Very apt post i would say...you have raised valid points and done a fair comparison...the two brothers are really different from one another..and that difference has been highlighted from the very first episode...The Dargah scene is very symbolic of how the show was to go on..thou Ayaan chased Zoya, but it was Asad she ran into, and whose house she went to and who is fell in love with.
I haven't thought about Ayaan falling for Zoya until bheegi made a post refering to the 'look' ayaan gave zoya...and the more i think about it...the more it is possible.
I am not a huge fan of Ayaan, he doesn't do much right in life. He is a implusive confused soul who hasn't really seen how hard life can be...he has everything ( from family to money) that his elder brother didn't have...but the difference is Asad worked hard, supported his family and became just as successful as Rashid Ahmed Khan. Ayaan is used to getting his demands..whenever and whatever it is...Time and again, he proves that he is indeed Shireen's son.
just like he asked his brother to 'loan' Zoya to him 😡 and Zoya was treated like a possession between the two brothers. And if Ayaan does fall for Zoya...and asks Asad for Zoya once again...this time Asad will not give up his life...he better not.
And i am not saying Asad is perfect or hasn't made his share of mistakes...he makes them but unintentionally most of the time. Zoya use to call him emotionally challenged but the reality is that he is a emotional fool...and gives into demands of his brother. But Asad has a pure heart and he loves his brother, that is his weakness and Ayaan exploits it every time
I felt for Humeria the most since the accidental nikaah...because in true reality, the poor girl has no one. Thinking about Ayaan and Humeria...Ayaan never truly valued Humeria until she went missing and came back as Ragini...so one would wonder : Does Ayaan truly love Humeria ? because nowadays: he doesn't even knows she exists, he is too busy consoling Zoya and being Raburt for his Mona...
