Well, it is so confusing. Has she really thought about taking care of him as a wife or a friend? has this been shown?
Whether you accept your husband (forced or otherwise),it is still not easy to get over ur first and (so far) true love. Just because you are married, your memories cannot be erased. Neither can you simply forget the dreams you had woven of a happily ever after. And when you do come face to face, you may slip. What would be adultery to me, IMHO, is when she has been in the relationship with Ayaan for a while (not a couple days) yet contrives of ways to meet Asad, or even meets him, pursues a relationship with him, etc.
At this point, Gul has left so much up in the air, that we are all speculating based on out own beliefs and what they are leading us to believe by the scripted interviews and leaked videos.
