Background - he is very curious of late to learn new words..so for everything/ person he sees he will ask me "yeh kaun hai?" and then repeat the word to learn it.

We are eating lunch. I made him some pasta and a corn&bean mexican salad for myself. He was eating his pasta but the minute he sees my food, he grabs my plate since it is definitely more colorful and new for him.

H( him) - Mama,yeh kaun hai? (holding up the bean)

M (me) - Bean hai

a couple seconds later -

H - yeh kaun hai? (holding up the corn)

M - Corn

H -Yeh kaun hai?

M - yeh Corn hai

so yeah...if you did not get it ...this went of for a while before I got that he could not differentiate between the Corn and Kaun...they sounded the same to him...🤣. His expressions when I was responding were so funny..I just had to share...

On a side note - he had downed my salad while his pasta is sitting as is,now cold.
