kaun hain jinhe aap log Hi kar rahe ho?"... Her Aapi smiled- "Wo jo lady hain wo hain Dilshad Aunty... Asad's mother..." Even before Zaina could continue, Zoya gasped in horror, covering her mouth with her hands- "Allah Miyaan, what's wrong with you... Aapi, unhe dekhke lag hi nahi raha ke wo inte bade bachho ki ammi hongi..." Zaina giggled and continued- "Aur wo Asad ke Abbu, Rashid Uncle... Aur wo girl... That's Najma, Asad's sister..." Zoya raised her eyebrows seeing the girl... Looks good...
As they reached towards the exit, Zoya's parents reached about to Asad's family- "Aap logo ne aane ki takleef kyu ki... Hum aa hi jaate...", said Zoya's mother... And on reply Dilsaad very sweetly replied, as if the family is already made together- "Takleef kaisi... Aap humse alag thodi na hain...". It was when Dilshaad saw Zoya come too... There was an inexplicable smile spread across the three of them from Asad's side. Dilshad came forward and cupped Zoya's cheeks in her soft palms, bringing down Zoya's face to her level, and then very lovingly pecked her forehead-"Khush raho beta..." Zoya very obediently gave her salaams to all of them, who lovingly replied her back. Rashid put a very fatherly hand over Zoya's head blessing her, and Najma immediately came and hugged her uttering-"Bhabhi..."
Zoya could not take more than those little moments to have an instant liking for this new family... They all loaded in two cars along with their luggage, and surprisingly, Zoya sat with her in-laws in one car, while her family sat into the other car. The car drove away from the airport, while Najma kept telling Zoya about all the places that were passing by. To her own surprise, Zoya was mesmerised by the beauty of Bhopal that she was seeing... the roads may be dynamic, unlike the roads at NY, yet, they had some serenity that she always searched for... the huge hills that were easily see able, was fantastic, when Najma told her about the many hills that were in Bhopal. Zoya's look outside broke by her Whatsapp notification coming. She knew it must be him, yet, keeping her involuntary smile in check, she looked about the car, Dilshad and Rashid were busy talking about something, and Najma was lost in the scenery outside the window, so she opened the message as fast as she could... The message read- "Welcome to the city of Lakes Miss. Farooqui... someone other than this beauty of this city, and my eager family, is with bated breath waiting for you... :)"... Zoya needed no motivation to smile again... A shy smile this time... Surely he seems to be an impressive and romantic too... Zoya blushed at her own thought... This one week, and she has already started to come in terms with her all time blushing.

Asad was sitting in his cabin, reclining his face at the back of his chair, thinking about how she is going to look like... unable to concentrate at his work, and not having anything much at hand today, he decided to drive back at home, Ammi-Abbu would return home soon. So with those thoughts, he went into his car. Driving by himself today, he switched on the FM. While in Zoya's car, the same station was playing, that played a song, that made both Asad and Zoya sit straight with a pleasant shock, knowing how the words were apt-
Andekhi Anjaani si, pagli si deewani si,
Jane wo kaisi hogi re...
Jisko dekha na barso,
Dekhoonga main bas kal-padso,
Jaane wo kaisi hoi re...
Andekha anjaana sa,
Pagla sa deewana sa,
Jaane wo kaisa hoga re...
Chori se chupke-chupke,
Baitha hai dil mein chupke,
Jaane wo kaisa hoga re...
Both Asad and Zoya smiled at the song that perfectly described their feelings...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The cars, in which Zoya's family and Zoya were, came to a halt in front of a beautiful Villa... All came down of the cars, when servants from inside the house came and took all the luggage inside. Dilshaad spoke to the guests ie. Zoya and her family- " Shaadi aur uske dauraan ke saare functions and sabke liye, tak, aap sab yahin rukenge... Aapke job hi rishtedaar, dost wagairah job hi hain, unke accommodation ke liye it would be easy... As in, this is your home... ours is a few metres away... Hum log apne meals saath mein kara karenge... Par functions aur bade-buzurgon ki khushi ke liye Dulha aur Dulhan ke ghar shadi tak alag-alag hi rahein toh behtar hoga... Aap logon ko koi aitraaz toh nahi hai?"... Zoya's mother put her palms over Dilshaad's confirming they have no problem with the arrangements...
Dilshaad, Rashid and Najma took the Farooqui family inside showing them around. And before leaving, they told them about their meals to be coming from their sides until their stay. Asking them to take rest, and then they shall start all the arrangements of the wedding from the next day onwards, including shopping... And with that the Khan family took their leave...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoya moved about the beautiful room, that was allotted to her, going about the Balcony in the room, the fresh and cool air blowing in swaying the white curtains of the room, made her smile, as if they must have been scented with Asad's presence, although she knew, she has never known his presence... giggling at her own stupid thoughts, Zoya sat on her bed, and then again her phone pinged with his message- "Liked the house?" Zoya smiled... This guy, although is not in front, knows all what must be happening by her side... But anyhow replied him back- "Loved it... Lekin how come you know all what must have happened..." Asad laughed at his side at her question and then replied- "Because, the schedule is planned by me... I don't plan my own schedule, but felt, this has to be done by me... ;)" Zoya smiled at his thoughtfulness...
Feeling the jetlag already, she unpacked her luggage, and took out her necessities and stuff, went into the bathroom... Well, Zoya applauded Asad mentally... If he could not let her stay in New York, he has made his entire room, including the bathroom with the New York touch... She was floored... What a sweetiepie...
Taking her much needed bath, and changing her clothes, Zoya had no energy left to take her meals and dozed off into the fluffy bed that was already made...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoya woke up, well after the noon; it seemed it was early evening... say, 4 PM... getting out of the bed, she felt famished... Combing her hair, and getting freshen up, she went out to find her family sitting with the Khan family sipping tea... minus Asad ofcourse... They welcomed her to sit with them... Suddenly Zoya felt so embarrassed, that she had been sleeping all about from the late mornings at 11, till about 4... But, was immediately made at ease, by Dilshaad, asking her if her tiredness reduced or not, and talking about her likes as to what she'll like to buy for the wedding and all, and then made her have her food, so that she can feel better...
Zoya did not know, how, but she has started seeing a mother in her, and that made her all the more comfortable...
Finally after the dinner was over, Dilshaad announced the breakfast of both the families together the next day, as Zoya has to be introduced to the rest of the members of their house... As soon as Dilshaad said this, a naughty Najma who was standing at her mother's back, winked at Zoya, indicating whom she's gonna meet tomorrow morning, that made Zoya blush profusely, and soon that was an affair of fun on her own cost. Although embarrassing, Zoya loved all of this leg pulling... Afterall she missed all of this in NY...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One good thing that she had been practicing on her family's insistence since she came to know about her alliance with Asad was, changing her sleeping habits. She knew the time-zone is going to create problems, and thus, she tried sleeping at the IST. Surely she was slowly getting into it, and the tiredness of one whole week, made it easier, she felt sleepy... But not before her regular chat with Asad, wherein, both eagerly waited for the next morning, to see the one whom they have been with so much heart and soul are trying to know... Whom they are going to make their life partners...
