This will be a dumb question but do babies really move like that inside the womb? I have never really seen a pregnancy in my life so this just amazes me.

Oh yes! They do! Towards the end of the prenancy you can feel the shape of the baby very clearly and see the belly of the mother move as the baby shifts and moves around, if the baby is an active one.
Mum always tells me how I was always awake and never let her sleep for too long!
