'Bhai mere Jaaan!' Ayaan yelled as he embraced Asad with all his might.
'Ayaaann!!!' Asad whispered as he gathered Ayaan in his strong arms as if he were a little child of his.
'Bhaaiii!! HUM JEET GAYEE HUM JEET GAYEE HUM JEET GAYE!!' Ayaan jumped on his toes in ecstasy!
'Haan Ayaan, HUM jeet gayee!' Asad said as he looked at his younger brother who was dancing away, with eyes brimming up with love.
Asad for a second looked up at the gallery, his eyes in search of an unknown person. And that's when he caught her laughing with someone, with full of life and mirth. A feeling of unsaid peace took over him as he saw her laughing to glory away. This kind of relief was new, and unknown, and he felt good about it, which he couldn't deny. Her smiling face made his lips curl into a grin and he smiled like there was a never tomorrow, for the first time in many years, which he was unknown about.
Ayaan caught him, breaking him away from the trail of his new found thoughts.
'Bhaijaan? What's wrong?'
'Woh - Woh - Actually . . . Where is your friend? Her sister? They must be waiting for you, isn't it?'
'BHAIJAAN! They are NOT waiting or me! But for you! There they are let me fetch them, okay?'
'Shall i wait at the parking lot?'
'Sure! Will meet you there!'
'Come soon!'
'YESSS Bhaijaan!' Ayaan rolled his eyes animatedly as Asad smiled at his antics and both parted for their ways in the different directions.

'Congratulations bhaijan! Wait! I can call you Bhaijan right?' Humera squealed as she extended her hands towards Asad who was standing by his bike, awaiting for them.
'Of course Little Mohterma! Thank you so much!' Asad smiled as he tapped her head affectionately.
'I am not Little!' Humera pouted as Zoya smiled at her.
'See, Little Mohterma, you are my Tiny Little younger brother's ? . . ? Asad searched Ayaan for help.
'G-G- Girlfriend!' Ayaan gushed about, as Asad rolled his eyes.
'YEAH! You are my Tiny Little Younger Brother's Guurrfriend! So by that you are a Little Mohterma! Isn't it?' Asad said lovingly which was so unlikely him, and as a result all three of them burst out into a hearty laughter.
Her laughter. Something lulled about her to him. Previously he had never noticed any girl laughing so care-freely about. And it made him feel so good. Her giggles were music to his ears, and by now he wished he could hear it all the day, throughout the years to come. A smile unknowingly crept on his face and he dreamily looked at her.
'Bhaijaan!' Ayaan again broke him from his lovely reverie.
'Huh? Huh? WHAT?' Asad asked in shock, suddenly too conscious of himself, as if his thoughts were transparent enough to read.
'You got lost somewhere and then refused to come back!' Ayaan frowned at his brother widening his eyes.
'NO! I did'nt!' Asad scorned back.
'Okay fine! Can you please permit me to enjoy the rest of my evening with Humera? Both of you, if you guys insist.' Ayaan made a puppy face as he pleaded and Humera hopefully looked at her elder sister, looking for a nod of agreement.
'Sure.' , Came the instant reply in a jinx from both the sides.
Ayaan and Humera huddled together in an embrace in joy while the elder siblings decided to smile at their ecstatic younger ones.
Ayaan!' Asad called as Ayaan ignited his bike, while Zoya stood beside them as she and her sister exchanged a word and a two.
Yes Bhaijaan!' All the three looked at Asad suddenly.
'Take this!' Asad said ad he threw the keys of his bike for Ayaan to catch. 'And come home before Ammi starts to worry.' Asad said as Ayaan ran to engulf him in a bear hug.

Zoya was happy that Humera happily bid a farewell and Ayaan had promised to take care of her, but still she felt a bit jealous, not really jealous bit a tad sad that she had to walk all the way home ALONE. Shrugging her shoulders, she looked at her toes and proceeded to leave when she realized that Ayaan's elder brother had not left yet, and more worse was, she didn't wish him a night.
Miss Farooqii. . There he called before she could. She bit her tongue and then turned back.
'Yes Mr Khan?'
'Erm . . Can I . . I mean . . Can we walk home please? I mean, THEY say Never leave a girl at the airport, its not a chivalrous thing to do!' Asad just shuttered in between his words as he stated the fact. 'What am I even speaking?' He scorned at himself while Zoya laughed softly at him.
'Sure, why would I even mind?'
'Thanks.'
'You are welcome!'

The dusk had just started to set in. Crickets where chirping, and the Dew started to fall, adding a little moisture to the air. The Sky was bright orange and the birds were returning back to their respective homes. The chirping of the sky made both Zoya and Asad feel warm in their hearts as a smile played on their lips.
' By the way, Congratulations.' Zoya said with eyes full of appreciation.
'Thank you.' Came the reply as Asad looked down at his toes while he walked with his hands behind.
'You know you are a very good driver. Almost everyone knows you. I mean you are very- po-pu-lar.' Zoya stammered out the last phrase.
'How can you say that?' Asad looked at her with a certain surprise in his eyes.
'Ermm, there was this girl, she was really KNEW you!'
'Ahh, no one does really?!' Asad brushed off the words.
'How can you say so?'
'Because - -'
'Hey! Did you ever come here?' Zoya ran ahead and climbed up the Gothic rock fountain, which was tainted with age, before she could let Asad complete.
'Yes I pass by everyday but why?' Asad asked in amusement finding nothing unusual about the old fountain apart from that it was still working.
'This is a Wishing Fountain! Did you ever know that? Whatever you wish for comes true, its said' Zoya spoke animatedly.
Asad instantly gave his brows a press and pressed a lips into a thin line.
'Do you need a coin?' Asad looked at her arching one of his eyebrows.
Zoya nodded her head in negative and then nodded for a yes and again in negative.
Asad extended his hand and helped her to climb down.
'Thank you' she muttered.
Heres it.' Asad said as he fished out a copper coin of the British era from his pocket.
Zoya happily took it as a little child of five when promised for an ice-cream cone.
Asad smiled at her antics as Zoya shut her eyes tight, her eye-lashes brushing her cheeks, while she made the wish. And then threw the coin in the sink of the fountain and smiled back as she opened her eyes.
'You wont make a wish?' Zoya asked Asad.
Asad shut his eyes and nodded a no and said Chaley?'
'Yes please.' Zoya replied.
But in the sink of the solid rock, with Zoya's copper coin, lay a few more copper ones too.
