Sangeeta, I was pleasantly surprised to read your analysis today. I do appreciate your general positivity but am also glad that we are on the same page. This is how I felt on Friday but you have put it out much more eloquently!
I still find the twist illogical and trying hard to get over it. To me Asad's behavior is out of character, so I just can't get angry with him. The CVs are to blame!! 😆 Yes, he loves his siblings. But right from the start, that love was more partial to Ayaan and not the half sisters. There was hardly any interaction there. Let's keep that aside as my selfish perception. The problem I have is:
- He is agreeing to blackmail. The same person who recently told HB that he will not be blackmailed. The same person who did not listen even to his mother when he filed a lawsuit against RAK.
- Based on the repeated reminder of his love and "aapko mujpe bharosa...", it appears to me that he was planning a charade and not planning on permanently sacrificing his love. What happened to the principled man who hates lies?
- Why oh why doesn't anyone realize that if Nikhat is so fragile and broken, then marrying her off to HB's son is asking for disaster. She needs reassurance, love and support from her family. I want to see her move to KV for a few days!!
- I really cannot see him sacrificing his life to support an incorrect cause. Razia was right! Nikhat does NOT love Farhan. To save one life, 4 (and their loved ones) are being sacrificed. Yeh kaahaan ka insaaf hain?! 😒 What is the guarantee that she will be happy?
- He didn't deem it necessary to even discuss it with Dilshad, the mother he loves a lot? Who incidentally was appointed as Zoya's guardian (in India) as per Zeenat. Sorry, baat hazam nahi hui!
- He is forcing Zoya to accept this for Nikhat's sake. Huh?! No pleading, no requesting, just ordering? Still no open communication?
The only silver lining was his reassurance yet again today. So what exactly is he planning to do? Or leave it to Muqadar?! Just like Zoya did after Ajmer/pregnancy track. Argh! 😡Communication, communication , communication! Can someone please drill that in BOTH Zoya and Asad's heads!!
Zoya pleaded and begged today. Yes, she was the bechaari. Nope, she did not deserve this Neanderthal treatment at the hands of the man she loves the most. Does he drag her in tomorrow? Or does she walk in on her own after listening to his "bharosa" spiel?! Either way, she was the sacrificial lamb. This reminded me of the story Dilshad told Zoya and Najma about the prophet sacrificing his son but Allah gave him back. (I am non-Muslim, so apologies if I'm misstating). With Eid approaching, is that the message that the CVs want to get through?
One incorrect message that is definitely coming across is that women are weak and attempting suicide is fine and gets you what you want. They have shown Humeira (wrist slashing, medicine skipping, Chilli eating), Shireen (can't even remember what she tried to do), Tanveer and her fake assault ministrations! And now Nikhat! You say keep the knife away. I say send all these women into an asylum! A bit too much?? 😆 Seriously, it's ridiculous. Almost every woman in that house is either suicidal or murderous! Instead of the Zingo Hotties, they need to open a Zombie Bloodies group!
I ask (the writers) again: if this is a temporary marriage to be dissolved in 2 to 3 weeks, then what happens to Nikhat then? No badnami? What if Farhan gives talak to Nikhat? What is worse? Be unmarried or be a divorcee?
Ghafoor: I still have some hopes. He definitely loves his prestige, hence had given up on Zainab and Zoya. However, he does love Humeira. Razia has put the talaknama idea in his head. He will implement it!
Shireen: yes, very selfish and dumb woman. I liked her pleading to Asad as it shows she is human and is a Mom begging for her daughter's life. Now, important point to note is that no one at SM except now Razia, know about Ayaan and Humeira's patch up. Would Shireen have reacted differently if she knew that her own son was also sacrificing his love? Maybe not. Parents always are partial to the less fortunate child. (Didn't you explain a medical theory when explaining Humeira's condition?) Misguided? Absolutely but plausible unlike the self-sacrificing brothers. Having said that, I blame her the most for Nikhat's predicament! As a mother she failed when she instilled such low worth in her child. 😭
Badi Bi: Now shouldn't this woman know the Islam marriage laws?! Why was she conveniently quiet?
Rashid: as usual unable to speak up for any of his children.😭
Ayaan: bechaara but willing to sacrifice for his depressed sister.
Humeira: the most unfortunate one. Why is she happy in the promo? This is bothering me still! Is she going to lala land soon?
Tanveer: where is Ms. Muqadar now? Is she going to blackmail AAK? I can see him succumbing to save tamatar's Nikaah?
Agreed, the star of the day, to the sound of drumroll: Razia! That will be the day, when the villain is the star! I need to see her in action soon!
Will Dilshad be the star tomorrow? Or will Asad not let her go to the SM? If she does decide to go, a residual question from Ranveer days, who will drive her?! It's night and the Khans don't seem to have a driver! Will AAK take her??!! Yeah, and pigs will fly!! 😆
