CHAPTER ELEVEN :

They sneaked inside the house without making noise. Asad was at front while Zoya was hiding behind him. He closed the door and was sure that no one knows anything when someone switched on the lights. He looked at his left side where Dilshad was standing.

'Ami ? You are still awake ?' Asad asked to give a red signal to Zoya who was going to come at front. Zoya gulped as she heard him.

'Yes beta how can I sleep when you are awake ?' Dilshad said with a smile.

'Ya, I was just checking the locks. Its not safe here you know. I don't know how you guys are living here ?' Asad said and tried to walk to his room with her on his back. Dilshad looked at him questioningly. 'Actually, I have just heard about. . . .about a gangster who is hiding in this colony. . . . .Yes a gangster.' Asad said. He was standing in the mid of the living room now.

'The gangster is hiding behind you.' Dilshad said and tried to put a fake smile.

'What ? Behind me ? No ami. . . .actually.' Asad tried to say something when Dilshad interrupted again.

'Yes ! Behind you.' Dilshad said again and Asad was quiet. 'Come out Zoya.' Dilshad said and Zoya moved behind his back and stood with him. She was looking at the floor but didn't forget to give an angry look to Asad.

'Ami woh. . . .actually we were just playing hide and seek in the house and you were hiding behind me ?' Asad asked Zoya. Zoya looked at him in disgust on that stupid idea.

'Yes I can see that.' Dilshad said. Asad looked at her direction, she was looking at Zoya's dirty clothes.

'Puphi this is not my mistake, its all his fault.' Zoya pulled out a perfect puppy dog face.

'What ? You forced for ice cream and pizza ! Ami you know I don't like these kind of things.' Asad wasn't understanding how should he handle this situation so he snapped back.

'What the hell ! You took my promise and told me you will handle everything and look at you ? You are lieing to puphi too.' Zoya said in shock while Dilshad was listening to them to know where were they from last three hours.

'Ya but I just meant that for the walk not for all the time you wasted everywhere else. She is just disgusting ami.' Asad laughed annoyingly.

'You are the one who is disgusting, even puphi he lied to me that you want us to go for the walk at this time, I mean at that time.' Zoya told her with sad face.

'Stop it both of you !' Dilshad said a little loudly when Asad was going to answer her.

'Asad, do you have any idea what is the time right now ? I am waiting for you both from last two hours. I wouldn't have allowed you to go out at this time and you took her with yourself too. How can you do that ?' Dilshad understood all the situation.

'Ami, I can take care of her. You don't need to worry, I am grown up now not a kid anymore.' Asad said the last line while looking at Zoya.

'I am not a kid, you idiot !' Zoya snapped back.

'And where is your phone ?' Dilshad interrupted them again.

'I forgot to tell you, I lost it in Goa. I will buy a new one tomorrow.' Asad said.

'What about yours ?' Dilshad asked her.

'Its in the balcony, I didn't knew he is not having his phone and I thought we will be back in half an hour.' Zoya said.

'Ami this won't happen again. I promise !' Asad said.

'Ya ! Look who is talking about promises.' Zoya said in a low voice so only he can hear that. Asad gave her a look to keep quiet.

'I am going to check the doors myself from tomorrow, now go to sleep and Zoya come here.' Dilshad called her and she came near her.

'I just came to check you whether you are fine or not and saw pillows under the covers. I know he must have done that.' Dilshad gave an angry glare to Asad who smiled at her. 'Anyways, I am sorry that I scolded you in the morning but its just that I am worried about you.' Dilshad hugged her and kissed her on her forehead.

'I know puphi so please don't say sorry and I promise you that next time I will give you a better result, I will only concentrate on my studies from now on.' Zoya said and hugged her again. Asad and Dilshad were happy to know that.

FLASHBACK STOPS

'Zoya bring her down in five minutes.' Dilshad came to her room and interrupted there conversation.

'Yes puphi.' Zoya said with a smile. Dilshad went out of her room.

'Lets go !' Zoya said to Najma and made her stand up again.

'This is so heavy, how will I walk down the stairs ?' Najma asked while coming out of the room.

'I told you to get ready in my room downstairs, you were the one who wanted to give a grand entry of yourself from the stairs.' Zoya said dramatically.

'I never knew that the dress would look more heavy after I wear it.' Najma said nervously.

'Ok now everyone is looking at you so keep quiet for the moment. Just concentrate on the stairs and act like you are not confused at all.' Zoya gave her a tip as soon as they were on the stairs.

'But Bhaijaan is looking at you only.' Najma said while looking at his direction. 'You concentrate on bhaijaan and act like you don't care about him at all.' Najma gave a tip from her side. They both were walking down now. Zoya looked at her annoyingly and then down to find Asad.

She was surprised to see Rashid in the wedding too. When did he come ? I hope everything goes on fine. She saw Asad standing in another corner. She stopped her gaze at him. He was actually looking at her in and smiling unlike others who were saying Mashallah about the bride or talking randomly.

Asad was talking to a friend when he saw both of them coming, like others he appreciated his sister too. She was looking beautiful but then he looked at her left side and Zoya's beauty left him dumbstruck. As she walked down the dress trailed behind her giving him a exquisite feel to the atmosphere( The dress she wore in the Sangeet promo of Maha Episode).

She was looking different then all the girls over there. But did he take a look at any girl over there ? He was just waiting for her. His best friend, his first crush, his first love, his only love and someohow his fiance. Wait ! That is just temporary as decided between him and Dilshad but still even if its temporary, he was commited to her by his promise.

She was still looking at him and he was lost in his own world. She made sit Najma on her place and walked to the kitchen. She wanted to drink water as soon as possible. She never noticed his eyes in that way and Najma made her think in different way today.

'This is all because of Najma, she is making me think like this and look at me I am thinking how she wants me to.' She said as she drank the water.

'Allah Miyaan ! Whats wrong with me ?' Zoya asked while looking up.

'Zoya ! Come here.' She heard Dilshad's voice.

'Coming puphi.' Zoya said and walked out of the kitchen.

She looked at Asad who was standing with his friends. He smiled at her, she felt like he was waiting for her to come out of the kitchen. For a moment, she thought she should work on Najma's plan for some time. And with that thought, she didn't smile him back. She moved forward but could see confused expressions from corner of her eye.

'Hey Zoya !' She was talking to Nisha when she heard a manly voice on her back. She turned back and saw her cousin Osama standing there.

'Hi ! Is abu also here ?' She asked him. She wasn't interested in him. She looked here and there to find her father and her eyes went to Asad and she was surprised to see him burning with anger while looking at Osama.

Is he jealous ? No ! He just cares about me. Protective Ahmed Khan !

'No he couldn't take out time, therefore, he told me to attend this wedding.' He said.

'Oh ! Anyways how are you ?' She asked him with a smile. She wasn't feeling bad that he couldn't come, she had stopped thinking about these things long ago.

'I am fine, but look at you ! You have turned out to be more beautiful.' He said while looking at her from up till down.

Asad was looking at both of them and was controlling himself not to interfare but as soon as he saw Osama looking at her from head to toe his hands turned into perfect fists.

I knew it since he came that he would talk to Zoya. Who the hell invited him ? I feel like throwing him out right now, I think I should go and check the guest list first ! No, First I should take Zoya away from him.

'Thank You !' Zoya smiled shyly with a dreamy sigh as she saw Asad coming near them.

'Zoya ami is calling you.' Asad said.

'No ! I am not. Who said that ?' Dilshad turned back who was standing near them and asked confusedly.

'Actually ami. . . .Zoya, I think Najma is calling you.' Asad said to her while Dilshad moved to other side to talk to other guests.

'Ok !' Zoya said annoyingly but didn't move still. She was enjoying his possessive nature.

'And you have turned out to be more handsome then before.' Zoya complimented Osama ignoring Asad. Osama was smiling proudly now.

He is handsome ? Is she blind ? Or am I over reacting ?

'No ! I am not, Its just that I workout every week and. . . .' He was going to tell his whole routine when Asad interrupted again.

'I am talking to you Zoya ? She is calling you.' Asad said again. He was getting annoyed by her ignorance while Zoya was still looking everywhere else other than him.

Allah Miyaan ! I have never seen this side of him. He looks so cute when he is jealous. Then maybe he loves me too ? I hope so !

'How about Asad you go and help Najma and Zoya can get me something to eat ? I know I just ate and the food was delicious too but still I am hungry.' Osama suggested friendly.

He just ate three plates with me and now he is hungry again ? Asad ! Just use your brain. Reason one could be that he is an elephant. Well ! That he already looks like somehow so maybe he deserves to eat that much. . . . .Wait ! What was the second reason ? Yes that he wants to stay near Zoya.

'Ya thats a good idea.' Zoya said happily and Asad looked at her in shock.

No way ! I won't let that happen. I know she is not my personal property but she is not made for a duffer like him. She deserves someone better. . . . .and his eyes make me think that he is upto something.

'But Ghafoor Bhaijaan was saying that he likes Zoya in her pictures.' He rememberred Dilshad telling him many years back.

'No !' Asad said loudly like coming out of a nightmare and everyone looked at him in confusion. Zoya and Osama also stopped in the midway.

'What happened ? Should I wait for some more time Asad ?' Asked Qari Sahab who was just going to start the Nikaah.

'No Maulvi Sahab ! I wasn't talking to you. You should continue.' Asad tried to maintain a smile on his face and he started the Nikkah.

'Zoya ! Just go to Najma, she needs you now.' Asad said angrilly this time and she nodded in positive while looking at his angry face.

This look of mine always works.

She forgot the plan right now and walked to her. He took a deep sigh of relief but that wasn't for too much time.

'Isn't Zoya looking beautiful in that dress ?' Osama asked him with a smile.

'Yes ! Do you have any problem with that ?' Asad glared at him angrilly and he gulped as he looked at Asad.

'No ! I ddon't have anny prroblemm. She is likke a sister to me, actually iff you remember she is actually my cousinn ssister.' Osama stammered.

'Good for you.' Asad said and patted his back with his heavy hand and Osama tried to smile a little. Zoya was looking at them and tried to control her smile when she saw Osama getting scared from Asad.

Why is Asad behaving like that ? And look at that Osama, he is such an idiot ! He should be behaving possessive about me as I am his sister but he is of no use.

She heard everyone saying 'Mubarak ho' and came out of her thoughts.

'Is nikaah done ?' She asked Najma.

'Yes ! When you were lost in Bhaijaan.' Najma said naughtily.

'I was thinking about something else, anyways congrats Najma. Oh My God ! You are married now. I am so happy for you.' Zoya hugged her happily.

'Thank You.' Najma said.
