Well.. I think it is necessary. I would rather have an Asya nikaah when the whole family is reunited. And I'm sure Gul recited that "tah umar" dialogue so many times to show that things don't always happen the way we want them to. In Zoya's case that is.

Plus Zoya's Abbu's truth needs to come out. I think it'll come out first.. then the truth about the factory. Where Zoya will be happy to find her Abbu and then there will be separation track for her and her Abbu when she finds out he's the reason (and Razia, who will make it look like Gaffur's fault) her mother is dead. Then we can see maybe some random moments of Asad and Zoya. Maybe now finally we can see Zoya confiding in Asad.. and feeling guilty about having separated him from his Abbu.. and then well Asad would either hate her or understand it's not her fault. I'm hoping its the latter.

Honestly. I feel it is necessary. The only other way I can think of a sooner Asya nikaah, is if Ayaan forced Zoya to see that maintaining a fake nikaah is pointless. OR! The nikaahnama having Asad's name on it instead of Ayaan's.
