In a way probably, its just my guess as CVs have not shown it till now. But i can see a person grown up with such a hatred could have been in the same state when he was in student age. And its not impractical. sometime mothers in a state like Dilshad think and get worried about his child because he is still yet to be mature enough to understand this whole situation. Also he is not even done his studies. By going against his wishes he could also loose him at a very wrong stage.

Due to Asad , Rashid stayed away from Dilshad...🤣

In the beginning of QH they clearly said that Rashid is meeting his first family after 17 years...

Asad is a human being he lived 17 years without his father..

He saw his mothers struggling to grow up him and his sister...

He saw his father leading a luxurious life with another woman and children...

There is a big difference in seeing and really seeing what life is he going through. Even for that matter Asad also is leading luxurious life after he became successfull, but as viewers we know what life he is going through. So how realistic is this way of thinking that Rashid was all happy leaving behind his loved ones.

Rashid didn't try to meet his first family in these 17 years...

Then you are saying Asad is the culprit...

It is so easy for Assad to hate his father Rashid. Because he is not binded by relation. It pricked him when his mother was taken away now, Then what pain even Rashid could have gone through all these years who loved his family but could not be with them or support them.

if he wld have forgiven his father easily then i wld have hated asad more but now i like him more

Now I am guessing it's only because of Assad behavior rashid could not see dilshad or able to meet her. Assad only developed hatred which grew as he grew up.
