Those words coupled with the treatment of the hand-drag scene (where Asad is dragging Zoya out of his house) bring to mind a key twist in this PH's previous serial. There again, there was no explanation initially. But an episode or two later through a series of flashbacks the six-month marriage proposal was made and enforced. For me, the similarity to today's epi is just too striking to be dismissed.

because deep down Asad wants to believe what Zoya and Ayaan are saying (that the nikah was a mistake) so if AsYa's love is true then nothing can stop them from being together
