I am not sure what exactly is going on here...Did not manage to read everything thats been written on the topic...
For me, QH was a smooth transition after the way IPK ended...and that was due to Gul and KSG. I had rejected QH with the second episode I watched, but the script and the brilliance of KSG pulled me back in.👏 I am generally a person who does not get attached to an actor, but KSG was irresistible...he is... Aamir, Sharukh and Salman all rolled into one...absolutely amazing as a performer!👏
And although this news has still not fully sunk in...I am really really happy I watched QH ...got the opportunity to see a great actor working with a great creative team. The ride was not smooth, but the golden moments make it all worth it! I am thankful to KSG and Gul and SJ for making the show such a treat to watch.
So now Karan has moved on/ been forced to move on...rumours..truths..I don't know what.
ASad was written with just KSG in mind, I feel...it will be a Herculean task to fill those shoes...I am sure BS or GC would not be able to do that. So I am glad they are not the ones. Very few actors can portray the subtle intensity of Asad...I still can't believe how lucky I was to have watched KSG doing it.
Don't know who is the replacement...I did hear Raqesh Vashisht. I don't know much about him other than the fact that he is Riddhi's husband and have seen a few glimpses of his previous show in Sony. All The Best to him as he is trying to fill in a huge void left by KSG...I hope the team works out, though I cannot imagine anything in place of KaBhi...
Anyway, as Akshay Dogra- Raqesh's BIL, who was the Akash of IPKKND once commented: Every good actor in television should get an opportunity to work with GUl. That is how she taps the talent in her actors👏. Latest example being Mohit Sehgal, whom I always knew was promising. But it has taken a QH to showcase his talent. I hope the same will be true for whoever is replacing KSG...even though Asad is synonymous with KSG forever.
A word to Zee: Yes You have shown us who is the Boss...given every competitor of QH their Xmas gift...May I remind you that there are actors and there are stars...but few who combine both. KSG is undisputably the best actor in television and such huge talent might come with some eccentricities. We wish you had acknowledged and respected that talent and the fan's wishes before you took such an extreme step...U guys are plain stupid and egoistic! Sorry!
For KSG: Thank You once again for living and breathing Asad for 300 episodes...I often felt U gave too much of yourself to Asad. Hoping and praying this break is for the best...Really, I want something better to come your way.
For QH fans: This is life. It is unpredictable. Stop blaming any one and every one. Let us move on even though it is painful right now...at least they did not want to kill off Asad Ahmed Khan...and it is not fair to shut a show down for one actor...it is the livelihood of so many people.
For Gul fans: 😉 Yeh hameshaa Gul ke saath hi kyun hota hai?😕😳
