Heyy everyone!!!😃 Here I have come with the next update today itself as I might not be able to update soon because of my project work!! And yes, there is a new character entry too!! Read to know about it!! 😉

Part 5:

Recap: As Asad and Zoya are in the restaurant with their families, they listen to a song and get nostalgic in its memories. Ayaan and Humeira meet each other in the restaurant and fight there too, but Asad and Zoya miss seeing each other. Zoya challenges Asad about a project analysis in the conference and Asad asks her to prove her point in the next 24 hours. It's raining, while Zoya's vehicle doesn't start and Asad offers her a lift back home. Meanwhile Ayaan's friends after listening about Humeira, plans to utilize this chance and get her locked in the lab after all the students have left...

Location: Zoya's Residence:

Shireen: Where are these two girls?? They can't even call and inform me if they are late??

Shireen was walking to the door and looking out for both and walking restlessly.

Shireen: Tannuuu!!!

Shireen called out Tanveer from her house and Tanveer came at the door of her house.

Tanveer: Haan Ammi???

Shireen: Did Zoya call you??

Tanveer ran through the rain and came to Shirin.

Tanveer: No Ammi. Why? She didn't come yet??

Shirin: No Tannu. Even Humeira has not come home. I am getting scared!

Tanveer: Ammi, you don't panic. They will reach in some time. Humeira said already that she will reach a bit late after her lab work. Well, I shall try Zoya's phone.

Tanveer tried Zoya's phone but it was switched off.

Shirin: Kya hua??

Tanveer: It's switched off.

Shirin: Ya Allah!! I wish they come soon!

Shirin sat at the chair near the door restlessly, while Tanveer too wondered why Zoya took so much time.

Location: In the college:

The guys moved towards Humeira and Samar kept his hand on her. Humeira tried to push him and run from there, but the other guys caught her. She started screaming, but no one could hear her.

Meanwhile Ayaan and Najma reached college.

Najma: Come fast Bhaijaan. I shall wait here.

Ayaan: Haan haan!! I will come soon.

Ayaan ran inside to get his lab report, while Najma waited in the nearby corridor for him.

Samar was catching hold of Humeira and Humeira bit his hand and he left the hold out of pain. She pushed the nearby rack of books over them causing all of them to fall down. She then rushed to the door, opened it and ran out.

Samar: (Getting up) Aahh!! (Rubbing his hand) Where will you go Humeira?? You can't escape today!!

Even they didn't leave her and ran back of her.

Ayaan came to his class, took the lab report and walked back to his bike through the corridor, while Humeira came running and hit on him.

Ayaan and Humeira were equally shocked to see each other that time. Ayaan saw Humeira in a disheveled state, with her hair all messed up, and her face filled with lots of fear.

Ayaan: What's wrong Humeira?? Why are you like this??

Humeira: Please help me!!! Those guys are chasing...in the lab...they locked me...they are...I actually...

Just then they all came running and stopped looking at Ayaan. Ayaan was looking at all of them surprised. Humeira caught hold of Ayaan's hand and clutched it tightly.

Ayaan: What's all this guys??

Samar: Ayaan, listen, this is a best chance to take your revenge on her. We will teach her such a lesson that she never ever dares to mess around with any guy in this college!! Leave her to us!!

Humeira was shocked knowing that they were Ayaan's friends. Humeira looked at Ayaan with tears in her eyes. Humeira cupped Ayaan's hands in hers. Ayaan was looking at her confused, as he himself didn't understand what was going on.

Humeira: (Crying) I am really sorry if I had hurt you so much. I thought you took all this as an ordinary college teasing, but never thought that it would hurt you so much, that you send your friends to take revenge on me!!

Ayaan was boggled hearing all that.

Humeira: (Crying) I am extremely sorry for irritating you. I don't want any notes from you too, but please don't give me such a big punishment!!! I come from a middle-class family. I have joined this college with so much dreams and my sister goes to work and educates me. At least for her sake, please have mercy on me and spare me!! I will never come in front of you only!! Please leave me!!!

Ayaan was emotional hearing all this from her.

Samar: (Walking towards her) What do you think?? You speak such sympathetic dialogues and Ayaan will forgive you?? Never!!

He went to touch Humeira, when Ayaan caught his hand back and gave two tight slaps on his face.

Samar and his friends were shocked and so was Humeira. Meanwhile Najma too came there searching for Ayaan and was confused looking at the scene.

Ayaan: What did you all think about me?? That Ayaan will stoop low to any extent for taking revenge on others?? Even I have a sister!! I respect women a lot, no matter they are good or bad!!

Humeira was surprised and elated to hear that from Ayaan. Najma was smiling proudly at her brother.

Ayaan: And you guys?? How cheap are you all?? Don't you have sisters?? Will you let any guy behave to your sisters like this?? And you used my name to get your cheap satisfaction fulfilled!!

They all looked down and didn't look at Ayaan only.

Ayaan: Don't even dare to come in front of my eyes hereafter!! Get lost, before I thrash you all up! Get lost!!!

All of them left the place and Najma came to Humeira.

Najma: Are you all right Humeira??

Humeira: Najma?? How are you here this time??

Ayaan: Najma is my sister. I forgot my lab report and had to come all way back to get it and she too had to join me.

Humeira: Ohh!! Ayaan is your brother??

Najma: Haan!! And yeah Humeira, my Bhaijaan is not as bad as you think. He might be very playful and tease others a lot, but he never does such things to anyone, especially girls.

Humeira: (looking at Ayaan) Thank you and sorry too!!

Ayaan: Why thank you?? Why sorry?

Humeira: Thank you, for saving me from those guys and sorry, that I thought you only send that guys to take revenge on me.

Ayaan: That's all right!! No sorry, no thank you, among friends!! Well, friends??

Ayaan extended his hand to her and Humeira too smiled and gave her hand to him.

Najma: But Bhaijaan, you should do something about these fellows! What an ill act were they about to do?? And what would have happened to Humeira if we had not come here??

Ayaan: Haan Najma. I am speaking about this to our Chairman tomorrow only. I will make sure they get the maximum punishment. Well, Humeira, how are you going home??

Humeira: Wo, I was supposed to go with my friend Pooja, but she left I guess. I have to go by an auto now.

Ayaan: Okay! Najma, get her bag and things and make her fresh. What will her parents think if she goes home like this? In the mean time, I will get an auto here.

Humeira went with Najma to get her things. In some time, Ayaan came with an auto and Humeira came with her things and got in the auto and left.

Humeira was thinking about all the incidents that happened in that single day.

Auto driver: Behen Ji!!

Humeira: Haan??

Auto driver: He is your boyfriend?? The one who was with you??

Humeira: Uhh...no no!! Why did you feel that way??

Ayaan: Wo, he is coming in the back only to check if I am taking you properly home. That's why!! (Smiling)

Humeira turned back and saw through the window, Ayaan coming in bike with Najma, back of the auto only. Humeira smiled looking at Ayaan's concern for her and felt bad on how she troubled such a nice guy all these days.

Location: In Asad's car:

Asad's car stopped suddenly and Asad tried starting the car, but in vain. He got out and checked what was wrong. He then came to Zoya.

Asad: Wo...the car battery has gone off. There is no mechanic shop also nearby.

Zoya: It's okay. I shall walk and go. Thank you!!(This time she said it in a soft manner)

Zoya got out and walked in the rain, while Asad took his umbrella and ran to Zoya.

Asad: Well, keep this umbrella with you. You catch cold fast if you get wet so much...

Asad stopped his sentence in the middle and Zoya too looked at Asad surprised, that he still remembers every detail about her.

Asad: Actually...Ammi tells me...that people catch cold easily in rain...that's why...Okay you leave. I will get your scooty repaired tomorrow morning by a mechanic.

Zoya walked with Asad's umbrella, while Asad looked on.

Humeira too reached her home and she turned back to Ayaan.

Humeira: Thank you so much!!

Ayaan: I said right?? No thank you?? Okay, then we are leaving. Bye!!

Humeira: Well, come and meet my Ammi and sister na??

Ayaan: Ohh! It's actually too late Humeira. Ammi will be searching for us and Najma will fall sick if she roams around in wet dress for some more time. I will come some other day. And don't tell what all happened to your Ammi or sister. Let it be within us three. Okay then, bye!!

Ayaan went in his bike and Humeira looked on with a smiling face. As she was about to enter home, she saw Zoya coming.

Humeira: Baaji!! You are coming now only??

Zoya: Humeira?? Haan, my scooty had a repair as usual. So, I came with...with my M.D. Chalo, let's go in.

Tanveer: Ammi!! Zoya and Humeira have come!!

Shireen came running to both of them and hugged them both.

Shireen: Where were you both this much time?? Can't you at least contact us from a public telephone booth, if you both are coming late?? And look at how drenched you are Zoya. Tannu, get the towel.

They both sat down, while Tanveer and Shirin took care of them both.

Location: Asad's Residence:

Asad, Ayaan and Najma reached home together and Dilshaad came to them.

Dilshaad: Where were you three??? And how come you all are coming together??

Ayaan: Long story Mom!! I and Najma went to drop her friend home, and while coming back, we saw Bhaijaan standing there with his car. Then I left Najma with him and got a mechanic, and got his car all set and huuhh...here we are!!

Rashid: It's a pretty long story! Okay, go change and come for dinner.

Location: Zoya's Residence:

Zoya and Humeira were lying down in their bed, while both were not sleeping and were very thoughtful.

Zoya: (thinking) Why do I feel I did a mistake?? May be I should have enquired things to him?? Did I run into a decision hastily?? Ya Allah!! Asad's thoughts are disturbing me a lot!! (She looked at his umbrella and was thinking about that day's incidents)

Humeira: (thinking) If Ayaan had not come there, I don't even realize what would have happened to me today. He is such a nice guy and I troubled him a lot. And he was kind enough to drop me till home. I have to let him know my gratitude.

Meanwhile at Asad's home, Asad was checking his analysis.

Asad: Ohh no!! I left to see these points. It means...Zoya was right. So, I am supposed to apologize to her...in front of everyone???

Asad pressed his temples thinking about the insult he is going to face the next day.

Other than these three, there was one more person who wasn't sleeping and was in thoughts; Ayaan. He was reading a book, but his mind was somewhere else. He was thinking about Humeira's words.

Ayaan: Poor girl!! She is coming from such a financially-challenged family, and yet she studies well and what did I do?? I ruined her book and fought with her without knowing all this. I must apologize to her.

Ayaan got up and took Humeira's notebook which she gave him, and took out a new notebook. He sat down and started writing down everything from the starting, neat and tidy in the new notebook.

Location: Next day at office:

Tanveer was eating her breakfast in her table, while Zoya was in thoughts. Only they both were there, as Zoya had to reach office earlier than others, according to Asad's command. Since Zoya didn't have her vehicle with her, Tanveer had to drop her.

Tanveer: Zoya!!

Zoya: Huh??

Tanveer: Why are you so tensed?? Your analysis is right only yeah?? Then what??

Zoya: Yeah it is. But...

Tanveer: What but?? You are going to win in your challenge and our M.D. is going to apologize to you publicly. You are supposed to be happy about it yeah??

But Zoya was disturbed with the rainy night incident. After some time all staff had arrived and all were equally interested in seeing the climax of the cold war between Asad and Zoya.

All of them gathered in the conference hall and Asad too came inside. He stood in the front and took a glance at Zoya. Asad was all prepared to apologize to all.

Asad: Ehemm...well..

Zoya got up from her seat.

Zoya: Good Morning everyone!!

Asad looked at her confused.

Zoya: Well, I apologize to everyone regarding my challenge yesterday. The analysis which I made was...wrong!!!

Tanveer looked at Zoya shockingly and so did Asad.

Zoya: I should not have accused the M.D without prior knowledge. I am sorry Sir. Sorry everyone!!

Asad didn't understand what was going on; as he knew he was wrong and was wondering why Zoya is taking up the blame.

All of them started discussing about how over confident Zoya was and how she accused the M.D very daringly and insulted him. Asad then called off the meeting and all left including Zoya.

Asad: (thinking) Why did Zoya do like this?? She never has the habit of taking up blames like this. Well, I should speak to her about this.

Asad went out and walked to Zoya's table, when he saw her speaking with Tanveer.

Tanveer: What happened to you Zoya?? Why did you tell that you were wrong, when you were actually right??

Zoya: Wo...I could have said I am right and made him apologize to me. But, it will be a matter of great insult for a M.D to apologize to his employee in front of all the staff. That's why I thought to take up the blame myself.

Saying so, Zoya left while Asad who was hearing it all smiled thinking that Zoya gave heed to his respect and took up the blame. Tanveer too was smiling to herself.

Tanveer: (in her mind) What you said is just half of the truth Zoya. You didn't take this decision as a secretary, but as Zoya!! Zoya's concern towards her love made her do this. This is enough for me!! Now see how I make you accept your love for him in some days!!

Location: Next day at Asad's cabin:

Asad was looking at the files, when Zoya came to get her assignment from Asad. Asad thought of thanking her for what she did last day.

Zoya: Sir, you are supposed to give me the next assignment.

Asad: Yeah. Well, before that...

Zoya knew what Asad was going to tell.

Asad: Thank you for telling that...

Zoya: Sir, I did it just because I did not want to be a reason for people to mock at you. That's it and it had no other intentions. Please don't get any idea!

Asad gave a helpless look, thinking that she will never change.

Asad gave her the instructions for the next assignment, when Asad got a call from the receptionist telling that the new employee wants to meet him and Asad asked to send to his cabin.

Someone knocked the door.

Asad: Yes, come in!!

The door opened and Zoya turned to see who it was. There stood a tall girl, in pointed heels, black satin top and blue jeans, with black wavy hair, complimenting to her beauty. Zoya stood up looking at her. She came and stood opposite Asad.

"Mehwish! Mehwish Mohammed!"

She extended her hand to Asad and Asad too extended his hand and introduced himself. Zoya was feeling uncomfortable with their hand shake and pretended not to mind it.

Asad: Well, Ms. Mehwish, this is Ms. Zoya Farooqi, my personal secretary. You can get any sort of assistance from her. And Ms. Zoya, she has been appointed as the senior designer in our company.

Zoya: Ohh!! Hello!!

Zoya, very much disinterested gave hand to her.

Mehwish: Nice meeting you Zoya!

Zoya: Same here.

Asad: Well Ms. Zoya, you may leave now. Start the work accordingly as I have given. Ms. Mehwish, take your seat. I will explain your work basis.

Zoya took her letter pad and walked out. She sat in her workspace and instead of starting the work, she was very much restless.

Tanveer: Heyy Zoe!! You saw her?? That Ms. California??

Zoya: Who??

Tanveer: Areyy!! The one who came to Asad Sir's cabin now!!

Zoya: Ohh!! That one??(She was least interested in speaking about her)

Tanveer: She has come from California. And know what??? She has won the Miss Beautiful Face title last year!! She is so gorgeous right??

Zoya: Oh!! Well.where is that green file Tannu??

Zoya just wanted to avoid hearing about her.

Tanveer: And you know...

Zoya: Will you shut up for a while and let me work Tannu??? Did I ask you her biography?? Allow me to work na.

Tanveer: (smiling and looking at her friend) Archu!! Can you smell something burning???(Referring to Zoya's fire of jealousy which just now started with sparks)

Zoya stared at Tanveer and Tanveer continued doing her work, as if she didn't see anything. Just then Mehwish came to Zoya's table. Zoya looked at her.

Mehwish: I need my work related files and M.D. has asked me to collect from you.

Tanveer was stealing glances at Zoya and Mehwish and was enjoying the scene.

Zoya took out the file which had her work details and handed over to Mehwish. She got it and as she was about to go, she turned back at Zoya.

Mehwish: Well Zoya??

Zoya: Yes??

Mehwish: Is Mr.Asad married??

Zoya opened her eyes wide open, hearing her question. She was thinking why did she want to know that.

Zoya: Uhh...I don't know!!

Tanveer: Arey Zoya!! You don't know this also?? (Looking at Mehwish) Well, he is not married. He is single!

Zoya gave such an angry glare at Tanveer, which could almost burn Tanveer alive.

Zoya: (to Mehwish)Well, why did you ask that??

Mehwish: Just to see if I have any hurdles!!!

She gave a naughty smile and went to her cabin, while Zoya didn't understand what she meant.

Zoya: Hey Tannu!! What did she mean by the last line??

Tanveer: You didn't understand that also?? She meant to ask, if she has any Kabab mein Haddi!! She got happy when she came to know, there is no one. Simple!! Okay, I will have tea and come.

Zoya: Hmm...Okay.

Tanveer went and Zoya threw her pen in frustration.

Zoya: (In her mind) I already have lots of problems and there comes one more to increase my tension!! Mehwish!!! Well, why do I have to bother if she is here?? I am here to work and I am doing that now. That's it!! Let any one come. I just don't care!

Zoya concentrated back in her work, but Mehwish's entry really affected her a lot unknowingly.

Meanwhile, Tanveer went to Mehwish's cabin.

Tanveer: Excuse me!!

Mehwish: Yes??

Tanveer: Hi!! I am Tanveer. And you are??

Mehwish: I am Mehwish, alias Zoya's new enemy!!!

Tanveer and Mehwish looked at each other for five seconds and burst out laughing.

Tanveer: Hahah!! Arey Waah!! You act far better than I expected yaar!! Good!

Mehwish: Haha!! You know na, acting is my favorite past time. But I din't expect such a role for me, along with my new job.

Tanveer sat down near Mehwish.

Tanveer: It is destiny Mehwish. Or else why would you call me all of a sudden last night and tell me you got a job here when I was actually waiting for a proper plan to expose Zoya's love?? So I thought of utilizing you only for my plan!!

Mehwish: But seriously, the look Zoya gave me when I was asking about Asad Sir was unbelievable!! My God!!!

Tanveer: She just has one problem. Her ego!! I want her to get rid of that. And for that, only a third person's entry would be the best treatment. But thank you so much Mehwish!! You don't know what a great favor you have done for me!

Mehwish: Come on Tannu!! We are childhood besties and when you ask me something, won't I help you?? And if two people realize their love because of me, it's my pleasure!! If Zoya is your best friend, she becomes my best friend too. So, what is my next assignment??

Tanveer said her next plan and Mehwish showed thumbs up to Tanveer. As Tanveer was about to go,

Mehwish: And thanks to you too!

Tanveer: Why??

Mehwish: In just one day, you made me beauty queen of California, when I don't even know how California looks!!!

They both laughed at it and Tanveer left the place, before Zoya could see them together.

Precap: Asad tells Zoya that they both must go to the Delhi office to finalize a project to which Zoya objects citing a fake reason to avoid going with Asad. Tanveer instigates Zoya that mostly Mehwish might accompany Asad to Delhi, as she is not going. Zoya then goes to Asad and tells that she would join him. Asad is confused looking at her sudden change of mind. Tanveer tells Mehwish that this trip might bring a change in both. Meanwhile, Humeira goes to Ayaan's house with him and Najma and they introduce her to Dilshaad and Rashid. While Rashid goes to drop Humeira back home, he meets Shirieen and gets a pleasant surprise.
