Asad slowly got up from his chair, admiring her beauty! How gorgeous the sari looked draped on her lovely figure.
The way her sari rested on her petite waist made him gasp.He reluctantly looked at her face. Her eyes were beautifully
lined with kohl, giving it depth and volume, and her lips were painted a pretty shade of pink.
Asad(thinking): Mesmerizing!! Such simple makeup is making her look like a goddess!
Zoya interrupted his line of thinking and coughed shyly: M-mr Khan?! Kaisi lag rahi hu? Wo maine sari pehli baar pehni hai
naa, toh thodi nervous hoon.
Asad cleared his throat : Aap thik lag rahi hai.
Zoya(eyes widening): Bas thik?!! Aur kuch nahi?
Asad: M-mera m-atlab hai, woh actually..
Zoya: Forget it Mr.Khan, aap ko toh ladkiyon ki taarif karni hi nahi aati! Ye lijiye , apni file.
As Asad held the file, their fingers slightly touched, sending shivers through Zoya's body.

Asad smiled at Mr.Khanna.
Asad: Dinner ke liye shukriya, Mr.Khanna.It was delicious. And congratulations for the deal. Ab hume chalna hoga.
Mr.Khanna : Itni asani se nahi, Mr.Khan. Itna important deal ki success party hai, Kuch toh entertainment hona chahiya.
Kyu na, dance se shuruaat ho? Mr Khan, aap dance toh kar lete ho na?
Asad: Nahi Mr Khanna! Mujhe yeh dance nahi aata.
Mr.Khanna kept persisting.
Mr Khanna: Thik hai, aap akele nahi kar sakte toh kya huwa!Itni beautiful secretary hai, uske saath nach lo.
He gestured towards Zoya.
Asad gave a deep sigh and walked slowly towards Zoya, who looked at him in a surprised manner.
Zoya(thinking): Oh no! Pata nahi, Inhe dance aata bhi hai ya nahi!! Agar mere sari pe step kiya toh?!
Asad held out his arm. Asad: Will you dance with me?
Zoya: Umm, wo Mr.Khan, Abhi abhi maine itna bada piece chocolate cake khaya hai! Mai dance nahi kar sakti!
Asad pleaded : Please, Ms Faruqi!
Zoya looked at him and unwillingly put her arm through his as the crowd widly cheered at the duo. They nervously went
towards the spotlight.
They turned towards each other. Zoya placed her arm on Asad's shoulder. Moments passed. Asad looked at her wildly. Zoya
Rolled her eyes.
Zoya: Mr.Khan, haath mere waist pe rakho. Asad looked at Zoya's waist.
Asad: Par Ms Faruqi, aap ka waist toh...toh exposed hai! Mai haath kaise rakhu?
Zoya's cheeks turned crimson red and she looked embarassed.
Zoya: Dekhiye, Mr Khan, Aap ko haath toh rakhna hoga na!
Asad slowly placed his hand on her waist . Zoya closed her eyes as his hard but warm hand settled on her cold petite waist.
Asad gulped nervously. The lights dimmed,Music played.
And the crowd was forgotten.'

The wafting notes made them look into each other's eyes. Their feet slowly moved and unknowingly, their heads cams closer.
It felt like the appropriate song for them. Asad thought about their first kiss, the passion in it. He looked at her lovingly,
noticing the way her beautiful bow-shaped lips opened a little.
'Iss dard e dil ki sifarish ab kar de koi yahan
Ke mil jaaye ise wo barish jo bhiga de puri tarah'
Zoya stared into Asad's intense brooding eyes, reminiscing the way he had saved her from the goons, The way he lifted and hugged
her gently and the way he took care of her that night. His face looked handsome under the spotlight and Zoya felt like
melting into his brown eyes.
'Tu jo mila to zindagi hai badli
Main puraa naya ho gaya
Hain be asar duniya ki baatein badi
Abb teri sunu main sadda
Milne ko tujhse bahane karoon
Tu muskuraaye vajah main banoon'
These lines made Asad wonder about the way Zoya had awakened the love in him, which he thought was no more after his father's betrayal. He had never let any girl change him like Zoya had did. His lips curved into a little smile at the last two verses.
Thus lost, they moved along, not noticing the cameras snapping or the people cheering. They felt complete.
Suddenly, a loud feminine voice shrieked 'ASAD!!!'
Rudely wakened from their dreamy state, both looked around confused. Asad stepped back and left Zoya to look around.
A woman smiled indulgingly at Asad. She wore a red glittery sari with red nailpolish. Her lips were painted a glittery red
and her hair was dyed brown. Zoya looked at her , wondering from where this 'Chammak Challo' came.
Suddenly, Asad leaned towards the woman and gave her a tight hug.
Zoya gasped loudly.
