An Insomniac's Drabble
It's nearly half three in the morning and sleep still evades me. So here I am...venting out on a Drabble that may be filled with more nonsense than sense 😔
Would be nice to know what you think...even if it is to say 'go to sleep, quit while your ahead' 😕
An uphill struggle a never ending plight
With emotions so raw how could anything ever be right
Tears of pain they did cry when all it took was one heartfelt smile
A little trust would have sufficed but all the did was fight fight fight
So hard were the days when they understood so little
Was ignorance so bliss...I think not
Hiding behind a veil of denial...really...how would that ever prevail
If Allah has willed it will definitely be
Fighting the inevitable is as silly as can be
The eyes cannot lie if the heart can feel
How long can you go on by hiding want you truly feel
Love will always find it's way
Through thick and thin it surely will win
One step forward two steps back
One step forward three steps back
It didn't take a mathematical genius to figure out the direction in which Asad and Zoya's relationship was heading.
But it also didn't take an emotional fool to realise that by the end of their march of little steps that they would be bound together by a love so deep.
It doesn't matter what world they came from, when you are brought together by an unstoppable force called love you all you have is an unconditional positive regard.
To have endured so much and to have been tested to such an extent, they still emerged hand in hand which proved that little can be done to tear away what is so pure.
Life is not the name of a boat that sails with ease, the good comes with the bad, the dark with the light, evil with innocence and hate with love. But it will alway be all things better that will succeed as Allah is always there to guide and help things heal.
So for Asad and Zoya no test is too small as their love will conquer all.
