Asad is hell bent on leaving all the pain aside and plans to go to the States for good. He is unable to take the agony of his mother walking off for Rashid's house. Love triumphed for Dilshaad and Rashid but turbulent emotions of hatred are taking seed in Shirin's mind.
Asad crumbles at Dilshaad's leaving
Shirin tries to mark a line of non-interference for Dilshaad keeping her at arm's length and away from establishing her right as Rashid's wife. When Asad returns back from Delhi he is unable to see his mother in the house and goes crazy as he searches for her. Finding out that his mother has left to reconnect with his father, Asad breaks down.
He picks up his bags to leave for the airport and all kinds of rationalizations put forth to him by Zoya fall on deaf ears. Her pleads are brushed aside and he gives her a choice -to come with him or stay back. Zoya announces that for her making and maintaining relations is priority and she can't run away from situations.
Broken hearted, with tears collecting in his eyes, Asad drives to the airport as he is enveloped by depressive feelings of being left alone. He starts to cry as he recollects that Dilshaad has walked off and Zoya preferred to let him go because of Rashid.
Zoya and Asad meet at holy mazaar
Fate intervenes once more and a "hitch hiker" goads Asad to go on to the mazaar to beg for God's help. Zoya crumbles down as she feels her world has fallen apart. Realizing that she has made a mistake in letting Asad go on alone, Zoya rushes to the airport. On the way, she decides to stop over to pay her respects at the "Holy mazaar", where unknown to her Asad is already present.
Zoya and Asad meet at the mazaar and she tells him that fate has a different thing in store for him else he would have left by now. She tells him that God wants him to stay back that is why he has landed in the mazaar and met her again. Pleading him to stay back she says that his mother loves him crazy and she herself is head over heels in love with him. Explaining to him that he is an integral part of Dilshaad and her life, she pleads with him. Zoya cries as she tries to tell him that Rashid also needs him at this stage because of his flailing health. Hearing about his father, Asad decides that his exit is a must.
Asad stays back
In the meanwhile Shirin comes into Rashid's room and sees him lying dead to the world. Seeing him in a faint state, Dilshaad starts to crumble and lunges for the phone to give Asad a call. Unable to control her turbulent emotions, Dilshaad informs Asad that his father is very unwell and may not survive. She pleads with him that she will crumble if he leaves her alone. Shell shocked at this news Asad tells his mother he has cancelled his plans of leaving India and will be staying put.
Resorting to God as her only savior, Dilshaad prays to God that she has always been a good wife and good mother and Rashid should be spared such a fate. Shirin pleads to God if she has actually loved her husband from her heart he should get fine. Rashid lies in a faint as his wives pray for health.

A year since its launch, 'Qubool Hai' has notched up top ratings for Zee TV. With 5830 TVTs (Television Viewership in Thousands) in Week 47, it is second to the channel's number one show, 'Jodha Akbar'.
Though an experiment by the channel, the serial did not take much time to catch on. Today, the show's lead pair, Asad and Zoya, played by Karan Singh Grover and Surabhi Jyoti are household names.
Lending a freshness to the TV landscape, which is crowded with saas-bahu sagas and reality shows, 'Qubool Hai' is encouraging channels and producers to hunt for a suitable story set against the backdrop of the Muslim community.
It was not surprising to see Colors launching 'Beintehaa', a show set around the Muslim community. But what made Muslim serials go off the TV radar in the first place?
During the '90s several Muslim serials were popular. Be it the story of Heena (Simone Singh), who struggles through an unhappy marriage or be it Juhi Parmar in the title role of Shaheen, a serial that dealt with extra-marital affairs, and the iconic Doordarshan show Gul Gulshan Gulfam, which revolved around a Kashmiri family's houseboat business being affected by terrorism.
From 2000 onwards the decline of Muslim shows started. It was taken over by joint family shows and 'saas-bahu' conflicts with the success of Ekta Kapoor's 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. "It's all a trend," says producer Farhan Salruddin, producer of 'Beintehaa', which has Amrita Rao's sister Preetika Rao making a debut on television.
"Serials such as 'Basera' and 'Amaanat', which were set amidst Punjabi backdrops, ruled the roost then. But when dailies got introduced, producers started making their shows with a Gujarati set-up," he adds.
While most experts attribute the renewed interest in Muslim socials to cyclical pattern of trends, there are some who blame channels for lacking vision. "Our channels don't show any foresight. I am sure producers might be approaching them with great ideas, but nothing comes out of it," says Mrinal Jha, creative producer of 'Qubool Hai.' She claims that they approached many channels before Zee TV, and faced opposition. "We were told by other channels that our country at this point of time was not ready for a show with Muslim backdrop," she adds.
