But their polarity in thoughts and conflicts is what makes them asya. yes i hate zoya on many occasions. And ive hated asad too on occasion because of their injustice to their partners but thats what relationships are. The beauty of asyas relationship is no matter how much they disagree, they come through it, see the situations through in some way..and meet together at the end.

I wonder what exactly is the purpose of this show? Ehh reforming asad?! Because so far everyone is doing this only. Prove him wrong at every step and make him realize how wrong he is. But the truth is he's not the one who's wrong, it's people around him that force him to admit he's wrong. One can only imagine how the person must be feeling when after sacrificing everything for your loved ones and still no one acknowledging that. From very start zoya has been complaining about how asad is forcing his ideas over her and asad rectified that. But what about zoya haven't she been doing the same ? And not even ready to stop her bullshit.

Honestly I don't even find asad and zoya compatible enough to last together. Although I know creatives have their own twisted ways to make them 'look' compatible , after all they are lead couple and should be together lol. But i can see that every time such circumstances will surface, zoya will blame asad only... There's only so much a person can take. Now cv's better start working on zoya's character... Or I don't see any point of asad-zoya relationship.

While Asad is severing ties with his father, Zoya believes in keeping them no matter what. This is what made them clash today.
None of them was wrong.
And its brilliant how later it will be Asad who'd forgive his father and it will be Zoya who severs ties with Ghafoor.
They do not need to break up because their love for each other is a lot bigger than their ideologies. Because, like Asad himself said, they complete each other.

well said👏

I'm a little conflicted on this issue.
I feel like Zoya has the right intensions, to an extent, but her execution is wrong.

Say what you will, but I think that Asad NEEDS to forgive Rashid or at least make peace with his past. The burning hatred that Asad feels for Rashid is not at all healthy. It hinders Asad and stops him from developing emotionally. I'm not saying that Asad should just forget about everything Rashid did to his family and play happy family. What I'm saying is that Asad needs to let go. He needs to recognize that Rashid feels bad for what he did and that's it. Asad isn't obliged to go and play happy family with Rashid. But he does need to forgive Rashid, for his own sake. Remember, forgiveness isn't just for the person receiving it, but also for the person giving it. Forgiveness heals the soul. It's acceptance and letting go and moving on. It does not mean forgetting, rather accepting.

So in a sense, I can kinda, if I squint my eyes, see where Zoya is coming from.

That said, I'm very curious to see how this will play into the whole Zoya and Gaffur conflict. I really can't wait for that storyline to start. There's so much potential there. Really hope the creatives don't mess it up.

Anyways, Asad and Zoya are not perfect. But their imperfectness is what makes them so great for each other. He reminds her to be serious and she makes him relax and get looser. Personally, I don't think that it's always Asad whose been shown to be needing to changed. In fact, more often that not, I think Zoya comes across as the one needing to be changed, especially with her impulsiveness.

I actually want to meet the person who made this stupid concept that to be able to move on and make peace with your past you need to forgive...

I mean, to me at least it sound illogical...Yes, to move on you need a closure, but a closure doesn't mean you have to forgive...

I don't think a person who has been wrongd by anyone needs to forgive him/her to get a be able to move on...I mean, does a victim needs to forgive her/his assaulter to move on...?? I don't think so, he/she needs a closure which they can have only when the assaulter is in jail and being punished for his/her deeds...

So to me at least Asad forgiving Rashid for his own self has no logic...He needs a closure, not a new wound on his soul that Rashid will give him at some point...

I don't think Rashid can be forgiven for abandoning Asad and Najma, no matter what reason he could have...As a father, he can't be forgiven...NEVER...

when zoya asked asad in the first scene you r talking about our wedding and you dont look happy at all, asad said my happiness is gone with my mom.

asad is very much attached to his ammi and going to NY is not a solution , as zoya said he is running from truth.that happens with everyone who looses there loved ones.

I disagree. I do not think Asad and Zoya should break up, because even then what they are right now won't change for the better. Zoya won't suddenly mature (which she most definitely needs to) and Asad will not suddenly be less impulsive or sensitive or a more calmer person because they broke up. They'll yet be incomplete. Asad needs a bit of calm in his life, a source of influence that makes him see things in a different light that he has grown up seeing. And not for forgiving anyone else or a man who doesn't deserve to be forgiven, but so that his own heart can stop paining. Zoya needs maturity and to be less brash, and being with Asad that behaviour does come under control.
Zoya had agreed to go with him initially even leaving her life long dream aside, but she refused later only because she saw him writhing in anger and hurting himself more than anything else. She knows he has been paining all life and will keep paining all life if he doesn't face the situation and rather runs away. He will be able to MAYBE fight the memories of his family he is running away from, but he cannot suddenly stop feeling the pain because he shifted to a new country. This showed she cared about the fact that he was burning himself in this more than anything else and she couldn't see that.

Of course Zoya is not entirely right, because she doesn't seem to understand why Asad is not ready to forgive Rashid or give him a chance, and she won't understand that until her fathers truth comes out in the open. She has very less understanding of relations and sensitivity to deal with them. She merely goes by her instincts and what her heart tells her to.

I entirely side Asad here too, atm if he really wants to run away from here, I do not see his POV as wrong either. He has been abandoned twice, and in both the situations, whether his childhood or now he has lost out on everything he had. If he feels he does not deserve this pain and does not deserve to be walked over and wants to escape I entirely relate to him. Because a human being can only take this much.

I'm sorry but I don't understand why everyone expect asad to forgive rashid? Rashid is nothing but one spineless coward person who can't even stand for his own wife and children. If this has been some real life situation... Would you expect asad to forgive his so-called father who left them alone to face the world when he was mere a child? Sorry but it's not easy to forgive such things. His conscious won't ever allow him to forget that painful life his mother and sister has to live because of that person. Zoya is indirectly crushing his ability to make decisions by questioning them every freakin time. Do you even realize how much damage this could do to one's personlity and self-esteem.

Zoya's biological parents are not with her...so she thinks Asad is more fortunate than her...he has parents but still feels orphaned...she does not understand this concept...how will she...she does not know she was abandoned...when she faces that she will understand...Asad is very angry...all the hatred in his heart is justified...usko jaana hai...shauk se jaye...but she knows woh bhi man maarke jaane ka decision le raha hai...Asad took a decision in anger...and in any corner of the world...a decision driven by anger is always wrong...we all feel bad for Asad..life has been very unfair to him...he never got his due...but if Asad is not wrong...even Zoya isn't

Rashid is pathetic and it's heartbreaking to see AsYa fight because of that sorry excuse of a man...but just because Zoya holds a different POV, which by the way is totally sane in it's place, doesn't mean they need to break up...Asad is not wrong in his place either..if people started breaking up due to different POVs..no relationship would last...woh relationship hi kya jisme apni baat na keh sako
