RaQesh Vashisth
RaQesh was born on 1st September 1978.His father was in the army and his mother was a teacher. He has an elder sister Sheetal, whom he adores and respects alot. He comes from Pune.
In 1999 RaQesh won the title og Grasim Mr India. He entered bollywood and his first film debut was in 'Tum Bin' which was released in 2001. After that he did a few films which were not so successful.
RaQesh made his debut on the small screen on Zee in the serial 'Saat Phere'. He did a few shows after. In 2010 he was a part of Yash Raj's 'Seven'. It was her where he met his his future wife Ridhi Dogra, though they didnt have any scenes together. They became friends.
RaQesh got his big break when he got the part of Aditya Jakhar in Maryada ... Lekin Kab tak? He was opposite Ridhi. Their friendship grew and turned into love. They got married on 29th May 2011.
RaQesh Ridhi and his sister Sheetal run an NGO called 'Shyaam Chi Aai' where they support young children with their education to succeed in life.
After Maryada ended RaQesh was the lead in 'Honge Juda Na Hum'. He is at present participating in Nach Baliye 6 with his wife Ridhi. Being a non dancer and having no interest in dancing RaQesh has improved remarkably and is now also enjoying dancing.
RaQesh will now also be seen in 'Qubool Hai' as Asad Ahmed Khan.
Apart from being a talented actor, Raqesh is also a very talented painter, sculptor and photographer.
