The Secure & The Insecure: Nov 5
The secure: Asad & Zoya
True, unconditional love gives us the strength to be secure in our relationships. Often, no words are needed when one feels secure in a relationship. Yesterday's showdown at the SM has empowered both Asad and Zoya with that security that no matter what, no one can ever break the love and trust they have for each other. That's probably the reason they didn't have a long drawn conversation after arriving at the KV. Things were back to square one- their banter, her mess, his OCD, her shayari and their own style of romance (song and dance.) The kiss was a welcome addition and why am I not surprised that Zoya took the initiative to make their life a bit more thrilling'?
I know we all expected a heart to heart chat. Asad did talk about not running away from the nikaah but his statement -- main ab kabhie haar nahin maanunga"was the biggest lesson Asad has learnt through these recent tumultuous times. We all know Asad and Zoya will face many more hurdles but their new resolution to not bow down to muqaddar' and not let anyone defeat their mohabbat' is what's going to carry them forward through all the coming tides.
Couples have unique ways of communicating. Some communicate with words, others with romance, others with banter, others with fights and others with pure physical pleasure. I won't say one is better than the other as long as they understand, trust and love each other. Asad & Zoya have their unique way too- let them decide how and when they want to communicate. Who are we to judge them?
The secure: Dilshaad & kids
Dilshaad is one unique mother who has always supported her kids, taught them to do the right thing and always kept the lines of communication open with them. No wonder, she has always advised them to follow their heart and be good to others. It was heartening to see her rejoice at Asad's ability to claim his love in front of everyone. Her advise to Najma was heartwarming and very appropriate for any loving mother who is secure about herself and her relationships in life.
The secure?: Najma & Imran
Yes, there is a question mark there. While, Najma was stunned by Imran's revelation, she has decided to give Imran a second chance because she loves him dearly. His apology did sound genuine and because Najma has learnt to forgive and forget in her life, she has accepted Imran's apology. Her words: please never give me a chance to mistrust you again ring ominous to me. Why do I feel Imran will break her trust again? Imran got off way too easily and that's why I feel he hasn't learnt his lesson the hard way. People seldom change unless they get a life changing lesson from life. No wonder, Asad and Zoya have changed so much because they have gone through hell. Imran hasn't, so I expect rough times ahead for this couple.
The secure: Nikhat & Najma
So far, they have been the best of friends and best of sister in laws/sisters. They trust and love each other but why do I feel, Shireen's curse will backfire again. Nikhat's wedding will be under threat. Haseena will play divide and rule. Will Nikhat and Najma's relationship get affected in future?
The Insecure: Shireen
The award for the most insecure person goes to Shireen. A woman who has been guilty of snatching someone else's love has been insecure all her life. All her decisions, her actions and words stem from this deep rooted insecurity. She will create more problems in coming weeks. Her insecurities are bound to multiply after Rashid's illness and Zoya's exit.
Did she really start loving Zoya? What a joke!
Shireen, please introspect on why your children are really suffering and Dilshaad's are not??
Quick observations: Rashid is developing a spine just in time to get a heart attack.
Did he say Ayaan told him that Zoya wanted to leave? Did Ayaan ever say, even he wanted freedom from that nikaah? Did Ayaan tell him that he wanted to marry Humeira? So, it sounds like even Ayaan is suggesting that if Zoya had wanted to stay, he would have accepted the nikaah???
