Sona, writers rose up to the occassion and we saw 'Mohabbat ki Jeet', hope this time too Gul will not disappoint and correctly send out the message that polygamy is unacceptable. I have read on Internet that even in Islam men are prohibited from polygamy unless absolutely necessary, if it is true then what Rashid wants to do should be impermissible.

Why are we even considering this option, would educated people like Asad and Zoya ever agree to this? I would be thoroughly disappointed if they do!

And also I believe that until the first wife consents, a man cannot marry again... so did Rashid ask Dilshad if he could marry Shireen?

Asad and Zoya are strong individuals who'll never bow to such compromises. Didn't Zoya walk out on Asad when she thot he cheated on her with Tanveer? But Rashid stays in his own make-believe world i guess or probably years of staying with Shireen has rubbed on him! How disgusting of him to even suggest something of the sort. 😡

Wonderful post..! Raashid has gained in confidence after seeing his son stand up to protect his love but he needs to realize that he should have done this years back and not now. i guess rashid is all set to play the 'mohabbat ki tauheen hogi' card that zoya played but he has been doing just that for the past so many years.. i hope azad gives him a piece of his mind though i have a feeling zoya will take raashid's side. i hope that doesn't happen!

Please don't get mad but in my humble opinion I think this tract is going to lead to Rahsid's death but befor that he will return to Dilshaad...SM house including Ayaan will blame Dilshaad for his demise...

Logically speaking I can't see how Dilshad could still passionately love this man . From a woman's point of view .. Hell No. !!
Please after so many years . Ok I will agree if you were separated and both were never married . But he left for another woman and married her .. and have children . Seriously a normal woman will spit venom after the first week once his name is mentioned. I don't know where this story line is going but this is nauseating and unreal .

Agreed! At times there is no solutions to the problems, simply because its once own doings and then there are only consequences. Instead of picking up the messed pieces people like Rashid choose to scatter the bits more!

From Dilshad's POV... I am not justifying her, neither I consent to her considering about this man a bit, but still... she forgave Rashid and accepted him with Ayaan when he brought him home! She took a huge leap of faith then, simply because her love for Rashid is probably all-consuming. And she saw him close to death that rendered her in such a vulnerable spot. Since the beginning, Rashid is her weakness... and I think that's the problem. When one's love becomes one's weakness.. there is probably no rationality left to what ensues. Asya love is their strength that has helped conquer even the test of "mukaddar" but Dilshad's love is her weakness... it's taking her down effortlessly!

The problem is Rashid has become Dilshad's weak nerve and Rashid is aware of this... probably the only reason he could utter these words to her because he knew he could get away with the same. Why didn't he have the nerve to muster the same suggestion to Shireen? Coz he knows... what tornado that would invite and he has no guts to face it!

Nikita, agree completely. However, again from a slightly less "evolved " perspective, the technicalities leave several possibilities open.

I really hope that Dilshaad calls him out. At the same time though I can see how horrible this will make her feel. He played the aahkri kwaaish angle on her. He is not his mothers son for nothing.

Then again, from the writers angle we have the whole ishq par zor nahi thing... You cannot control who you love. Just as the taa umr principle was turned on its head, will we see that yes, you cannot control who you love, but you can choose what you will do about it.

So that means Rashid while enjoying his bargained freedom, never let Dilshad go or give her the freedom to move on in her life ( I know she wudn't ever had but still he kept his bounds with her!) The conversation was a draw on the characters and wud be resulting in a lot of drama that is to ensue. There's no forgiveness to infidelity and two-timing coz u play with the faith of a person and before walking out on Dilshad, didn't Rashid father Ayaan from Shireen?... all the while stabbing in her back? So why this portrayal of victimization now?

Excellent point! And i also love your point about love being her weakness rather than her strength.

classic case of shunning the duties but still wanting to enjoy the rights... I recommend Rashid join politics... the current bunch of useless netas are his category 🤢😆

He goes about begging and pleading to Dilshaad, hoping she'll forgive him? Has she already? I'm afraid she has.

Yup, she has... long back i guess

When he was living a life of luxury in SM, his love was struggling to survive.
Did he even bother supporting her, let alone help!

Exactly... the kids were his responsibility too. But it was all left upto Dilshad

He needs to pay for all the years he has lost!😡

True... but whatever he does will never enuf for what he has done or could have done but didn't!
