Asad in jail has to be very strategically placed because he also needs to be there for Zoya. He has ALWAYS been her protector. He removed the thorn too and even f32 hinted this. So jail cannot stop Asad from being Zoya's protector. The cv's have ALWAYS reinforced this. Even remember during the happy days the kitchen cleanup how he saved her from the cabinet door hurting her. Even during Rajveer when Zoya got stuck he was there! So however the cv's place the jail track it CANNOT hinder with Asad's responsibility towards Zoya!
