Asad-Zoya.... Mohabbat Ke Doubt.

DISCLAIMER: Not a spoiler nor a prediction. Just some of my thoughts.

First of all, I would like Asad and Zoya to get together on the anniversary of their first meet. The first nok-jhok - Asad almost knocking Zoya down after the dargah. That's when they first met, right. Asad was mersmerised by Zoya then.

Zoya after being accused of trying to poison Ayaan, should be sitting all by herself in pain. [Asad and Zoya always knew when the other was having a problem.] So Asad picks up the phone to call her. Zoya picks the call without checking who was calling her.

Asad: "Ms. Farooqui?"

Zoya: "Mr. Khan..." and starts sobbing.

Asad: "Ms. Farroqui, what is wrong?". Zoya continues sobbing.

Asad: "Zoya...wait there. I'm coming..." and cuts the line.

Asad drops everything and rush over to SM to get his Ms.Farooqui.

But once they are back at KV, things are not the same between Asad and Zoya. There is an awkwardness.

Dilshad brings up the topic of Asad-Zoya's marriage. Asad is smiling, but Zoya gets up and walks away from the table. Asad is shocked and a fear creeps into his heart. Dilshad is startled but she then realizes that Zoya has been more traumatized by all that has happened than was perceived.

Asad gets up to follow Zoya, but Dilshad stops her.

Dilshad: "Asad, stop. Zoya needs some time by herself. Leave her be for now."

Asad hesistantly: "Ammi, do you think that Zoya has stopped loving me? Do you think that Zoya does not want to marry me anymore?".

Dilshad: "No Asad. If she had stopped loving you or if she did not want to get married to you, she would not have returned back here with you. She could have gone back to NewYork. But she didn't, right? There's more to this. She is at the moment traumatized. Give her a while".

Asad gave a small sigh of relief but still fearful of the situation. He wanted to go to Zoya but decided to heed to Dilshad's advice. He went to his room.

Dilshad prayed a silent prayer asking for strength for Asad, Zoya and herself to handle the situation wisely.

She got up and went towards Zoya's room and knocked on the door. There was no answer. Dilshad knocked again.

Dilshad: "Zoya, I know you want some time alone. But remember you are not alone. If you need to speak, I will be there for you always as a mother." She waited for a moment, there was no answer.

Dilsahd: "Ok Zoya, I'm going to retire for the night. Have a good night's rest". and left for her room.

Meanwhile Asad is pacing in his room, unsure of what to do. He then decides to rest of the night, that is, if he could and speak with Zoya the next morning. He got in bed. Tossed and turned for a while initially before falling into a restless slumber.

In the middle of night, Asad jerked awake. For a moment, he was confused. He sprang out of bed saying "Zoya..." and rushed to Zoya's room. He stopped short in front of Zoya's room. He slowly opened Zoya's room so as to not to wake her up. He had the shock of his life. Zoya's bed was empty. It did not even look slept him. He pushed the door open wider and shouted "Zoya..." and rushed to the washroom and tried the bathroom door. It opened easily. Asad was frantic. He rushed to the balcony and then to the garden... He searched everywhere but he could not find Zoya. He just sat down on the ground.

Asad in despair: "Please God help me find Zoya. I cant live without her at all". He sat there for a few minutes with his hands on his head.

Asad decides to go to Dilshad's room and tell her that Zoya has left them. He goes to Dilshad's room and softly knocks on the door.

Dilshad is startled awake.

Dilshad: "Who's there? Asad?... Zoya...?"

Asad: "Ammi, its me" and opened the door.

Dilshad: "What is wrong, Asad"

Asad: "Ammi, Zoya has left me. She gone again. I don't know what to do"

Dilshad: "Asad, Zoya did not go anywhere". With that Dilshad pulled back the covers. There was Zoya all cuddled up to Dilshad.

Asad just collapsed on the ground with relief. Zoya meanwhile, started grumbling, "Phuppi, what are you doing? Its too early to wake up na... I want to sleep some more."

Dilshad smiled and was about to cover Zoya when Asad raised his hands to stop Dilshad. Asad then walked over to the bed, took the cover from Dilshad hands and tucked them both in. Unable to stop himself, he brushed Zoya's hair from her face, caressed her cheeks and left the room.

Asad shut the door, then leaned against it with tears of relief and thanked God and left for his room.

Zoya woke up in a confused state and asked Dilshad, "Phupi, Did Mr.Khan come into the room? I thought I heard his voice. Was I dreaming?"

Dilshad just smiled: "Go back to sleep" and just hugged Zoya.

Dilshad: "These two love each other so much. God, please don't bring any more trials into their life. Please help give them strength to face whatever doubts and fears they currently have. I leave their marriage into your hands."

P.S I would like a heart-to-heart convo between Dilshad and Zoya may write about it later
