KSG's interview with tellychakkar
The Karan Singh Grover no-holds-barred interview; actor opens up on Qubool Hai controversy

Fasten your seatbelts, for this is one helluva roller coaster article!!!

The industry rose to a rude shock when the news of Karan Singh Grover being sacked by Zee TV from the show Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) hit the headlines.

The channel head Ajay Balwankar spoke and spoke in volumes against the popular actor to the media, who according to him has been unprofessional and also mentioned about a probable legal action against KSG (as Karan is lovingly called by legion of his fans).

Earlier in the day, we also wrote about Raqesh Vashisth coming in as the replacement of KSG. But amidst all this, everyone wanted KSG to open up on the alleged controversy. After all, his reputation was at stake. Everyone wondered, why was he keeping mum? Was he trying to maintain a dignified silence, or was waiting for the storm to settle down before rising from the dust? When we buzzed him, all he said that he would soon issue an official press statement. We waited and waited and refreshed our email inbox, but nada, it only showed silence from KSG's side.

But we were awakened by a sms late in the night asking, Can we talk now?' The message was sent by Karan, anxious and insistent on sharing is heart out. We knew it would be a long conversation. So quickly grabbing a cup of hot coffee, and settling in comfily with a pen and paper in hand (yes, we like the traditional way), we rang up "the" Karan Singh Grover.

Hello Karan, hope you are good. So what's all been written about you? "I am good thank you. Yes, I have read what has been written about me and I have been waiting to talk. I delayed not because I was scared, but I wanted to see how low the channel would stoop to defame me. Whatever has been spoken against me today by Zee authorities have left a very bad taste in the mouth, and I will not let go easily, "said Karan in a heavy tone.

He continued and we let him speak, "It has been said that I came on the sets drunk, which is an utter lie. It is extremely sad that way they have spoken about me. The truth is that my contract got over 3 months back. Right at the beginning I made it very clear that I would stay with the show for a year and then move on. I stayed on because Vikrant (Massey) left the show at the time when my contract expired, and being close to Gul (Producer Gul Khan), I did not want the show to get affected. Hence, I did not renew the contract but continued to shot for Qubool Hai."

So why did he want to quit? "See, I have been keeping very unwell. Right now I am in Delhi and I am not holidaying here. I am suffering from some ailment which I don't want to talk about but yes, multiple physical tests are being done on me. I am in Delhi for health reasons. I had a meeting with the channel on 19th of this month wherein I told them about my problem and they understood it. But on that day they asked me to stay on for a month and then leave. I was worried that people love the character of Asad and they would miss it dearly. So I sat with the juniors of Ajay Balwankar and pondered upon how to show my exit. I told them instead of replacement, for many fans connect me with Asad, kill my character and get a new lead. All was good but then bam...comes today's version from Ajay."

Are you hurt? "Absolutely. You know what, I told Balwankar's juniors that I plan to produce my own show. They told me to do it with Zee and not go to any other channel. They told me to sign an exclusive contract with Zee and I agreed to everything. I said whenever things materialise, I would love to work with them again. Then where is all the negativity coming from suddenly? This shows how less informed Balwankar is when it comes to the meetings I have had with his juniors pertaining to Qubool Hai. The statement was absolutely uncalled for as I gave them dates to end my track. Instead of talking to the press, Balwankar could have just called me up and cleared his doubts. He could have been open minded. He has no right to talk garbage about me to people. They told me to postpone my medical check-ups. I beseeched them to allow me to take a break and in return I promised them to give another 3-4 months of my time to the show. I said it was physically not possible for me to continue shooting. And this is how they reacted to it. Called me an unprofessional."

After a small pause, KSG went on, "I think I became the victim of a channel's ego. They think how can an actor dare to leave us. They would like it the other way. They would say we threw him out. I am completely disappointed and shocked at this point of time. I just want to state that Balwankar has been in the industry for a far more time than me. It's not that we were unaware of each other's existence. He could have taken into consideration our one year of relationship and acted accordingly. Now it's more like one more show, one more channel, one more person. Very sad. Know what, you guys wrote about Raqesh (Vashisth) replacing me, I am the one who convinced him to be a part of the project, as Asad is a very loved character. He is a very dear friend to me. You do so much and what you get in return...humiliation."

What about the legal case that the channel intends to file on him? "Oh, they have no base for that. My contract got over with the channel. The only person who can file a legal case is me against Zee for defamation, which I am considering seriously."

This will get dirty, it seems!!!

Before signing off he said, "I have no issue with Gul at all. She is a lovely person. I just wanted to share the truth with my fans who love me a lot and have supported me throughout. I felt they should know my side of the story. I have nothing else to say. Thank you everyone and I will be soon back doing what I do the best."

Whoa...he really opened up, didn't he? As they say, the absolute truth is always someone else. But all we can say, these are issues which keep cropping up in the entertainment industry. We just hope both Zee and Karan find peace and do great in the future.

"I Have Personally Never Witnessed Any Such Behaviour" - Nehalaxmi on Karan Singh Grover

Zee TV's top show "Qubool Hai" at 9:30 pm slot produced by 4 Lions, is facing a high time crisis with rumours doing the rounds that the lead actor Karan Singh Grover might be replaced in the show. It has been blamed on Karan that he comes either drunk on the sets or with a hangover. Because of his unprofessional attitude, he has been asked to step out of the show.

However, another version of the crisis is that Karan Singh Grover had a one year contract and is leaving the show as he is busy with films. We urged his co-actress Nehalaxmi (Najma in Qubool Hai), playing his on screen sister to give us her statement about the blame been put on Karan Singh Grover.

Neha replied, "I have personally never witnessed any such behaviour as long as I was shooting with him.Since a few months I haven't been shooting at the same set as his, so I have no idea about all this as such".

The issue has become a burning topic on the social networking platforms. Karan Singh Grover's fans took it to Twitter and the hashtag #WeSupportKSG is trending on Twitter since hours.

The rumours about his leaving the show started doing the rounds sometime back in October 2013. However, Karan Singh Grover gave out a statement about not leaving the show putting an end to the speculations. From the month of November, his character (Male Lead) started getting comparatively less screen space in the show.

Last year, during the same time, social media was burning with almost same kind of issue concerning 4 Lions' previous show "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?". The lead actor Barun Sobti was blamed for putting an end to the show and the channel (Star Plus) flashed a disclaimer on screen saying that the show is going off air as he decided to leave the show. This year again another male lead from the same production house is again blamed for gross misbehaviour and for taking more interest in movies. This time the channel is different (Zee TV). However, the actions of both the broadcasters are equally demeaning and unprofessional on their own part.
It is absolutely disheartening to see broadcasters always putting blames on actors repeatedly for lack of professionalism from their own side. If a channel can't take appropriate measures even after getting advance notices from respective actors months before, then that's the broadcasters fault and not the actors who have already served their notice period with full dignity and professionalism.

Palki on KSG n dmg from 4:11 onwards

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-sagzN60Vg&feature=youtu.be

We know DMG is very close to your heart, any favorite character you got there?

Everytime I get question about DMG. Favorite character in DMG has to be Armaan na! How can it be anything else. Armaan is, will be, forever will be my favorite character. When I homeworked about Armaan that this is the language and confidence level one should have so much. I tried wit some, but when that did not work then I actually brought Karan. I think Karan himself is an institute of acting. He is so good. He has to be Armaan. It can't be any other person be Armaan. Because it is the most versatile character. And that character has done so well that people still today ask me to bring back DMG, Armaan and Riddhima. There are so many fond memories with DMG, twenty thousand fond memories. We used to have very good time with each other and pranks. We used to pull pranks on Shilpa in the beginning. She was blunt, she did not understand. But she was so smart. She patiently took the prank first then went away from there. We used to say 'arrey, where she is going'. So, we used to play lot of pranks. The dance sequences I can't forget in DMG, because I think except Drashti and Sunaina all others were pathetic dancers. Shilpa was ok, but she had to be taught. The boys were MashaAllah. It was so difficult to do events with them. But it used to be so much fun that after the event we were like 'aah, exam khatam hua!'. In every event we used to dance, whether its 'salam-e-ishq' or holi song after it shoot got finished, we played the song and we entire team used to dance together. So, these are great memories.

People like KSG and Drashti started of with you like Armaan and Muskaan how do you feel being behind these successful people? How do you feel they still acknowledge you?
No, I don't think I am the reason behind there success. I would just say that I do select people, that's the job I have. After selecting if I feel that s/he has that quality then I give my 100%.

In his inteviews Karan Singh Grover acknowledges, even when its about Qubool Hai, he tells.

I am saying if I have confidence for someone then I would fight and I would be ready to loose my job and I will be ready to stick by that person. KSG had me almost lose my job. Because nobody had confidence on him. They were like, 'he used to play a negative character'. And they were not interested to take him in DMG. I said I am agree to loose my job if he fails. They said, 'are you sure'. I said, 'I will quit if he does not work'. He worked.

(Palki also said about how she selected Barun Sobti for DMG by fighting others though his character could not grow much there, then sent him to sony and then he worked for IPK and was hit and also talked about Drashti, Shantanu in this way).

So, that's what I am saying, coincidentally none becomes successful. Like Karan became, Barun became, Brushika became, Amar became. They were like kind of rejected things. So, when I took it up on my shoulder that no they will shine. So, I worked hard on them and that all things happened. I would say its not my but purely their talent that their trust on me that they worked well with me and they have done so well.

Zee TV tweets
ZeeTV would like to inform the fans that Karan Singh would be no longer be a part of Qubool Hai.

Mr.Bhalwankar, the Content Head of ZEEL, said, "Unprofessional behavior will be always accorded with strict disciplinary action.

Actors should not take things lightly when they agree to be a part of a show as their erratic behavior can affect the livelihoods

Of many others who are working on it. No actor can hold shoots or dictate their T&Cs to an extent that it hampers the show.

Karan Singh Grover clears his stand and Zee again blames Karan Singh Grover

Newsroom took a deep analysis of the current situation and we still find it as a rude shock that a leading GEC like Zee TV is defaming a actor and that too who was part of their hit show Qabool Hai.

Newsroom doesn't take any one's side but it's clearly significant that Zee TV is defaming a actor.First time a channel tweets about a actor quitting.Yes,it's true Zee TV's verified twitter account tweeted about Karan not being part of Qabool Hai.

Karan Singh Grover further talks to Newsroom and he said,"I released a statement on a portal yesterday and I was willing to forget everything and start a fresh as I am suffering from health issues. If taking care of health is throwing tantrums than I am ready to take all the blames from the channel."

On asking about the defamation against him done by the channel he replied,"I am not commenting on this now as I don't want to give the channel publicity from my name."

We wish both the channel Zee TV and Karan best of luck for their future! .

Forum 32 article: BTS - Zoya's Dream and Haider's Anger Scene

The sequences which involve breaking things are potentially dangerous and lot of precaution is taken while shooting them. We in the shot were enumerating to Mohit how Karan Singh Grover who plays Asad has broken quite a lot of furniture and windows during the show and it was nice to see Mohit Sehgal take some safety measures. The brave KSSG usually would do the shot by boxing the mirror without any gear on his hand.

Interview of Raqesh on replacing Karan Singh Grover and how KSG convinced him to take up the role of Asad in Qubool Hai .

Raqesh: Mei nehi chahta kisiko replace karna aur Karan is a very dear friend. Eventually Karan called me and he said, "kuch problems ki wajah se mei nehi kar pa raha hu. Toh obviously mujhe lagta hai ki tum sabse best fit hoge is role mei." Toh I think mujhe convince kya gaya hai.

Question: Kya kaha tha Karan ne jo aap convince finally huey? Because Karan told that, "I really convinced him", toh humein janna hai woh conversation.

Raqesh: Karan bola, "bhai, karle. Its a good role, meri kuch majburiya hai, mei nehi kar paa raha hu." He is not keeping well also.

Question: Ek responsibility hota hai kahi na kahi, logo ko lageka shayad Karan nehi hai, TRPs might drop, all that went through your mind?

Raqesh: Yes, for sure. Because, Karan has definitely made a bechmark. Playing Asad Ahmed Khan is really not easy. Bohot difficult hai woh role. And I think Karan did a fab job. Uske shows mei fit hona kisi bhi actor ke liye bohot mushkil hai, because audience really love him. In fact Karan ne bola bhi mujhe ki, "Agar tum karte ho woh role toh mei fans ko bolunga ki, unhone itna pyar diya woh ab tumhe de as Asad."

Actors Been Made A Scapegoat: A Tradition Followed By Broadcasters and Producers on Indian Television

Indian Television Industry has seen and experienced some major controversies in the past 10 years of its lifetime. Almost every channel and many producers along with a handful number of actors were been dragged into controversies over the years. Where some of the characters could have been successfully replaced, some could not be and there's one example as well where the viewers didn't allow the channel to even consider a replacement. Let us take a ride through the yesteryear's and today's controversies where actors were made scapegoats by the producers and channels.

Karan Singh Grover

Karan Singh Grover is known to be one of the most straight forward actors of Indian Television. A senior actor by now and not one who is new in the business, has recently been blamed for being drunk while coming to the sets of his hugely popular show Qubool Hai'. He has been blamed for misbehaviour, delaying shoots and also for indiscipline on the sets by the channel Zee TV. Again produced by 4 Lions', we see history repeating itself.

As the contract with the actor ended this October, Karan Singh Grover opted to take his leave from the show. He himself arranged for a proper replacement and also gave a prolonged notice period. The channel initially was co-operative but suddenly they decided to come out and give statements about his gross misbehaviour being the reason for showing him the door.
While all his co-stars and fellow colleagues from the industry denied of ever seeing him coming to the sets in a drunken state or being unprofessional, the channel decided to send him a legal notice too for the inconvenience he allegedly caused to them.

Everytime a one year contract causes a major dispute between the actor and the channel creating a major controversy around the production house of 4 Lions' as well. Why not making the contract a longer one? Why not taking lessons from the previous incidents in order to prevent anymore ugly turnover in future? The male lead characters of 4 Lions are rather very strong unlike the other contemporary shows making the lead actors almost irreplaceable.

We need to understand that a Gopi Bahu (Saath Nibhaana Saathiya) or an Anandi (Balika Vadhu) can be successfully replaced because those are characters which doesn't require a strong face but are independent enough to run on their own but characters like ASR or Asad Ahmed Khan require strong personalities and it is fairly tough to replace the face that enacts them.

Moreover, as viewers when you have majorly the old generation as viewers, it doesn't matter who is playing a character because all they love is the character only. But when you have these young bloods watching a show for these attractive and popular actors, well, there's bound to be some sort of reaction and repercussion. Even after knowing, experiencing and seeing the controversy that a replacement might create in these love-hate' or angry young man' dominated shows, we wonder why television industry commits the same mistakes.

Read full article here: http://www.fuzionproductions.com/actors-made-scapegoat-tradition-followed-broadcasters-producers-indian-television

Rest of the article includes the following

Rajeev Khandelwal
The one who gave the first Bollywood hit of 2013, Table No. 21, also was a part of a major controversy that took place in 2005. Those were the initial days of Indian Television slowly becoming huge and spreading its roots worldwide. Social media wasn't this active back then apart from a few sites dominating the arena. Rajeev Khandelwal played the role of the suave Sujal Garewal in Balaji Telefilms' Kahiin To Hoga' that aired on Star Plus at 11 pm.
His chemistry with co-actress Aamna Shariff became the talk of the town and Kahiin To Hoga can be regarded as the first romantic show at late night slot to garner huge TRPs successfully (Kahiin To Hoga replaced the thriller show Kahiin Kissi Roz).
By the end of the year of 2004 rumours started doing rounds that Rajeev got into a major tiff with the creatives as he was not happy with the way his character was shaping up in the script. Due to creative dissatisfaction he decided to leave the show but it left a bad taste in the mouth of the channel and the producer. Rajeev was called as the spoiled brat' of Indian Television by Ekta Kapoor on Koffee With Karan' accompanied by her other loyalists (Hiten Tejwani, Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy).
Star Plus as the broadcaster of the show decided to remove every nomination of Rajeev Khandelwal from the categories of Star Parivaar Awards 2013 inspite of Rajeev's presence on screen until the telecast of the awards. His popularity was at peak at the moment and he swooned over every other award that year and it cannot be denied that had the channel not showcased their arrogance, Rajeev would have bagged the Star Parivaar Award too. A replacement (Gurpreet Singh) was introduced in the show whose name everyone forgot. Sujal is embedded in the minds of people with Rajeev Khandelwal's face till date.
Star had to gulp in their own medicine in 2009, when Rajeev made a comeback on television after the success of Aamir' and Shaitaan' with Sach Ka Saamna'. He hosted the show and it turned out to be the highest TRP earning reality show of 2009 on Star Plus.

Pulkit Samrat
Today people know him as the Fukrey' lead. But even he had a major tiff with Balaji Telefilms and Star Plus.
The actor used to play the character of Lakshya Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. However, due to health issues he wanted to quit the show in 2007. This led to an ugly spat between the producer and the actor. He filed a case against Balaji Telefilms for non-payment of dues. It was reported at that time that an angry Ekta, banned him from getting any television offers later making him sit idle for a real long time.
It is necessary to note that during this entire period, Balaji Telefilms used to rule the back to back slots of 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm, 10:00 pm, 10:30 pm, 11:00 pm and 11:30 pm. It was the only production house whose shows used to air on all the major prime time slots of Star Plus!
Smriti Irani

Smriti Irani
Who doesn't remember her as the incomparable Tulsi Virani? She is probably the first television actress whose replacement in the show made it to the national television news. In 2007, again due to creative differences a major clash took place and she left the cult show Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi'. The arrogant producers replaced her with Gautami Kapoor. However, the viewers didn't accept the new Tulsi, and eventually due to dropping TRPs, Balaji Telefilms' had to bring back Smriti Irani in 2008.
In 2009, Ekta Kapoor's major Creative Head, Nivedita Basu also decided to call it quits owing to the growing differences of opinion between her and Balaji head Ekta Kapoor. This created a major hole in the creative team of Balaji leading to many failed projects for the production house that year.

Mishal Raheja
Mishal Raheja also faced the wrath of the broadcaster (channel) of his show Laagi Tujhse Lagan' in 2011. The show used to air on Colors and a major controversy led to his replacement. He was alleged for being a brat on sets and also blamed for throwing tantrums because of which Colors decided to show him the door and replaced him with Shabbir Ahluwalia with a whooping amount.
Within months of the replacement, the TRPs of the show dropped to excessively low points. The audiences didn't accept the new replacement and Mishal always remained their favourite and unforgettable Dattabhau'. His angry young man image is memorable for his fans who are still waiting for his return on screen.

Gia Manek
Owing to a contract with Star Plus, she was reportedly not allowed to perform or take part in the competitor's (Colors) reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. She was absolutely loved and adored by the viewers as their Gopi Bahu. However, she denied complying with the clauses set by the channel and Star Plus decided to replace her overnight within a very short span of time.
Her sudden replacement came as a surprise for the viewers. Devoleena Bhattacharya later replaced her as Gopi Bahu and she is still playing the character in the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya'. Gia later played the lead role in SAB TV's Jeannie Aur Juju'.

Barun Sobti
He was probably playing the strongest male lead character of his times. Star Plus' Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon' was not only a successful flick in India but with all probability it might be the first show to create a huge rage among the South Asian crowd at the international market too. His character, Arnav Singh Raizada, remained unbeatable and unbreakable throughout the journey of the show. His chemistry with Sanaya Irani in the show was also the talk of the town creating magic on screen all over.
Being at the peak of his popularity, Barun decided to quit after his contract ended in 2012. He gave a prolonged notice period and continued working until the producers or the channel found a suitable replacement. Initially when the rumour of his quitting the show was confirmed, fans spammed, called, mailed and pinged every possible media houses and sources to make it clear that a replacement of Barun Sobti is not acceptable. It was made clear that either retain Barun or shut the show down with Barun but nobody else should be the Arnav Singh Raizada except Barun. The production house 4 Lions' were criticised badly by the fans inspite of Barun's giving them a clean chit for being very co-operative.
However, Viraf Phiroz Patel was roped in as the possible replacement of Barun Sobti. But after a hugely popularised and successful UK trip of Barun and Sanaya, the channel all of a sudden declared the show's closure. Surprise and shock hit the viewers when a disclaimer flashed on screen during the last week of the telecast. The disclaimer roughly said that, the show is being discontinued as the lead actor Barun Sobti chose to do films instead of the serial. The entire blame for the closure was put on the actor when he was not even within the boundaries of India (was still in UK).
The channel later blamed the fans and claimed that they just did listen to and obliged to what their viewers wished for. However, the need of the disclaimer still remains to be questioned and can't be justified even today, as the entire incident turns a year old.

30th December 2013

Karan Singh Grover's exit from 'Qubool Hai'; Who is really to be blamed?

New Delhi: Another star exit, another media circus, another blame game between the television channel and the star and the only one who loses anything is the FAN. Unfortunately this time the sequence of events has hit the only serial I used to watch, Karan Singh Grover starrer 'Qubool Hain'. For 12 months every day I have sat in front of my TV at 9.30 pm, laughed with the lead pair of 'Qubool Hain'- KSG and Surbhi Jyoti (SJ) as Asad and Zoy and cried in their turmoil and made them a part of my life.

On 26th December, I woke up to sensational articles where Zee TV claimed that KSG, the 'bad boy of Indian TV' has been sacked from the serial, due to unprofessionalism. Slandering of the star to the lowest depths followed, with the actor refuting the claim by citing ill-health. I don't know who is right and who is wrong and frankly I don't care anymore. As a fan I feel let down, because I was watching the serial only for a closure to Asad and Zoya's love story, the next steps in their union and the realization of their destiny.

Sadly this has become the state of Indian Television. All serials start off brilliantly with immense promise and somewhere in the middle they get lost in the maze of TRPs, cheap publicity and making what sells. 'Qubool Hain' started off as a drama that aimed to destroy misconceptions about the Muslim culture, to make a statement against orthodoxy, going beyond appearances and portray a changing generation that challenges stereotypes. I started watching the serial because its main protagonist, Zoya Farooqui was a jeans wearing, very modern women, raised in the US, yet very close to her culture and roots. The story moved on with her clashes with the very orthodox, Asad Ahmed Khan and how she changed his conservative thinking and start of their love story.

However, somewhere down the line the serial became lost in multitude of vamps, warring families, crude language and events that in real life are unfathomable. Slowly it lost its creativity and that eventually drained the morale of the leading cast, leading to exit of one good actor after the other. And then came the final blow with KSG, the main crowd puller and heart-throb of millions deciding to call it quits/sacked by the channel. I am not a die-hard KSG fan, having never seen him before 'Qubool Hain' but as Asad Khan, he was unmatched.

All the parties - channel, production house and the actor, I am sure are at fault. 'Qubool Hain' will still continue but has lost its essence. Even today if I watch American serials like 'Friends', 'X-files' or for that matter the earlier Indian serials on Doordarshan - 'Farman', 'Fauji', 'Kashish', I get a smile on my face, relieving those memories. This cannot be said for Indian TV today, it is so far removed from the reality of an emerging young generation, urban or rural. In which household, do women only gossip, manipulate or scheme, all wives have no desire to be career oriented, men are mama's boys and evil seems to overpower good intentions continuously and repeatedly? Where are the moral values of right and wrong, reflection of aspirations of modern women, changing generation of men and a multitude of other issues that affect lives of millions in these shows?

Till Indian Television comes out of this rut of daily soap operas, driven by TRPs - this cycle of incomplete stories, exit of actors, changing loyalties of audience and the muck that follows is unlikely to end. I wish both Zee TV and Karan Singh Grover all the best, hoping against hope that some lessons are learnt by the industry.

Adding a reader's view I found in FB

"I fully endorse the views of the writer of this artcile as it represents the voice of the viewers. On the positive side even i am not a die hard fan of KSG but once i started watching qubool Hai i do felt there is something magical in this actor undoubtedly a crowd puller (I remember to have read that many leading channels refrained from telecasting this as this is the first time a serial evolves around a Muslim family,) the clashes between seeming and being was also there, and one cannot deny the vital fact that this serial ofcourse brought a change in thinking of some of the men folk who were judgemental in their real life ( am sry i cant reveal their names)- though the dialogues takes its credit and the dialogues subsequently gets its life only when it is rightly delivered by the artist.

And a highlighting factor is that many young grils agreed to the view point wt Zoya says it is my costume and not my character and they have also accepted that girls do need to be safe and escorted and they cant take things for granted as one cannt predict from which corner they may face obstacles.

I have heard so many girls discussing abt this serial ( not in Mumbai but in Chennai to tht extent the serial becz of KSG has made them watch and facebook also adds to this .The channels once they find the TRPs are too high and the artist is to quit they refute charges most of the times unethical, if an actor is too frndly too good , too adaptive too career oriented how could that actor be bad to the channel and producer alone, after this serail KSG may take up some other serials in that case he caring about his health is neve at fault.

Based on the TRPs if the channel intends to make hay while the sun shines shd the actor not do the same thing wt is wrong on the part of the actor, and if he is unprofessionalistic then why was the channel remaining dumb all these time, now they are telling they are gng to serve legal notice that they could have and shd have done it, if they are sure of their charges , that clearlyshows their ulterior motive and fabricataed charges against KSG.

If he felt the script is monotonous or too dragging he reserves the right to quit from the show, if he is not performing to their level will they not sack them and if it is right then wt KSG did is equally right. Ofcourse fans are falling a prey for the cold war between the channel and the actor.Sorry this is my opinion only."

Female celebs select the ultimate male hot bod of 2013

With 2014 knocking on the door, this seems to be a good time to take a countdown on the hot and sexy male actors who graced our television screens in 2013.

Tellychakkar.com talks to a few female celebrities and ask them as to who according to them has been the ultimate male hot bod male of the year?

Sana Khan: I was recently watching the Zee Rishtey Awards and I found Karan Singh Grover very good looking. I feel he is hot, attractive and extremely charming. I would also like to nominate Karan Tacker but he is more on the cuter side while Karan Singh Grover is more on the hotter side.

Roopal Tyagi: Karan Singh Grover has developed a great physique over the years. I think he is very fit.
