Hello!

A lot of members have signed up for the Winter || AsYa OS Contest ||, the deadline is 3 days away. But the sad part is I have received only 2 entries. The QH DT (Visha_Dhami) had also sent out reminder PM's.

Guys, it is either I get the entries by the 18th or we have to scrap the whole idea of the OS Contest. 2 members have put in a lot of effort and have sent in some wonderful stories!

I hope we can still make this work, as the whole forum & the DT were looking forward to some fabulous entries!

Hope to see the OS's in my inbox soon!

This forum dissappoints me. You guys work hard to put stuff up and then everyone says theyll take part and then varely get participation. And then people conplain about forum activity and ranks. Its a 50 50 job. You guys did your part and now members should be doing their parts those that said theyll take part. Otherwise why organize anything here?

Now this makes me very sad and disappointed!

I know a forum might not be a big deal for some people, but commitments and ethics are things that shouldn't be valued by looking at the context.

People, please understand the meaning of committing yourself to something.

I totally understand the priorities and of course, exams and work should be above this, but please let the people who will be affected by it know what is going on :)

Professionalism is also respected by others and it takes you a long way! Its never too early to grasp that! :)

I am sorry if you have to scratch the whole thing, Nisha!

My entry should be sent to you later tonight, just because of the terrible time difference between USA and India. I'll probably be in school when the deadline comes, so expect mine soon! (:
