Hello people of Earth😉, Oreo here.i know, i know. I've been missing or gone for a long time, so much so that my other topic got closed...would someone please explain to me how that works?. Anyway reading all the amazing stories out there i have decided that i owe it to myself to atleast finish this one, therefore here is a bit edited version of my FF: AsYa: Really? renamed Zid, Mohabbat aur Tum.
Uhmm also nothing against Raqesh, i love that guy but this story was originally written with KSG in mind and will remain so.

Asad was working calmly at his computer when Zoya barged into his room seething with anger. "Ms.Farooqi how many times do I have to tell you that you should knock before you enter someone's room?" said Asad in a condescending tone as he casually glanced up from his work. Not wasting any time Zoya blasted at him, "why did you tell Phuphi that I should be kept under watch?"

"Because knowing you Ms.Farooqi, you would be up and raising hell before you even give your body time to recover, not even two days ago you were in an accident that could have cost you your life and you're here screaming about why I want the best for you!", by now Asad had stood up and while he ranted he strode towards her until he was within an arm's length of her.

"Please don't act like you care about me Mr.Khan, ever since I've come here you had wanted me to go back", she said stepping in closer to him.

"Sometimes I say things that I do not mean Ms. Farooqi, you should not take everything that comes out of my mouth as the truth," he said as he too stepped closer to her.

By now they were nearly nose to nose and breathing hard. With both of them clearly affected with the close proximity they were now at it became hard for them to take their eyes of each other. Asad expression softened and Zoya's eyes bore into Asad's and Asad's eyes flitted from her eyes down to her lips and then back again. Suddenly realizing the position they were in they avoided each other's eyes and took a step back. Zoya began to blush and hightailed out of his room like she was running from a fire. Asad tried to make a move to stop her but pulled back at the last moment realizing what he was about to do. He rubbed his hands over his face and heaved a big sigh before trying to get back to his work.

Zoya paced back and forth in her room trying to figure out what had come over both of them in Asad's room. Asad no less then proclaimed every day that he rued her existence in the house so then why did her heart beat frantically when he came near her?. Why did she feel the need to always rile him up? These were questions that she had no answers to and this really annoyed her. Putting this out of her mind for the time being she heard phuphi call her so went to see what the lady whom she considered to be her mother wanted.

Three days had passed and Zoya's health had improved considerably, she had promised Tamatar that when she got better they would leave for their road trip. Najma's holiday had started and she wanted to spend it with Zoya as her visa would be expiring and she would be leaving for New York soon. Asad's permission to go on the trip was the last thing to ask for and Zoya knew that it was not going to be easy to obtain. Zoya intercepted Asad just before he had to go to work, she knew that he was already late and might give her permission just to get her out of his hair

"Mr.Khan, wait up I have to ask you something!" she called out to him.

"Ms.Farooqi if you don't mind I have to get to work, some of us have a job to do and I am already running late as it is, so if this is not important then it can wait", he said as he took long strides towards the door.

Zoya ran ahead of him and put herself between him and the door, "Mr.Khan I just need to ask you a question," she stopped for a while as she registered what he said, "and what do you mean some of us have a job to do, I'll have you know that if I wanted a job I could have gotten one I am quite smart, I have a degree from NYIT and..."

"Ms. Farooqi would you just get to the point already", he cut her off.

"I am, do you not have any patience!" she stopped and thought for a while, it was probably not a good idea to aggravate him if I need to ask him for something, " I mean," she pasted on an innocent smile and dropped her eyes, " I know you can be very understanding (it was hard enough for her to come up with that compliment) ... Najma had wanted to spend her holiday's with me on a road trip, I had already gotten phoophi's permission but she had said that I should just confirm with you, please let us go Mr.Khan, it would be a fun experience and she would get to see the real world".

Asad looked down for a second pondering about her question; he looked up with a devilish smile adorning his face, "okay".

Zoya started blabbering in a frenzy before he could think about it for too long, "Please Mr.Khan I have never asked you for...wait what did you say?"

"I said okay, you guys can go", he replied slowly with that smile still on his face.

Zoya could not believe her luck, Akdu Ahmed khan had just agreed!!! She did a little victory dance in her head. "Anyway I do have three weeks of holiday that I can still take, I'll pack my bags, when are we leaving Ms. Farooqi?"

Zoya was still in her victory dance state so she answered without thinking about his question, "the day after tomorrow".

"Good," said Asad, "now if you'll excuse me...," he opened the door and stepped out closing the door behind him.

A few moments passed, "wait, did Mr.Khan just insinuate that he would be joining us?" after realizing that he did in fact do so she huffed out a big irritated sigh and stalked off to her room to plan for operation: Jahapanah wet blanket should stay at home so we could have fun. Wow thought Zoya to herself; I really need to work on my mission names.

Part 2

Asad sat back in his plush office chair, not being able to think about anything except Zoya. He himself didn't know why he had agreed to let them go on the road trip; heck he didn't even know why he invited himself along. He supposed that it was because he had gotten very used to having his Ms.Musibat around and wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything other than the safety of her and Najma if they were out of his sight anyway. It also just felt...right. He didn't know what or why or how but somewhere along the way he had started to develop a protective instinct towards Zoya. Maybe it was because she was like the elder daughter of his Ammi, the supportive sister towards his little tamatar or because she was his most trusted and understanding confidant, but somewhere she had grown to be an integral part of his life. He had begun to appreciate everything that Zoya had brought into his life. They shared a bond, an unnamed bond but never the less an important one. Suddenly he realised the major lack of time he had spent on his work, "Oh no, she has even began to affect me at work", he groaned as he leaned forward towards his desk and buried his face in his hands.

The next night Asad stood near his bed, neatly folding and setting his clothes into his bag while muttering to himself trying to make sure he took everything when a soft knock at the door interrupted him. "Come in," he called out distractedly.

Dilshad gently pushed the door open; some jersey's draped over her left arm. Asad imeediately turned towards her and took the jersey's setting them down on the bed before facing her again with his hands behind his back.

Dilshad shook her head at her son lovingly before sitting down on the couch and motioning for him to join her. Asad padded over and sat down beside her, giving her his full attention.

"Asad," Dilshad began fondly, "I know that you have never had the easiest of lives, from a young age you had to take charge, shoulder responsibilities that were not yours from the start.. Yet still you have not relinquished hold of them, making sure you provide this family with all the happiness it needs and more," Dilshad sighed, "but in doing so, I fear you have lost your childhood, your smile...your innocence."

Asad lowered his head, settling his gaze on the floor. Dilshad reached out and swept a hand over his head softly, letting what she said sink in.

After a while she continued softly again, "You don't have to be alone Beta. You have me, your sister and now even Zoya has joined our family."

Asad took a breath before speaking, "what are you trying to say Ammi?"

Dilshad retreated her hand back and nudged Asad so he would look up at her, "What I'm saying is that I think it's time for you to settle down, find someone who would bring that same smile and childish innocence back to your face because like it or not Asad you need to let go, and you need someone who will teach you how to do that. You let neither Najma nor I help you carry this burden so you need someone that you will let in, someone who would be able to give you the love that you so crave on the inside."

Asad's eyes glistened as he struggled to keep his emotions in check. Taking a deep breath he started to speak, "Ammi other then you and Tamatar I don't need anyone in my life. True I may be overworking myself...I may keep my emotions to myself but I can't always live with the weight of going back to how we were. I won't let you suffer; I need to work hard to make sure I solidify a safe future for us. I won't let my innocent sister live the life or carry the burdens that I had to and if I won't allow my family to carry this burden how would I do so with a stranger? Ammi I can't put another's future at stake just because I'm damaged...I won't."

"But Asad...," said Dilshad exasperatedly.

"But nothing Ammi."

Dilshad sighs, "Okay, still though, I want you to keep this. I've been saving it for my future bahu," she handed him a small navy blue ring box, seeing his hesitance she continued before asad could say anything, "I'm not forcing you into anything, this is just in case you find someone. You have to understand Asad that love is not something you can control; when, with whom and how you fall in love is not in your hands. One day you will find someone who will accept you, flaws and all just as you will her and when that day comes cherish it. Don't lose your love...because if you do it's not going to be easy getting it back again." Dilshad stood up and moved towards the door stopping just in front of it, "who knows, she might be right in front of your eyes, waiting for you."

Asad fiddled with the ring box as he heard the door fall shut. Sighing he walked to his bedside and placed the small box at his table, right next to his car keys and wallet.

She couldn't believe it! She had put all her resources into getting rid of that pest once and for all, but that Asad Ahmed Khan kept saving her all the time. So close, she had gotten so close to silencing that Neanderthal but she was saved within a hairs breath. "No...NO", she screamed as she toppled the lone chair beside her, "I have worked too hard, gone too far for all my plans to be spoiled because of a mere girl'', she spat with contempt. The first time she had tried to kill her she had sent goons after her in Mangalpur, there too Asad had saved her. Now she tried to kill her with an accident, it was risky as she had paid off a good for nothing truck driver to do the job but somehow he had saved her again, he was like her own personal angel in disguise. No more will she send little mice to do a cats work. "Now Ms. Zoya Farooqi I will make sure you don't live very long", she whispered with hatred in her eyes as an evil and twisted smile captured her face
