Someday you have to marry, that is if you are inclined that way. Regrets and what ifs are part of life not just limited to relationships and marriage. You are never going to get that feeling that yes I have done all I wanted to and now I am willing to settle down. Important thing is to sort out what is important to you. Career, family, love, money, nature, personality, looks, etc. Once u can prioritize this, decision making becomes easier.

I encouraged her to make a list of what she wants in a life partner. Doesn't matter if its love marriage or arranged. I know I am making it sound like a very objective decision with lists and all. But that's me. My hubby is introverted. He does not make friends or does not enjoy going out. He is okay to participate if I make plans. This is our biggest problem in life. I joke with him that since I married him I went from Shahid Kapoor to AK Hangal overnight. Forever young to forever old. 😆 If I had been objective at the time of decision making, I would have either first changed him or dumped him for another who had a more outgoing personality.🤣

She had a list of things she looked for in guys. My mom mocked her for the longest time (my mom runs a marriage bureau). You want examples?

Should be an only child.

Extended family should be limited,

US preferred but if in India car, driver, cook is must.

If not outgoing, willing to experiment.

Must be atleast 5'8" so she can continue to wear her heels.
Etc.

Trust me she took her time, over 3 years. This guys fits the bill perfectly. And still she complains about him. Coz its not the guy, its her mindset. The day that changes, things will work out fine.
