My personal view point - I am more inclined to believe Zee's version of events over Karan's. As pointed out, he went to a gossip mag instead of a reliable media outlet - why? Because they wouldn't proof check? He has constantly contradicted himself - one minute he's sick, the next he's not - what's the real story? Also, if Zee have really maligned him why hasn't he filed defamation already? Why threaten it and then come out with a statement saying that he doesn't want to file defamation. It's all fishy and it doesn't add up at all.

Sad thing is he was great as Asad till June/July and then the hair and the obvious look of disinterest just made it abundantly clear to people watching that he wasn't interested. Why tell his fans he wasn't quitting only to release an article that says he was always going to leave after a year? Why the hell would a PH sign a lead character's actor only for a year? Are they that stupid? The man has constantly contradicted everything he has said.

As someone pointed out - just last month Zee spent tons of money to enthral the fans of AsYa and QH with that shikara act - what happened then? They had the characters host the ZRA, gave them the best jodi award, possibly the sexiest act of the night but then decided to kick him out? He has to have done something big. Also, his whole I did the a favour by staying on - pretty sure he was getting paid for his appearance in these episodes, least he could have done is look the part!

personally, i am unable to buy the stories from both sides, they both have loopholes, and so many things adding up as i now recall certain previous btses and interview, as i have a tendency to note the noise and gestures in the vdos more than the actual interview.

according to me i am no one to blame anybody as i dont know the whole truth. all i am saying is that this situation should have been handled in a sophisticated way. that way the viewers, the fans and the involved parties would aal have been happy/satisfied.
