He didn't realize that he had said the last question out loud, to which he got a response from his brother, "Kaun bhaijaan? Kaun kahaan hai?" "Zo...M..Miss Farooqui, Miss Farooqui nahin dikhai de rahi.." And he watched how everybody's faces changed from wonder to shock as soon as he asked that. Najma looked like she signaled Imran, who said, "Bhaijaan.. Aap ye kya keh rahe hai? Zoya toh aapke saath hi toh gayi thi yahaan sai."

He couldn't believe his ears, here he was hoping to get a glimpse of his love, and trying to speak to her but all this didn't make sense. If Zoya wasn't here, where was she? And why did they think she was with him? "Mere saath, aisa aapko kisne kahaa Imraan Miya, unhone toh mere saath aane se mana kar diya tha" Asad replied. "Ji bhaijaan, lekin aapke jaane ke kuch hi din baad unhone kahaan tha ki unse bohot badi bhool huwi hai aur who aapke paas New York jaa rahi hain..." informed Najma very quietly, taking in his expressions every second.

"New York? Miss Farooqui ne toh mujhse kabhi bhi baat karne ki koshish nahin ki..actually I changed my number.. so how.." muttered Asad, still not being able to process that his mother was in the hospital, barely breathing and his Zoya wasn't even here, infact no one knew where she was.

Asad slumped down on the bed. Ayaan had suggested that he take Asad to his home to rest, as it had been a hard day for him. As they stopped at Khan Villa, Asad saw that there was no one there, he saw that no one lived there and it looked like it had been shut for years. His heart ached, and he couldn't step in, he asked Ayaan to take him to a hotel.

"Bhai..Bhaijaan, meine Zoya se baat ki thi unk.." "Kya? Zoya se? Kab? Kaisi hain who? Tumne mujhe kabhi kuch bataya kyun nahin?" "Bhaijaan, meri baat to suniye.." Asad calmed himself, and nudged Ayaan to go on. "Unhone bas itna bataya tha ki unse bohot badi galati huwi aapka haath na thamne ki, aur wo is galati ko sudhaarna chahti hain..lekin uske baad aaj tak unse baat nahin huwi, mujhe bhi yahaan pohochne ke baad hi ye sab pata chala" Ayaan couldn't hold it in, and he broke down, "Ye sab kya ho gaya bhaijaan, Hu..Humeira ne bhi mujhe chod diya, Badi Ammi hospital mein, or Mona..Mona ka kuch pata nahin.. ye sab kya ho raha hai bhaijaan!" And he sunk to his knees, Asad dropped down to his level and hugged him and said, "Sab theek ho jaeyga Ayaan, tum fikr mat karo, I'm not going anywhere til I fix this."

And he looked on with determination.

I decided that I would let you guys read Part 2, and decide if it's any good, don't worry Zoya will make an entrance soon, but not just yet.
