Karan Singh Grovers quitting Qubool Hai was a shock, but the bigger shock was when reports came out claiming that Karan was reporting to the sets while being drunk or with a hangover. Fans took to Twitter to show their unity and support towards Karan. They trended #WeSupportKSG for 2 days straight. Apart from that, his quitting news and also the channel's outburst against him was one of the headline and topmost news on Google India Entertainment for almost 2 to 3 days.

Qubool Hai Under Fire For Weak Storyline After Firing Karan Singh Grover!

Qubool Hai, the show under spot light after the recent change of events has now come under fresh round of fire with a lot many questions arising about the show's content and cast. Questions like will Asad and Zoya ever come together? Will Zoya ever find her father? Will the new Asad be accepted? Will it be the same with the new Asad? Will Asya ever happen? Will the show ever be the same? Zee TV's Qubool Hai came under pressure long back with their incapability to move on from their current track. They have been repeatedly moving in rounds with the same story line. With same surprises back to back, the show has been disappointing the viewers for a long time. With firing Karan Singh Grover, the show has come under spot light and questions are asked about where the story is heading. The track around the main lead characters Asad and Zoya has kept the viewers hanging for a year now and, apparently, the viewers are getting impatient with it. The other interesting track about Zoya and her father has been stretched to its limits and even though there is no other route than to let them find each other, the makers are stubborn with keeping them apart. And the alternate tracks they adopted with the new character Haider and Humaira, Razia and Haider, Haseena and her daughter-in-laws and so on, every track has been disappointing the viewers. And the ultimate disappointment with them replacing their Asad, Karan Singh Grover with Raqesh Vashisth has yet to get some approval. Let's wait and watch if the show gets praises or goes into history as a failed show.

Yet another TV actor has been shown the door for unprofessionalism. This time, it's Karan Singh Grover, the male lead of Qubool Hai.

Says a source associated with the show, "Karan has a history of being unprofessional. He had done the same thing during Dill Mill Gayye, a show he left at its peak. While shooting forQubool Hai, Karan would either report to the shoot late or sometimes he wouldn't turn up at all.

Even when he came, he would shoot for a few hours and leave. He has been extremely unprofessional for the past few months, and that is the primary reason for his replacement. The production house had a difficult time altering the storyline constantly due to his unavailability. He would cite illness and then, we would get to know that he is holidaying. The story is going to reach a high point and at such a time, this kind of behaviour is not acceptable."

Ajay Bhalwankar, content head of the channel, confirmed the news, "No actor can hold shoots or dictate their terms and conditions to an extent that it hampers the show. We have initiated legal action against him." Karan could not be reached. We were told that he was out of town.

Will history repeat itself with the 4 Lions Films' show?
When Barun Sobti decided to explore new ventures, his show with Sanaya Irani, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon abruptly shut shop. 4 Lions Films and the channel bared the brunt of the blame game without complaints. Unfortunately, it seems to us like history is repeating itself with the production house.

It's been a year and two months since their last venture Qubool Hai hit the screens. The show enjoyed great numbers for a long time, coz of the chemistry and biology between the lead actors Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti. Since Karan quit the show in search of greener pastures, the show will be now taken ahead by the Maryada actor, Raqesh Vashisth.

Zee TV is calling Karan unprofessional and the dishy dude blames the channel officials of being egoistic, while the production house is keeping a safe distance from all the blame game. They are neither supporting nor refuting Karan or the channel. They've decided to cast Raqesh as Asad Ahmed Khan, but will the actor be able to draw the same popularity as KSG? For that, we will have to wait and watch.

If you remember, people had threatened to boycott Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, when the makers decided to cast Viraf Patel in place of Barun. So Gul Khan (producer) and Star Plus simply pulled the plug. However, Zee in no way is ready to end Qubool Hai yet, so they have requested the makers to just replace the actor. Will the replacement affect the numbers or not, remains to be seen. Raqesh will make his first appearance on the daily soap by January.

We hope the serial continues, Raqesh is able to step into Karan's shoes with ease and people let go of their obsession with KSG and Surbhi together. Fingers crossed!
