Once up on a time when I was a kid, my granny used to tell me interesting bed time stories and at the end of it I was given the moral of the story. Today, I remembered one of those tales and the moral when I look at the current state of QH.
Story is set in the beginning of the time. God creates a man, a monkey, a donkey and a dog and gives each of them 30 years life span to live. Monkey, donkey and dog feels 30 years is too much and ask God to cut short their life span to 10 years. Man hears this and ask god to give the unwanted life span of other species to him, God says to man that you can have those extra years but it comes with consequences and man accepts.
Based on the new allocation, man gets 90 years, and other species gets 10 years each. When man dies after 90 years of life, he goes to heaven. God asks if man was happy with his extra years of life, man thinks for a minute and says ..."I am not sure if I was happy, I felt like my childhood was more like a monkey life where I did all silly things and my youth was more like a donkey life as I was working hard to make ends meet and my old age was more like a dog life where I was taking care of my grand children and loyally helping out my children to move forward with their careers and I never felt like I Ied a pure human life". God smiled and said, 'I told you that extra time span comes with consequences, you asked for the time that is not yours, therefore, you lost your identity and lived the life that you asked for that of a monkey, donkey and a dog'.
Moral of the story: You need to know what is rightfully yours and enjoy it and be satisfied with it, if you go by greed you may lose your identity and end up losing what is rightfully yours.
Why it reminds me of QH: CVs are dragging the story line in the greed of more episodes but in the process they are losing real essence, logic and beauty of the story.
